Just got my note 5. I noticed that when recording a video or using the voice recorder, for the first 2 seconds of the recording, there is a little noise static (white noise) then after the 2 second mark, it goes away, becomes clear. Its like the Note 5 took 2 seconds to check the background noise and then adjusted itself to suppress the white noise. I'm trying to see if this happens with every Note 5. If you can, please record a video for 10 seconds in a quiet room. Then play it back in full volume. Do you get this static noise for the first 2 seconds, then it goes away? Thanks!

I've recently sent a phone in due to pink tint camera and because it also had this problem where if I recorded a video there would be a little "shh" static sound in intervals in the video audio.
I got a replacement it didn't have this problem when I first got it but recently when I recorded a silent video I could hear the "shh" static sound again. Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem?
Is it just me or its normal with the Note 5. When recording a video or using the voice recorder, the Note 5 will literally record my hand movement. Even if I brush slightly with my hand, or slight touch the phone while recording, that movement gets pickup by the microphone. Never happened with my old phone. Feels like the Note 5 microphones are way too sensitive. Even if I slightly lift my finger, the microphone picks it up. I have to have a tight grip on the phone so it does not pick it up. Normal guys?
Hello. I have encountered a weird problem, when trying to record 1080 or higher resolution video. From time to time video recording stops after 4:01 min of recording if screen timeout is set to two min, and stops after 2:16 if timeout is set to 15 sec.
Interesting thing, If I set screen to always on, the camera doesn't stop recording. So, the camera app obviously shuts down after two minutes of filming not being able to hold the screen on.
Did someone fell in such a problem and knows the reason of it?
One more thing, if wifi is enabled, video recording doesn't stop, even if screen off is set. Tested many times. Stock rom and exkernel
Is anyone having issues with mic recording? I'm using LOS 14.1 and audio recordings are noisy, the noise stops minutes after the start of the record. I've attached a 5 sec sample.
Same situation in stock 6.0 ROM. Am I the only one affected?

I have an issue while recording using screen record. The mic option is either on or off. And if you set it to on the surrounding sound will be capture in the recorded video.
Is there is a way to make the sound played by the phone to be captured only instead of recording all around.
I have test iPhone screen recorded and it was great for the sound.
Can any one advice/suggest the solution.
