Camera destination to USB-OTG - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm thinking about to buying Sandisk Ultra USB-OTG and I wonder is it possible to change camera destination folder to USB-OTG? I'm shooting lot of photos in the festivals so would be nice if photos will go directly to flash drive.
Thank you.

Camera storage location - Z1 CM11

Hi,
I recently installed CM11 on my Z1. I have one SD card and want to save pictures in that card. I have Google camera, and cannot find where to set this app to save pictures that I took, in SD card. I tried another camera app, and also cannot choose.
Does anyone know how can I change this setting?
Try using focal camera app. It's better than those and I belive that it does allow saving to the sdcard

Slow pic capture

Stock rooted ZV6. No kind of camera mod. Pics are being saved to External SDcard and is set to Auto. Also takes pretty long when I change storage to internal. HDR is auto.
Any advice to make the camera take pics more quickly?

How to Change Photo Number Series for Z3+

Hi, I am using Z3+ default camera and it is saving photos in the internal memory with naming starting "DSC_0001". When I move all the internal memory pics to SD Card, agains the series starting with "DSC_001". If I move again the pics to SD card, I am getting duplicate name conflict.
How to change the default naming of the stock camera?

Click to collapse
I have contacted SONY Customer Care through Online Chat. They said that it is not possible to change Photo Naming series for Stock Camera. I am using Google Camera for overcoming the issue. But, Stock camera having good features than Google Camera.

P20 Pro Depth Map

Hi there,
When faced with the task of factory resetting my p20 pro, I remembered that I have taken many photos with the apature setting. I want to make sure that I don’t lose the depth information on the photo (the huawei gallery app recognizes that the photo was taken with apature and then let’s you adjust the strength of the bokeh effect and focus point, then saving your results as a new photo). I have some questions about this I was hoping you guys could help me with:
1. As far as I understand, the depth map is encoded into the meta data of the photo - no extra files. Is this correct?
2. Is the depth map a standard or a Huawei own version? Ie. could I reapply the bokeh effect with third party software (not the type that uses a 2d photo, the type that uses the actual depth map)?
3. I back up all my photos to google photos. Is it then enough to wipe the phone with the google photos backup as my only source? Would those photos contain the depth map and if so, how can I then edit the photo using the depth map like in huawei’s gallery app?
4. If not, what are my options to keep the apature photos with the depth map for use after the factory reset?
Many thanks for any help you guys can give!
Most simple thing you could do is to copy one image to PC, then delete the original one from the device and then copy&paste the picture from PC back to the phone gallery and try if aperture (bokeh) works.
