Guys,
Previously I flush my ROM and Kernal with Overcome. Then I want to try out with something new. I went to download mode, open up odin, then the ID:Com shows nothing at all. Tried with 2 laptops, result negative.
Can anyone help me to give some clue how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
Did you try with a different USB cable?
i found out the problem. it is because the pc need to be install with kies first. Thanks

While I cant get the hour of my life back... Thank you IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a problem... my galaxy s doesn boot up...wheni try to go into recovery it doesn t work... so i tried to go into download mode and it works... the only solution woould be to flash a new ROM via Odin but i have a problem... when i connect the phone via USB my computer doesn t recognizes the phone (i tried on several) so what can be the problem...?
ps: i tried to close the antivirus but the problem persists...
PLS help!

hey man i did this on 3 different computers... trust me...
Try changing the USB cable.

Bro ha very short time ago had the same problem when I tried to install a ROM via Odin, the solution was to send the mobile phone for warranty.I tried a jig and nothing my mobile was dead. So i think this is only solution. Sorry about you

my samsung galaxy tab p1000l was brick, managed to recover the device.
Now when I try to blink, latch on Odim always segunte message: SetupConnection. How should I proceed? already changed the computer, installed the kies again. and no longer know what do do more. help me please
First you should post this in Q&A section or the general section.
And check if kies is running in the system tray if so exit it then try again because sometimes kies block Odin . and you don't have to install kies just install the drivers and connect the tab to be identified then try Odin again.

and update java.
I had the same problem. I tried to solve it several ways. At the end I could solve it, with this thread: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20382688 If I remember well you only can get it work in linux.

And later i decided to try some custom roms..
I have CWM Recovery installed
I have rooted the device....
then i installed the S'Periance rom...
Now i want to sell my mobile so i want to get back to the stock rom....
I need help on how to get back to the stock rom (please give detailed Instruction
P.S :- When i connect the mobile to the computer the ODIN does not recognize it...
Any help is highly appreciated!!!

Are you putting the phone in download mode? Hold volume down and home, then turn the phone on, then connect by USB. Odin should detect the phone now.

Yeah i even tried that but its of no use...
The odin won't recognize even if its in download mode!!!

Install Samsung Lies so your computer recognizes your phone, then never use it for anything. Then put the phone in download mode and try Odin again.

There is some problem with ur pc only I see as Odin will recognise ur device be it on any ROM. Now what may be the problem with your Pc.
1. Administrator rights not granted to odin.
2. Drivers not properly installed.
3. Windows USB drivers not installed properly.
4. USB drive not working (least possible)
Try running Odin AS ADMIN. Maybe it works.

hello, if the computer doesnt recognize the phone the problem seems to be in the drivers. Uninstall kies and drivers (control panel> programs), then download kies again, reboot computer and try to connect the phone. [if you have a custom rom is natural kies dont recognize it].
When appears the information of USB connection, switch the storage and see if it lets computer access the SD.
If this works, you can use ODIN, if not try this
If nothing works and you have access to another computer try to install the kies there and do everything there to see if work.

Hey, what happen when you go to download mode??
If nothing is showing, then it might be the invisible download mode(thats what they say ).

First check your usb cable and port. Then
Try to flash miui by fastboot. If you don't know search google.
If it doesn't help then try EDL mode. If it works then tell me.
