Screen Flash after pressing a combination of key - Android One (First-Generation) Cross-Device Genera

Device- MicroMax Android One
Today, I noticed screen flashed when I pressed the following combination of keys.
1. Turn off your phone
2. Press volume up key then volume down then power button.
( do it in the order)(keep pressing the volume up key and press volume down key, keep holding volume up and down keys and press power key)
3. Now keep pressing three keys for 5 seconds.
4. Remove your fingers
5. Screen will flash after 1-2 seconds.
What does this combination of keys do? Apart from flashing the screen.

Cannot Clear Storage

Can't clear storage. The button is "greyed out." Any suggestions ??
Sorry .. Found an answer to my question .. It worked. This is what I did.
Hard resetting the Nexus One with the Hard button factory data reset. (volume down and power button) The device must be powered OFF to perform this reset. If the device is on, turn it off. (If the device is not responsive and does not turn off, remove the battery and re-insert it.)
While holding down the volume button on the side of the N1, press the power button briefly while maintaining the volume button pressed in for around 5-10 seconds.
You should be presented with a menu that allows for: Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock. You can release the volume button at this time.
Select Clear storage with the volume button up and down, then press and release the power button to make the selection. It will ask you to confirm this decision. Press the yes button using the volume up.

[Q] How to get to "FORCED UPLOAD by KEY PRESSING"

Hi,
I have an Orange phone that does not have the 3-button feature.
But, if I switch on with the power button, no other keys pressed.
When the first boot, white graphics, screen appears, take your fingers off the power button.
1) Now press Vol-UP and Home together for 1 second.
2) Take your fingers off the buttons for 1 second.
3) Now press Vol-UP and Home together for 1 second.
4) Take your fingers off the buttons for 1 second.
repeat 1+2 until the following appears:
"FORCED UPLOAD by KEY PRESSING"
Is this only on Orange phones, or is it also present on phones where the normal 3-button feature works?

cannot enter bootloader mode

Hi XDA,
I follow the instructions to enter bootloader mode. After switching off the phone I press power and volume down buttons at the same time. The phone wakes up and boots up normally. I've tried different periods of holding the buttons.
Please help.
First hold volume down, then hold the power button.
When it begins to vibrate instantly release the powerbutton and keep the volume down pressed until you get into fastboot

he repeated as often as necessary for you to run the shortcut

Key combination for when things go bad

Press menu + vol down + power.
Hold down all three buttons until the tablet reboots and the screen momentarily goes off, then after about one second the Samsung and Android logos appear in white.
Now we are at the point where the tablet screen has just gone dark. You have less than one second to:
1) If you release the power button now, the tablet simply reboots.
2) If you keep holding the buttons the tablet enters Download mode.
3) If you very quickly, VERY quickly, press VOL UP, while still holding down the power + menu, the tablet enters the recovery.
I have not found a way to switch it off other than entering recovery and then selecting reboot/power off.
Hard reset only is actually just hold POWER + VOL DOWN

Note 5 volume button broke stuck in safemode.

Hi my volume button down is broken and everytime it boots it's in safemode.
Whenever trying to access recovery it normally boots up when buttons are pressed.
Booting into download mode freezes it, I have to do a hard reboot by pressing all the buttons.
Volume/power button work fine when in use.
I've opened up my phone to disconnect my volume button it stills boots up in safemode.
I've tried 2 new roms still in safemode.
Hello brother,
Even you flash 2 new roms still booting up safe mode, bad seen
i feel your volume down button was keep pressed maybe,,,,,maybe (it should be b coz of dust or something else).
to be confirm is that your volume button broken or pressed follow the steps below
