I have an AT&T Galaxy S5 that's running on 4.4.2. It hasn't been rooted and I want to update it to Lollipop. However, I don't have any service, nor an AT&T Sim card, so I can't do the OTA update. I've read that I can download a rom file that has the Lollipop update and flash it using odin. I can't find any links to download an unmodified rom.
I don't plan on rooting my phone, so that's not an issue. If someone can help me find an update file for ATTGS5, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm using an AT&T Note 3 for T-Mobile. I believe when 4.4 first came out I did not want to update so I froze the AT&T Software Update, however I now want to update OTA from 4.3 to 4.4.4. How do I re-enable the software update OTA? I tried doing a factory reset thinking it would recover it however it didn't. Whenever I go to Settings>General>About Device and tap Software Update nothing happens. I also tried using Samsung Kies 3 to update however it says I'm not the latest firmware, 4.3. Which I believe is not???
Any help is appreciated to update from 4.3 to latest android.
Thank you!
Found the answer to my question.
Use Odin.

Hi, i would like to ask, i have a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A AT&T and im using it out of America (im living in Indonesia), and i cant receive the latest updates. So i would like the links for all the updates especially the Lollipop OS, also if i download the lollipop OS Zip do i need to install the other or previous updates or i can just install it right away?
More Info: My phone is not rooted
If you are NOT INTERESTED in rooting your device, but just want the straight-up Lollipop release (including the current boot loader which will NOT allow you to downgrade!)
Use ODIN to push all required OTA, in order.
- NCE to NG3
- NG3 to OA1
- OA1 to OC4
You can get the 4.x OTA zip files from links in first post in this thread
You can get the 5.x OTA zip file and more information how-to from this thread.
Hello, I bought my S6 Edge from AT&T unlocked to use outside US, it is stock and it is not rooted, OCE firmware. I can't get the update I guess because I am not using an AT&T sim card... Could someone guide me through the process of what file download and how to update manually. Thanks a lot for your help...

If you are rooted right now you will not be able to get ota updates. The only way to update is to go through odin and update or flash a rom with the newest update or unroot your device and then update.
I'd like to answer your second question but I would like some clarification on the question.
And the update to 6.0 could be from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or even longer. It depends on you carrier and samsung of course.
The phone is the international variant 920c dual sim
I have not rooted yet but will love to do it.
If marshmalow is near them i will wait
No rooted phones of Samsung will receive OTA updates. Unroot by flashing the stock rom with ODIN and look for OTA. Or else, download latest stock firmware from samobile or similar websites and update with ODIN. Then re-root if you want.
I have a galaxy s5 that is not activated and would like to update to the latest stock, non rooted android version, which I believe is 5.0. I found a tutorial here:
http://www.droidviews.com/install-rooted-lollipop-on-att-galaxy-s5-sm-g900a/
that provides the lollipop firmware (Via the mirror, other link is broken).. However this doesn't work from 4.4.2.
I have been unable to find the 4.4.2->4.4.4 update. Does anyone know where to find this?
If this isn't possible, what are my other options to get to stock 5.0 version.
I was able to find them all from the following, https://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=27720
