Installation
How to install this ROM in five easy steps:
1) Get the ROM, Bootloader and Modem. Activate USB debugging within Developer Options (Android settings).
2) Without performing any wipe, flash using Odin v3.10 Modem (Option CP) and bootloader (Option BL). Let the phone boot normally.
3) Perform a reset (apply wipe to data, dalvik and system).
4) Flash the ROM.
5) Be patient, it could take around five minutes until the system starts.

I do not recommend root KK, may have bootloop, better update the lollipop and then root TWRP

here it doesnt and i followed carefully all the steps
Tried flashing this on my Sm-a300y and all went well until it started to optimize apps. It gets up to around 30 apps and then freezes and turns off. Any idea how to get this working for my model a3.

The problem is the Lte signal, I don't founded solution
i try now it on sm300fu, i have extracted and flashed from stock rom modem and boot.
after flashing rom i have 1 automatically turn off after bootlogo,
after ever automatically turn off when the phone make the dalvik of application. how to resolve it?

How to install:
-You Need unlocked bootloader and CMW or variant on your device.
-first install a V20x KDZ variant.
-install SuperUser and CMW using a AIO tool
-reboot to recovery
-Factory reset
-wipe /data /cache and dalvik cache
-go to your SD card, find the .ZIP of the ROM, and flash it!...
-After that fix permissions...
-Let te ROM sit for 10 mins, put your Google acount in, reboot, after reboot start intalling al your apps, when you done reboot and fix permissions... and you're ready to go..
PD: most of this methods are not needed at all, you can flash this rom with your normal method, this is only the method that i use normally to flash any rom!

PD: I deleteded Google music and DSP Manager, even with the stock Music APP the sound is a lot more louder and richer than the stock based rom, i must say it sound almost like my 5th gen ipod classic without external DAC....
Also, it doesn't have Google now, just delete the stock Google search app, and download Google search from play...
this rom is based on V20C with stock kernel, also custom stock based kernels will work, i have tested, PH85, Iodaks and EternityProject and all work great so far...
I will try to upload the ROM with some changes this week... Without the Chinese apps, and some other funcionalities...
If you have battery drain and don't use Gtalk, donwload "DisableService" and stop it from the app, also there is some other service that you can use, also use "greenify" and "Root Uninstaller" to uninstall some system Apps, and re-install them like User Apps to make "greenify" work on that apps...

Glad that you made this thread, it's a great rom, have been using it for a week now.
Was myself planning to make this thread but you beat me to it.
Apart from all the features mentioned in the OP there are other features too such as using the volume keys to wake the device, I have stopped using my power key to lock the device since I installed this Rom.
The original thread also has mods for improved gaming and transparent status bar but I was not able to download them even after registering on their website. Maybe some one from here can try it.
All in all a great rom and perfectly stable. I am keeping an eye on the original thread for the upcoming updates to this already awesome rom.

battery in this rom is almost the same as stock on my device, 14 hours total with 3 hours of screen... Maybe it can reach 4 and a half hours of constant use, i'm using Iodaks kernel on it...

There's a problem with contacts not showing in messaging and call logs, just the phone number. Had this issue before and thought a data wipe would fix. On this ROM sadly not I can "add" the existing number via the log/message and it will show, anyone got a more permanent solution?

Successfully flashed this rom....I dont know why its not as fast as stock...Maybe because it still got the bloatwares...
Theme is nice, lockscreen effect is nice...Qslide is working....EcoMode also working....Battery seems quite good

You need Latest recovery installed, latest bootloader on your phone and Samsung encription disabled in /Data partition

Reboot in recovery then click on "WIPE" and "Format data" and type "yes" this will erase all of your data

How to flash
If u r all ready rooted and have twrp
Go to direcly for flash rom
Wipe data / system / cache / dalvik
And flash rom
It will take 7 to 10 minutes for boot rom
So seat back and take a bear
Or if u have note rooted and 1st time going to flash rom
Refer this below method
Recommended installation when we come from 6.0.1 MM or stock nougat rom:
1 - download TWRP (herolte) for S7 Flat
or TWRP (hero2lte) for S7 Edge
2 - download Odin v3.12.3
3 - download no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.2.zip file and then copy to the memory card EX-SDCARD
4 - activate developer mode on the current system and turn on the option 'enable OEM' - VERY IMPORTANT!
5 - reboot phone mode to 'download mode' and flash using Odin (position AP) TWRP recovery [ATTENTION you must turn off autoreboot options in odin and after flash manually reboot the phone into recovery mode]
6 - go to options and select wipe data format - write "yes" then after finishing wipe necessarily restart phone to recovery mode
[ATTENTION this operation will clear the memory of the phone without touching the data contained on the ex-scdard]
7 - confirm "allow modifications" if recevory ask
8 - flash in the recovery file no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.2.zip
9 - reboot phone to recovery mode
10 -confirm "allow modifications"
11 - go to wipe option and do all wipes: data, cache, system , dalvik-chace
12 - install rom from zip
13 - restart phone and wait for system booting.
14 - there is no need to upload the bootloader for Nougat 7.0! we remain on the current version 6.0.1!

All I have tested
What doesn't ?
-On a small amount of devices, touchscreen is not working properly (touchscreen driver issue)--> fixed on test version
-Reading mode does not turn off if selected. You should reboot or manually move lower slider to left.
-Some apps does not illuminate notification led such as missed call and others. This is a beta base bug, not due to port.
-If you are not familiar with MIUI, do some research before posting a bug, the thread is plenty of reported bugs that are miui settings related.

First boot takes 10 minutes

Reboot to recovery and flash ROM, no wipes needed
If face bugs, wipe data and install again
PD: ota service are not working properly so, if you download from ota you should install manually once the app reboot to recovery, which means you have to install downloaded rom from internal sd card/OTA_updates folder

Yeah, some people might not want to use root and gapps or things mentioned in the OP.
I think you would get a greater response from the users if a variant like that existed.

Fix for stock MIUI portrait mode: if you are going to use mi account, login into it before install this fix. You can find on app ota_updates/addons
Installation
If you are on stock Pie do not install this Rom, otherwise you can brick your phone. See how to downgrade to stock oreo.
Coming from any rom
1-Back up all your data including efs
2-Wipe data and dalvik/Art
3-Flash Rom zip. first boot takes about 15-20 minutes
4-When system boots up, wait 5 minutes to do initial configuration
5-You will feel system "laguiss" during initial setup, after you complete, wait 5 minutes more and reboot
6-Flash MIUI portrait fix ONLY after log into your Mi account ( skip thius step if you do not use Mi account)
Enjoy MIUI
If system does not boot after 25 minutes:
Fastboot flash userdata with command

Use 3rd Party Downloader Application (recommended : IDM for Android and Internet Download Manager (i know its not free, but have 30 days trial) for Windows)
Close the page if the download is locked and handled by that 3rd Party Download App
enjoy high speed

Try flashed again userdata and reboot. Wait until 35 minutes and report please

To Anyone have 16GB storage issue
- Flash the rom first, no matter what userdata are you using
- complete the setup
- Reboot to Fastboot your device (Hold power button > Reboot > Bootloader)
- if you have stock tissot userdata, follow this
1. open fastboot rom (folder, make sure you're already extract the zip and zip)(make sure you have download that)
2. open images folder, then find userdata
3. move that to ADB Installation File
4. type this > fastboot flash userdata userdata.img < (just type the fastboot flash userdata userdata.img)
5. Reboot, by typing fastboot reboot
6. check that, if still not match with your device variant (ex : shows 32GB, but your device is 64GB variant), reflash again
- if you have Mi 5X Userdata, follow steps number 4,5,6 but change the userdata file with your own Mi 5X Userdata
