Can we program some softkeys on the keyboard. Any tweak?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a 3x4 keypad that has the Space bar and T9 Toggle buttons swapped around? Used to using a nokia which has the spacebar in the middle down the bottom.
Or does anyone know how to modify the stock one?

So I'm trying to add SwiftKey theming for the dark keyboard to a cm7 theme. I'm having trouble decompiling the apk for SwiftKey to find out how to theme the suggestions text from green to blue. Any suggestions?

I want on that's like lights up all different colors when you type each letter can someone me me a theme like that
Is it possible to theme like editing some in input. xml? or where can I edit colors? thanks!
