S6 Active 64 GB - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

AT&T is showing a 64 GB active model now on their website. Is this an error, or have they started selling a 64 GB model. Shows price increase when selected that would be consistent with a 64 GB model. Anyone know?

Didn't even realize this was new. No wonder I couldn't find any on ebay. Anyways... I actually just picked this up in store today haha. About 50gb available right out the box.

Are Exynos 128GB Note 8s common?

So I live in Puerto Rico, and switched to Claro from T-Mobile. I expected a regular 64GB model, but the store I went to only had 128GB oddly enough, which was overkill for my usage, but I got it anyways. They told me it was a limited edition Orchid Grey 128GB model.
I saw it's a 128GB version of the N950F, but when I looked online, only the chinese snapdragon N9500 model. I only could find my model in the Claro PR website, and nowhere else.
I have a few shots below, showing the N950F model, the storage and the outside box.
With 128GB + 64GB, I'll never have to worry about space now I guess
P.S. What's the most up to date unlocked firmware? Claro's firmware is ancient and downloads too much bloat (5 useless apps, 5 bad games downloaded right away ffs)
EDIT: Links below doesn't seem to work for me, as an alternative go to https://imgur.com/a/QVBM2
Here in Mexico the 128 GB variant is the only official model available from The 3 major carriers, samsung on line refers you to telcel, at&t or movistar, if you want a 64 gig or 256 gig, the only option is a no -warranty gray market one, but samsung mexico will
not accept them for warranty claims

So it's a Latin-American thing apparently.

Mi8 Variant

I have ordered a Mi 8 with 8GB RAM and 256GB Flash instead of the version with 6GB RAM and 256GB (it is not Explorer Edition, nor SE)
What do you know about this version, is it original? It is not listed on many Xiaomi sites, but i have found some articles that says Xiaomi also launched this version.
Also, do you think there will be any problems with installing a ROM? Since it has 8Gb Ram instead of 6Gb?
It may be a typo. You'll probably receive the 6/256 version
Yes, i already inquired about an 8gb / 256 and it doesn't exist (atleast 1.5 weeks ago). I ended up buying the 8gb/128gb version (blue) instead. Hope you didn't pay extra for the advertised 8gb, since i agree you will probably get the 6gb/256gb version.

Buying from Canada, coming back to USA

It looks like Canada is one of the cheapest ways to get a P30 Pro. Living on a border state, I can get into Canada and back as a long day trip. Was wondering if any has experiencing doing this?
It looks like Fido and Rogers both have it for $1099 outright, but when I tried to order online it requires signing up for phone service. And I have no idea if they would actually let someone from the US buy one outright from them?
Hopefully someone else has insight doing this?
clove.uk has it the cheapest

They will not allow that. You need to have some form of Canadian ID or bank account when I spoke to them the other day.
clove.uk or amazon.co.uk (for now anyway) will allow pre-order for April 5th release... however order now before Brexit and get it shipped out before Brexit as who knows what will happen to shipping once it hits....
The ones in Canada 6GB RAM though keep that in mind:
https://www.koodomobile.com/phones/huawei-p30-pro
128gb are 6gb ram, 256gb is 8gb ram. Problem is the Canadian carriers want you to change your plan or sign up for a plan. If you want to pre order, you will get a free watch. If you want to buy it outright, you'll have to wait till launch. Rogers, koodo, videotron, bell, telus, fido all have the same rule for this phone.

The version Clove UK is selling is the 128gb with 8gbb of RAM. Are there two SKUs? One with 6gb and one with 8gb, but both with 128gb?
Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
Videotron in Quebec is selling the 128/256gb 8gb of ram. I talked to them yesterday when I tried to buy one out right.

I have heard from people that the Koodo website cannot do different description just based on colour. So 256GB could have 8GB, hopefully.

I've talked to 2 different higher up reps from Bell and Rogers that say the specs on the 256GB are still 6GB RAM. Only storage is different. So not sure at this point. Drives me crazy that these manufacturers have so many different variants to create this uncertainty

Bell and Rogers doesn't even offer the 256GB model. I've only seen Koodo with it so far.
I'll try to see if someone at Koodo can confirm.
Edit:
In Facebook chat Koodo Rep says it's 6GB RAM

Doesnt mean the carriers will carry both though unfortunately.
Videotron has both and I think telus, koodoo and virgin also. Bell, Rogers, fido only have the 128gb as far as I was told.

I bought my 256GB from Koodo (only black 256GB available btw). It's released here on the 11th, should get it in the mail a couple days later.
I can't wait! Lol. My note 4 is holding on by a small thread.

Discrepancy in RAM listed

Samsung and Best Buy show it has 6 GB RAM, Amazon and B&H show 8 GB RAM. Given that there's an Unlocked Sub-6 5G model, a Verizon UW model, European 4G and 5G models, it would be nice to get clarification on which models get what specs.
https://www.phonearena.com/phones/Samsung-Galaxy-S20-FE_id11474
Phonearena says the non-5G (exynos EU) variant has 6GB of RAM
German reviewer who has an Exynos sample in hand said only 256gb version will have 8gb.
US models should only have 6GB. Only in China and EU with 8gb variants w/ 256gb
The model sold on Samsung is the same Amazon 8GB/128GB. I chatted with the Samsung eCommerce customer service to confirm.
Here is how I got the better deal in my opinion compared to Amazon
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s20-fe/how-to/how-to-best-pre-deal-samsung-t4168583
The Samsung UK site says 8GB and the US site says 6GB.
I sent a DM to Samsung UK and they said it is 6Gb for 4G model (Exynos) and 8Gb for 5G model.
Not sure I believe it to be honest. Both 4G and 5G in the UK come in 128Gb ROM size, no 256Gb option here.
What a mess .... I too don't understand the 6G/8G confusion.
In Europe the 5G (Snapdragon variant) is listed everywhere as having 6GB of mem.
No official specs on Samsung site?
In france it's the same thing, 6GB even with the 5G version.
And on Samsung shop, there's the 128GB + 6GB Ram for 5G and no mention of 256GB version, only a 512GB but not available !
I'm expecting 6GB of RAM and definitely so scattered with info
According to a staff member at bhphoto, the USA S20 FE 5G version sold in New York City site is 8GB, despite the website still listing it as 6GB. We have no idea what to expect
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1595232-REG/samsung_sm_g781uzbmxaa_galaxy_s20_fe_5g.html/qa
After speaking with Samsung UK online sales
All UK models come with 6Gb RAM. Their website incorrectly states 8Gb and has been reported to be fixed
You are right
It is 6GB. It's right there stated on this page under the "AP and RAM" section
https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-s20-5g/s20-fe-5g/
The model number they are selling here matches the Amazon model and thus Amazon's 8GB is wrong too.
The UK site says 8GB under the AP and RAM bitnon the site, it's wrong though
Not 100% sure but after doing some research I have found out that in Europe model number : SM-G781BZBHEUB is for snapdragon with 8/256gb. SM-G781BZRDEUB is for Snapdragon 6/128 and SM-G780FZGDEUB is for Exynos 6/128. Where the letter after Z stands for the color. Like SM-G781BZBHEUB is blue. And please correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't know about the non EU versions but all the models mentioned above are sold example on the website of Proshop.de
Per a Samsung rep, the U.S. variant will have 6GB. Which is fine for me.
Unbelievable something like model / ram configuration so simple can be so confusing.
It's either Samsung is doing this intentionally fogging things up or they are really doing a crap job at putting these information out.
My US, T-Mobile phone has 6gb of RAM.
I have a retail UK device. It's the 5G model SM-G781B and it has 6GB RAM.
I received my preorder yesterday and it's the Snapdragon 865 version (UK) it has 6GB RAM / 128GB
I just ordered the SM-G781BZBHEUB, which should be 8/256. If anyone has new info on whether this 5G snapdragon version has 6 or 8 gigs of RAM it would be very appreciated so I can cancel the order before it gets shipped. I'm not going to buy a 6 gb ram phone in 2020, there's just no future-proofing in that.

How much internal storage would depend on your storage needs and how long you expect to keep the device. On a 256GB device actual space is around 200GB when system memory is deducted. The 512GB variant is hard to find, Samsung's US website doesn't offer it in the Verizon or Unlocked Models. I saw only one new unlocked on ebay at $2000 USD. Unless you're in a contract with Verizon or you need mmWave you might consider switching to Tmobile. Samsung US has the 512GB variant with no trade-in for $1380 USD.

Thank you. I actually found a 256 s21 ultra for 750. It wasn't an easy find but I found one at brand new too and so far I'm not regretting switching from an iPhone.
