recovery downloaded form twrp not work at all
That recovery is for G531M (Grandprimevelte) it uses a Marvell processor (I built TWRP 3.0.0 for G531M with that source)
its working with some gliches
Has anyone compiled TWRP for G531H - Android 5.1.1?
Hi,
I'm trying to install TWRP on my G531H. The file above is wrong, after flashing with ODIN, the recovery mode reports only >recovery is not seandroid enforcing< means, if I'm not misstaking it, this file is totally wrong. TeamWindows is not supporting the G531H and I'm not used to linux and therefore I'm not able to compile it from the sources.
It would be great if someone could publish or send me the compiled TWRP file for a G531 on Android 5.1.1
Or is there another device what is similiar to the G531H so that I can use its TWRP-file? I've checked the different forums, but I could not find anything what solved my problem.
Thank you and regards
Stefan
Update:
It seems I was not searching enough. It's here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/general/master-thread-samsung-galaxy-grand-t3513689
Update2:
Hurray, it works! Unfortunately it's compiled in Russian language. If you want to change the language, press the right button above the slider.

Very nice
Well afaik twrp already builds fine? So it shouldn't be such a massive step atleast now...
Thanks for working on it, appreciated.
If u need any help just let me know. I can build(8x4,2Ghz) + up/download fast for u guys(150mbit/s) and my device is ready for all the tests
Hope we see an overclocked kernel feature for our s7390, as BCM21654 (without the "g") should run 1,2Ghz stock, might even 1,4ghz stable.

How will the ROM flash succeed on this device? It checks if the device is a meliusltexx or melius3gxx before flash and proceed only if it finds either. OTA updates will work after you flash this rom once because it will rename the device to meliusltexx.

It's a very snappy ROM. Alot of the built in apps for mi are in a Foreign language though.
Even though I switch keyboards I still occasionally get a FC for the Android keyboard which is a little annoying.
Otherwise, nice job, keep up the good work.
