So no matter what theme I use, my call button in my dialer is always green. I have tried many many themes and while everything else gets themed, the dam call button is always green. Does anybody else experience this? Is there a certain way to apply a theme or something? I always reboot after setting a theme just in case.
I'm on Sprint btw.
Is there any possibility to theme the Button myself? Where is it located?

Hi everyone ,need some help hope I placed it in right place.well I use open home and lt.bove it. Before I down load the themes from market place I go and look at theme on here first.but when I down load the theme and apply it ,everthings there exept the background of the dailer buttons .like when I use fade to blue .ect, the color of the dailer buttons don't change colors, stays the same .is it because my phone not rooted ? Let me know man glad for open home and everyone makeing themes and stuff thanks.
The open home(and the others) will only change whats on your home screen. It will not change anything else on the phone. If you want to do that you need to root your phone and load a theme that way.
hey thanks for the info.i thought thats why .will have to root it soon but happy with all of whats been coming out !!!!!!!!!!!!thanks
I just stumbled upon this. This app will restart your notification bar so that all of your soft buttons show up in the notification bar without rebooting your phone, after you apply a theme from the "theme chooser". If you flash alot of themes like I do, then you know how much a pain in the a$$ it is to always have to reboot. Now you don't have too Hit the thanks button if you like it.

Luckily mine changes automatically so I don't need this
Hey all,
So, I'm running Bad Boyz ROM v1.3, Android 4.3. The task/notification/status bar (I never remember the correct nomenclature) is generally transparent or black on home screens, and generally black when in other apps. However, during certain instances, like when going into settings, the bar changes to this grey gradation/textured look. This same look also pops up briefly whenever the home key is pressed, even when the phone is already on a home screen. I know that its really minor and inconsequential, but man does it ever bug the CRAP out of me. Anybody know what I can do to fix this, or can point me to a how to or available MOD? I'd appreciate it.
This is gonna end up sound like a stupid easy fix, but I have searched everywhere and cannot find a way to change the look of the icons.
For one, the button on the left change from "Recents" to some stupid "Flip between two apps you used" that is getting really frustrating.
And two, the icons of the buttons themselves changed somehow. How does one change it back to the regular ones? I am using Resurrection Remix rom and Nova Launcher

Have you changed themes? I'm running the minimal theme and have the same softkeys. Themes will change them. As far as them being switched, I haven't ran Resurrection yet, but there should be something in the settings to flip-flop and edit them I'm sure. Have you changed anything in there?

I guess it's happening for the specific theme you're using as I can see you navigation bar, you seemed to be using a theme, right? If so then it's a normal thing. To switch between styles of navbars of your choice use SoftKeyZ
Thank you for the reply guys. I am indeed using a theme but these styles showed up randomly, days after I installed the theme. I even went as far as installing a completely new theme and they remain. I tried the SoftKeyz app and even that app can't seem to change them. I wouldn't even mind these so much if the left key was the recents and not a switch between last two apps used.
Installed OTA yesterday. Anyone else not able to change dialer keypad from the mental hospital white? I would prefer a dark dialer keypad, which was available in Sense 6. The only option under personalize is default (white). Initially the same was true with the keyboard, but after changing themes in the new theme settings, I got other options for the keyboard that were part of those themes. Still only default for dialer keypad, and no theme change would change it either, so regardless of theme chosen I still only get white.
I looked around the forums and saw that some had the same problem with sense 7 ROMs running on M8 and M9. There was a workaround by uninstalling the dialer app, and then updating it or simply reverting back to sense 6 dialer, but I've no option to do that under the app (just force stop, no uninstall).
Kind of at a dead end in figuring it out. Don't care for the bloat of 3rd party dialer/phone/messaging apps, but might have to try one. I'm not into rooting or mods on my main communication device, and so this phone has never been anything but stock (except for apps available in the store, naturally). I did have Apex launcher as my app launcher at the time of OTA, but that should not have thrown a wrench into the update (at least I don't think it should have). My next step is to factory reset to see if that resolves it...which I'm not eager to do.
Any thoughts?
Use the themes app and download a new keyboard theme.
Not all themes come with keyboard recolouring...

Thanks for the reply. I tried that. None of the themes had any affect on the dialer keypad -- still just white --, even the ones that showed in the preview to do so. The keyboard was changeable with via applying themes.
Hmmmm, if it is a Sense 7 based Sense 6 ROM , it won't work, AFAIK the only official Sense 7 ROM is Stock Rooted, soon will also have Bad Boyz 4.0.
Try the stock rooted, then report back please!
I'm not running a ROM, I'm newly OTA updated with Marshmallow, so I'm stoock Sense 7. I guess I'm wondering if what I described (only white phone dialer keypad) is normal behavior for Sense 7. Like I said, I can't change the color of the phone dialer keypad from white, either in settings or themes. If this is correct behavior for stock sense 7, that's OK, and I'll explore other options by way of a phone app.
Again, thanks.
It doesn't seem like normal behavior, I'm on Stock rooted MM...that is literally just changing the theme for me.

Got it to work. Don't know what the problem is. Some themes that show a change to the dialer in the preview do change it when applied, some do not. Now to find a way to edit the theme and retain the change to the dialer.
Thanks for the help.
Same problem same solution. I've only got one theme that was actually able to change the dialer colour to black "darkside" but I hate everything else about it. Could you suggest any other
