Head into galaxy apps and download it.
Works great under coj5 firmware.
I think its cool...
It finally let me choose the settings for the games which didnt have these kind of settings
Like
Display
Most of the games run on stretched 1080
But with the help of this tool
I can manage the fps
Resolution
Etc...
Thanks for sharing man!!
Yeah 2k is overkill for any 3d game. Although I don't game too much this is definitely a cool feature. Makes you love touchwiz.
just what I needed.
a few years ago I bought a nice little music game that unfortunately is no longer supported.
it had this annoying design flaw where it could only run at 3 specific resolutions.
after phones started coming out with HD resolutions it could no longer run fullscreen, and now it's the size of a postage stamp.
combining the extra-low resolution setting in game tuner with the game's 800x480(mid) resolution makes it playable again.
edit: it can also let you choose between tablet(mid/high) and phone(e.low/low) interface for galaxy on fire 2.
I recommend either mid(tablet interface, but playable) or low(intended scale for the device's screen size)
I cant see anything called "Game Tuner" in the galaxy apps store.. :-/
(Australian phone) 910G
Now I can't see it too. I got it installed tho. Try play store it also has it.

Any other 910G models been able to run it?

Canadian Note 4 - I was able to install it yesterday. I have only used it to force CoC and Boom Beach back up to qHD resolution. Today when checking the Samsung App Store - it no longer shows the Game Tuner app anymore.
In any case - you may also need the Game Service installed - at least it was a requirement for my Note 4.
View attachment GameService_1.0.apk
I was able to push both APKs over to my Tab S - and it works there too! Boom Beach is back to its 2560x1600 glory.

I too have been playing GoF2 and it is amazing on the AMOLED screen. The other three that I play and look exceptional due to the screen are Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, Shadowrun Returns and Osmos HD. I am always looking for more so any suggestions would be great.
XBMC HD Videos look really nice on this tablet. At least my time watching GOT on this tablet has been a good experience.
The preinstalled video Wonder of Nature is a good one to show it off
Shadowgun runs pretty well on this tablet :

It looks beautiful but.... runs good? I have the Asus Transformer Infinity TF701 with the Tegra 4. I ran the games side by side. On ultra settings the Tegra 4 is MUCH smoother and polished. When running on the Samsung, you feel a bit of stutter. My game play suffered a bit until i got use to it. It seems to clear up on the lower graphic setting.

I second Leo's Fortune
Third it, amazing looking game
Timescapes 1440p Video
Anyone here can try to find and download this video. Timescapes 1440p Video. Search for it. It is 1440p and plays flawlessly with MX Player. It is must have demo material. Whoever watches it will be blown away. Must have for this device. It is about 6GB so an External SD would be ideal.

Dunno, his Tab S seems to stutter on everything. He should really look into replacing that thing. I wasn't surprised it was smooth either. I mean it's not Battlefield 4 after all .

Unfortunately FAT32 external SD cards have a 4GB file size limit, so even that won't help. I would love to find a few clips from this. I think I could split it myself, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it properly without losing quality through re-encoding. I'm no pro when it comes to that kind of stuff.
Great suggestion though.
Format your card in ExFat file system and no longer be a 4gb limited victim!

Hi !
I recently bought the P20 Pro and noticed a big issue concerning touchscreen lag / delay / latency. same problem as on honor 9:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4in_4d4Cico
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YueU5BxyPDg
Playing FPS or PUBG that requires precision becomes completely unplayable.
Do you have this problem? Any solution?
THX
I am experiencing the same issue as well, noticed it initially in pubg.
Any luck solving the issue since posting? I suspect it's related to the firmware though.
I am now considering returning the phone due to this issue, real shame because I really like everything else about it.
Maybe related to: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-8-1-oreo-multi-touch-bug-fixed-june-update/
Not sure, it's not a multitouch problem. But more a single touch issue with some delay/latency. Hope a new firmware can solve this.
Does anyone know if the normal P20 has the same issue? Thanks.

Ok thanks, I'll go to my local store to try the P20 and maybe considering changing my P20 Pro, my 2 years old 150€ Redmi Note 3 has no issues like this, such a shame...
I learned a lot owning Huawei, I always go through the initial setup then factory reset it before I put my Sim in and my p20 pro has 0 lag issues.... It's on the C605rom

I turned off the 3 settings but the issues still there, try to make really tinny circles on a zoomed webpage and you will notice it.
EDIT: if you have some apps using a slider (I'm using Deezer), you will notice you can't be precise, I can't manage to easily set the Smart Cache value in Deezer :/

I checked on my wife's Honor 8 on Sunday and no issue. It seems Huawei ignored the issue with the Honor 9 so we probably won't have a fix.
Nothing interesting from Huawei support. They send me back to my retailer. I will compare with p20 Pro at store.
Scrolling seems to behave slightly strangely - it stops moving almost as soon as I remove my finger from the screen so there's no real inertia or acceleration. Is that standard for everyone or is it related to these latency issues - my old S7 Edge scrolled much more freely?

Dear all,
I am looking to buy a Samsung Galaxy S10, or Note10 Exynos.
For S9 and Note9 Exynos, GPS chipsets provided Accumulated Doppler Range (ADR)
I was wondering if this is the case for S10 and Note10 as well. (Snapdragon 855 does not provide this)
I want to check in person, but I live in US, and it is hard to find Exynos variants here (some sellers say it's Exynos as it is GSM compatible, but GSM is not necessarily Exynos...)
One way to check ADR is:
1. Install Geo++ Rinex Logger (Available in Google Play Store)
2. Press start logging when you can see satellites
3. This makes a .19o extension file that can be simply read using any text editor, or can be read by changing the extension to .txt
4. If there are 4 values,or 8 values, it supports ADR. Otherwise, it does not support it.
No e.g. G02 22428494.340, space, 3164.750, space, 28.700
Yes e.g. G02 22428494.340, 19532684.629, space, 3164.750, space, 28.700
There are other methods such as installing Google's Logging app, but the above is the easiest
If anyone with S10 Exynos or Note10 Exynos (plus models are ok as well as it is the same processor) could confirm that this is or is not the case, I would highly appreciate it!
Thank you

Hi, on my k20 pro slow motion video recording is not working for 120/240 fps both on 720/1080p. But it works flawlessly when recording at 960fps. Its a brand new phone purchased 2 days ago. What can be the possible reason for this ?
There's option to select which region (timeframe) you want to play slow, in the player/gallery. Have you defined the region?

Hey everyone,
since the Xperia 5 ii is officially announced: why the Xperia 5 ii has slomo video support in 4k and the 1 ii does not?
If I read the technical details correctly, both phones have the identical 3 cameras. [emoji23]
That means for me: it's only a software thing.
Does anyone have more information about that?
Cheers

Why is the refresh also higher on the 5 ii screen?

The snapdragon 865 can't run at 120hz a 4k resolution

Imho, i prefer a display with a higher dpi and resolution than a higher refresh rate, I don't spend time scrolling menu as a zombie to try to see how fluid it is :silly:
Ah ok, makes sense! Yes I like 4k and would prefer that over 120Hz

Same. I use Sony 4k phones since 2016. [emoji28]

still may be possible for them to add it as the screen isnt 4k all the time, it runs below that, only when viewing 4k content it comes on, either that or they could increase the motion reduction blur to maybe 120 Hz.
