Well, it's time I start working on putting together themes for dxTop so that non-root users can use them. I'm looking for theme authors to volunteer up there themes. I'm only looking to start with themes that will work with the 2 tabs in dxTop (or you can offer up additional assets) and have 100% of the Launcher skinned including the menu icons. Check out the dxTop site for a screen shot of the two tab layout.
If you want to give me permission to convert your theme to work with dxTop, please post here with a link to your theme's thread. Also, include how you want to be credited in the description on the market.
I only plan on doing a few to start. But I will be releasing source for building a themed for dxTop.

This would be an easy way to skin dxTop.

The deep black theme caused a lot of lag on my phone. When dragging from screen to screen, the icons were leaving a trail behind them. Once I uninstalled it, everything was back to normal
EDIT: Nevermind apparently its the new update to dxtop, not the theme. It started happening again, even after a reboot
how deep does the dxtop support for theming go? Is it only the icons on the desktop etc or does it extend to pattern lock buttons etc?

yo that gucci theme is sick....if this gets on dxtop imma buy dxtop i haven't yet just cause i've been playing with all 3 and not too sure which i want but this gucci theme....that'll be enough to make my decesion.

Question:
I currently have the Rusty Metal theme installed through flashing the update.zip. If I switched to say Deep Black through the supported theme (not through update.zip), and didn't like it. What would I get if I switched back to default? The original stock theme, or Rusty Metal same as it was before?

Going back to original will use the stock resources so if you have a rooted theme installed it will show.

Correct, it can't change the status bar.
It's cool using the dxTop them in conjunction with a regular theme.
IE, I'm using the Glossy minimalist dxTop theme with the "Glossuite" competition theme, and it's cool.
Can't wait for more themes to be ported to dxTop.
Can you pleeeeease put up CARBON GLOW.

Its in the works might release sunday. Customize default icons on photoshop with burberrry pattern but not too much it so they don't disappear on the desktop lol

hmm, i'm actually really new to all of this, the only way i know how to apply this is with metamorph. connect your phone to your computer then download the zip. place the zip in the folder named "AndroidThemes" i believe. Then disconnect your phone and open up metemorph. select unzip/extract new theme then select the HelloKittyBattery and then press apply all... reboot your phone and you should have the battery.
(btw my gf is running Liberty 1.5 and it worked for that rom, i have not tested it on others :\ )
i love the bow, does it change as the battery dies? and i noticed on her dock she has the icon as well...would you by any chance have HK icons too?

yes the bow turns into the mac hello kitty bow as it dies.. i'm not at home but at work but here's an example of what it turns into.

Thanks!! ya the theme is one of the themes that is on Liberty. It's called PinkLife I believe. I resized a hello kitty bow and made it her launcher button, the background i resized for her and it doesn't scroll (but messes up when you flip it sideways) and the clock/date is Clockr.
i'm currently working on making her own pink theme since she doesn't like some of the glossy glass wifi notifications and things, so i'll post it on here when i'm done... also when you plug your phone in there should be a little heart show up on the bow, it was the only thing i could think of to at least give notification that it's plugged in lol.
how cute !! i always wondered what the heck that lil thing was lmao !!! i've been looking HIGH and low for a cute hello kitty theme but ur smart just using the pinklife theme. there's another "girly" theme out there, but it's too Lisa Frank for me.
but thanks again. and if she's interested, i have a blog going that has TONS of wallpaper. if u want, have her dm me her email or something and i can send her an invite to it. i also follow some other blogs that always have a bunch of goodies as well !

Here's a link, when i added Liberty none of the themes worked for dl so i had to download them myself then transfer the theme to my phone from my computer.

After updating the theme store on my Galaxy S6 Edge+, I lost all my downloaded themes. These include the ironman, avenger themes, etc. How can the themes not show up on my account? Am I missing something? Any help would be really appreciated....

I have the same probleme and i will try to tell you wath i doing my self
1 ) I going to application gestion and I stop and desactived the theme
2) I'm going to the theme store in the same application gestion and I desactived all also the updating and I see again the version 1.01.23 and not the 1.0.38
But you have to downlon again the advengers themes

Well after doing what you mentioned, whenever I am trying to go to theme store, its asking me to update to the latest version...
I updated to the latest version of the themes store. Then, you do have to find the themes you had, and they will say they cost money, but if you click into them, there will only be a download button, and it will let you download without having to pay again.

Thanks fine, but there are certain themes that are not available in the theme store now. Like the avenger series. But, I had all the themes in my account. So what do I do now?

When I go to theme store and then to "MENU" there is no "BUY" option, but there is a "PURCHASED" option. From there i have updated all my purchases. But still under the "ALL" option I do not find any of the avengers themes....
Weird, if u logged into same GMAIL account where once you download it , it have to be there ! You can find pas2001 post Avengers Themes and add then manually then.

Even pas2001 had missing his avengers theme after the update. I think samsung purposely wants to remove the avengers themes off your account.

I have the exact same problem. I had been missing all of the avengers themes. I had them all ironman and hulk etc....ALL of them. After the update I have lost every single one and I can't get them back. I'm so angry!! If anyone finds the answer please post it.

Tried everything, with the same gmail id....but nothing seems to be working....
Happened to me each time i visit Google Play using Edge 6+, so now I get my apps from elsewhere, cuz I had to do Android Recovery 3 times within 3 weeks, each time all my data get wiped out cuz gotta do factory reset. I am sure for 6+ phones users, each time we goto Google Play, we gave them permission to frisk our phone, takeover our phones and when we logged out from G_P_, our phone become autobots. Also I can't install MX Player. 6+ won't accept other Launchers permanently either. This phone is so disappointingly frigid. Actually I don't know why is Samsung and Google Play doing these to its loyal customers. Not only that, the video player is from the stone ages-it won't allow sequential play, so after each music video, i had to punch the play button for the next music video. My soul gets ripped everyday I am reminded I bot a bitter lemon. Oh yeah , I called up Samsung Technical Support regarding MX Player and the non sequential Play, and the unfriendly visit to Google Play, they said it's for my phone's security. Suddenly I feel my phone has become their property. I can't wait for someone to come up with a good and stable root, I can't wait to cut loose from G_P_ and Samsung's apron strings.
Samsung reply for missing marvel themes
On my first setup of the phone, i was able to install and use Samsung's own High Contrast II theme, which is the best black theme that i used until now.
I was forced to reset my phone, and after that, logging in with the same Samsung account, i was not able anymore to find that theme.
I looked into all themes of Samsung, and there is no High contrast theme there.
Can someone please upload it here?
It was free, so i guess is no issue with that.

The link doesant work it opens the theme but there it says error it.s not yet available
That URL, from post #4, if opened with Samsung Themes, it should show it ... but it seems it is not available for Romania anymore .. which is strange, as it was.
It seems that in the last week, premium theme store was launched in Romania .. and since then, this theme is not available anymre for us.
As it is a free theme ... if someone can, please post it here (i do not know what is the path where theme APK is saved ..)

I have both Samsung High Contrast
installed on my phone.
I also tried to paste link to theme here, but give same message as you stated above.
Best is to search Theme Store for
High Contrast.
Search should show 2 x themes ?
The second theme Samsung "High Contrast. Sky Black" is according to my installed themes the same theme..? as High Contrast 2
Otherwise
Oxy_OS_Black by Lucas Kendi (free on Samsung Themes) is very close to High Contrast.
Just note this theme changes you navebar icons (quite nice)

Can someone pls post the pre-installed themes that come with firmware 126? Not sure what happened after rooting, but I guess the new themes where in the data partition and rooting deleted them. I'm particularly interested in the dark theme with gold accents, home screen background was a black graphic with particles and icons where dark with orange/gold accents as well. Looked great on the OLED display, but unfortunately that thema is not available through the theme manager... many thanks!

It's called Glitter theme.
I'm on non-Pro 10 with .125 firmware - I can see it in my themes app but can't find the actual .hwt to extract sorry.. the only files available to grab are cached wallpaper.

Edit ; I think it's pulling the icons from the other theme included in that first link.. the one with the black background and gold icons. You could apply that theme and then just change the wallpaper to the one I posted

Great, thanks! That's what I was looking for.. Will have a look at those icons, but for now I need to figure out why theme manager won't switch themes at all... weird... but a man needs his hobby's, right?

So did you fix it, I rooted and no themes as well, I just want the black themes especially when going to the settings I hate the white themselves on it

Hi! Yeah it worked out in the end... needs a little attentiontion though... First get the download the file in the post above here, these are some cool themes just to have.
Also get the background image posted above here as well, that is one of the nicer black backgrounds found in the 'glitter' theme that was on your phone before root...
Then follow the steps in this post and get the needed archive in the OP in that thread...
Hope this helps! The trick is to really get the file and folder permissions exactly like that post, otherwise no theme will be applied...

It works, made a thread about theme missing when you rooted the phone, one guy tknguyencsu commented and provided a step by steps guide and it is idiot proof and works well.
