I have 3 Bluetooth devices paired to my phone. They all autoconnect when available.
This is great for two of them, but the third I would like to only connect when I choose it. Anyone know a way to accomplish this?

Hi,
looking for some help. I have my sgs paired with the stereo in my car and they connect no problem. However, it automatically activates the PHONE bt profile and the MEDIA bt profile. I don't want the media profile active. So each time, I have to wait for them to connect, then go thought a few levels of system menus to find the bt pairing to the car and then turn of the media profile.
Anyone know how to make the change persistent?

Apparently the bluetooth stack is heavily modified, so we need CyanogenMod. Hopefully that will help.
Hi,
With my previous android phone I was able to switch on bluetooth and it would automatically connect to the bluetooth hands free of my car, but with this phone i have to go in settings and click on the hands free, which is annoying.
Anyone having similar issues and solutions?
Thanks
No sir mine connects automatically once it paired to my car stereo. Maybe you need to delete your old phone from the stereo settings. I believe it only stores up to 2 devices simultaneously from its memory. Try it.

Bit of a weird one. What is the number of active Bluetooth connection you can have? I currently have 2. One for my hands free in car and other for my android watch. But I want to add a third now
Is it possible all 3 active at once?
Cheers

I don't have the 3rd Bluetooth item yet
I've had Bluetooth speaker (media only), hands free from my car, and my watch. As long as they are different profiles I think it will be OK.
Edit: obviously my car only had the phone routed through it when the speaker was connected, or at least I assume (phone showed both connected, no media was playing in the car though, and the speaker was in my house so I'm not sure)
So every single time I connect my Pixel 2 XL to AA I get the typical "allow access for messages" as if it was my first pairing of the phone to my radio in my car. Every time. So why does AA seem to remove the Bluetooth pairing of my phone to my car radio? Quite annoying

Contact Google support....they may help.
They had me go through a few things that were causing me some pain.
My issues are not solved but at least they tried.
