Help needed with HTC 802w china version - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, sorry to bother you about my problem but I'm new in this kind of work. I have this HTC 802w from my cousin and I wanted to put the european version of RUU, but when I reset to factory settings it came a chinese menu and i don't understand nothing, then I think to enter in recovery and wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition in a hope of english menu. After doing that I came stuck with the chinese logo on white background. I still can get in bootloader and recovery mode, i believe something is wipe out from booting part but like I said I'm new with stuff like that andi need some steps to follow. Thank you in advance for your help.
Because I can't put pictures in thread, I make an album in my profile, please check for info.

Hey guys, thank you for all the topics in this forum, with help from everyone I manage to unbrick the phone to stock version (I am a noob from the moment). I don't know what to do, but everyone experience something on one moment and they put the knowledge here, I read intensively for 2 day but it worthed, I will read more!
Next step, s-off, unlock, lollipop for the HTC 802w(if exist, I didn't there yet, )! I'm happy mostly because it's not my phone and I didn't want to screw up from the begining. Thank you community!
Please if you have good ideas for this phone to bring it up to date fast, tell me. I appreciate.

[Q] Random Note query

Hey guys/gals
I am seriously considering looking into putting ICS on my Note by using these forums and guides etc (I am a complete knowledgeless noob when it comes to this root/flash etc etc stuff), but I would like to know the following if someone would be kind enough to answer -
1- If I tamper with my device, and if said device ever has to go back to the network operator for repairs etc, how can I wipe everything and revert back to factory settings? is it as simple as hitting factory settings? I would not want them to refuse to service/repair/replace the device if I messed around with it. So is this reversible?
2- what is the best and most simplest way to put ICS on my n7000 if I chose to go down this route and not wait for my UK network operator (Orange) to release their own one? (maybe someone can link me to a good option?)
3- If the part 2 is done, should I get rid of it and use the operator version once they release? or stick with the one I am contemplating installing.
Sorry to be such a pain in the proverbial, would appreciate the help
Kind regards

I will try to answer in a short manner.
1. You can allways flash a stock GB or ICS no matter what you might have done to it. Atleast aslong as it is functioning properly.
2. In my opinion the best and simplest way is to flash a stock ICS through PC Oding. Here is a good guide and plenty of Stock Roms.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
3. I wouldnt get a operator version since they are usually even more bloated than samsungs stock version. And I dont see any benefits with a operator branded version.
Regards
Thank you Belfia,
I will consider this a little more, and it seems that I need to purchase a Micro SD to do all this? so that is next on my to-do list
Regards,
Barry

ROOT.
If your posting this then u haven't searched anything out here. my suggestion is use the search bar in either android development or general sections for Unlocking bootloader & increased memory.
Its a noob mistake, but rules are rules chap.
As for loss of data, u need to back it up...but u require root. Root requires a recovery system, Recovery system requires unlocked bootloader.
As for help.....find the topics u need then go for it. If you get stuck im always around. Its what i do. I get the noobs up to flashing standard which inc getting increased memory, custom roms etc.
Feel free to PM me or contact over G talk.

[Q] Stuck in the bootloader. Plz help!

Hey, as the tittle says I´m stuck in the bootloader of my semi new HTC One. :C
Well the story is that I rooted my phone 2 months ago and installed a new ROM successfully which was great. Now this week I wanted to change back to the stock version and regain my insurance and back all the original futures of my beloved phone. I did a step here with I deeply regret, I formatted my sdcard. (Note this was my first doing any rooting or stuff of that sort). So as I wanted to get the stock ROM to my phone I locked up this video from youtube by Sakitech:- "How to Unroot your HTC One, and Relock the Bootloader". I follow his steps worked well but later I realised none of the RUU files worked with my phone.
So now I´m here with no ROM installed. Can´t get access to the recovery. My phone is relocked (the rooting). Can´t find any RUU file that works for my phone, so far (because I´m from Sweden and have the Nordic version). I´m stuck in the bootloader.
Here´s a picture of it for what it´s worth:
Not allowed to post a picture because of the new user policy >.>
Please help me! If you have a solution explain it with "baby-steps" because I´m not yet experienced with these sort of things. Thank you! <3
Picture?
Can someone post the picture for me if I give the link to that person??? :/ I can send it through email or skype

Optimus L90 D405n: How Do I Unlock Bootloader?

Help with D405n bootloader and stock recovery
Ok, so I am completely new to the rooting, bootloader and recovery community, and Android in general. I was trying to unlock my bootloader, following an XDA tutorial, on how to do it on all "LG L90 varients". It was an old post, from 2014. I hard bricked my phone, waited a long time for someone to be able to help, and thankfully someone referred me to a very helpful post on how to unbrick LG L90's. So now I am unbricked, I rerooted my phone, and trying to install the Cyanogen ROM. I believe my phone still has the stock recovery and the bootloader is locked. After about an hour of searching, I found nothing helpful. So I want to know if anyone can help me. I want to unlock my bootloader and change my recovery. I don't know what I have to do first, and don't know how. Here is some info on my phone which may be helpful.
Android version: 5.0.2 (Lollipop)
Kernal version: 3.4.0+
Software version: V20a-OP1-SI
LG D405n L90
Firmware: VUK/Virgin Mobile (United Kingdom) V20a
Please reply in a noob friendly way, so I understand. Thank you.
Check this link for instructions for unlock boot loader and install custom recovery but don't use its files because you are in version 20a (android 5.02) and they maybe outdated:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2839690
Go here for updated custom recovery and check some posts down for aboot for 20a
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2826150
Don't forget to read well the posts and don't make any mistake or you may brick your phone again.
Good luck [emoji1]

I saw it before, which is how I bricked my phone, using the wrong version. However I found a v20a download on some cyanmod.pl forum, went with Cyanogen, hated it so went back to stock, lol. Anyway, thank you for the help.
Why the CM hate?
Can you pls share why did you hate it? Currently I am in process of figuring out how get custom rom on my d405n v20a, but from what you say, maybe I should stop trying. But I cannot imagine something can be worse than L90 Lollipop...

Hello! I would like to ask you for a favor. Could you pretty please explain to me how you unbricked your device the first time? I did the exact same mistake and used the wrong version in that post Now my device doesn't display anything, except when I plug it into the computer or to the charger without the battery on it. Also I see a 63,9 MB drive when I plug the phone into the pc. I believe you experienced the same things since we did the same mistake. So please help me, it's my only phone and I really want it back :crying: If it's a big and hard process, then just give me the links you used to find the instructions/solution. Thanks for your time and I count on you!

Hey, Lazgeor. I'm really sorry for the late reply. If you still have the same problem, here is the reply that I followed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61808443&postcount=9
Make sure you have the right LOADER.img file. Take your battery out and whatever it says on the label is your phone model, if it's an LG L90 D410 then you can download the LOADER.img file from the reply, if not you can Google the right LOADER.img for your phone.
If you brick it even hard to where it only shows in Device Manager under "Ports (COM and LPT)" I can also show you what thread I followed. You loose everything when it gets bricked but you might be lucky if you had a gmail signed in with auto-sync on. It should recover most data such as app data, photos, etc.

Hello! Thanks for your reply I found that reply about a month ago as I was searching desperately to find a solution about my phone. Thankfully it worked and since then my phone has been working perfectly. However, my IMEI number became 0 after that tutorial, but I found a solution about that too in another post (after I asked for help first ). It's here for people who are wondering: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/help/lost-imei-device-t3285130 Thanks for posting me this message. I may have fixed my problem but others have not and it will help them!

Bricked phone

Hello,
Yesterday I accidentally flashed the wrong SuperSU version to my phone. After that it would not boot to Android anymore and the only places it would let me go to are the "Unlocked bootloader" screen and the recovery/TWRP. I tried to do a factory install and that would also not work. After that I accidentally wiped all the data out of "/sdcard". My version of the phone is XT1541 europe 2gb. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thanks in advance,
Henk Schurink
Hey, Henk,
Your phone model's discussion forum is somewhere else. Ask there - they must be more in the know about the XT1541.
It doesn't sound that bad, though; good luck!
