A german blog reported wrong CE-Marking on the Elephone M2.
What is a CE Mark?
Wikipedia said:
CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985.[1] The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA. This makes the CE marking recognizable worldwide even to people who are not familiar with the European Economic Area. It is in that sense similar to the FCC Declaration of Conformity used on certain electronic devices sold in the United States.
The CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.[2]
The mark consists of the CE logo and, if applicable, the four digit identification number of the Notified Body involved in the conformity assessment procedure.
"CE" originated as an abbreviation of Conformité Européenne, meaning European Conformity,[3] but is not defined as such in the relevant legislation. The CE marking is a symbol of free marketability in the European Economic Area (Internal Market).

Someone in Germany bought a Elephone M2. After a few weeks the buyer from the Elephone M2 has received a letter from the customs. The women from the Customs said that she can't give the Elephone M2 to the buyer caused by a forged CE Mark.
There are now three ways:
Send the Elephone back to the retail Outlet
provide for inspection
destroy the device
!Customer's from europe shouldn't buy this device!

It's not wrong. This logo means "China Export", which doesn't doesn't have any european certifications. The only difference between the "China Export" logo and the "Conformité Européenne" logo is the letter distance, which, in case of the "China Export" is shorter.

What a load of bureaucratic nonsense! Who cares about CE marks when you're ordering a phone from China

And everyone knows that CE, irrespective of fonts, actually means 'China Exempt'...

Tension between China and Philippines over the Huangyan and Spratly Islands has grown. China has said all the Island is the China South Sea belong to China by right. Philippines dispute that the Huangyan has always been the property of the Philippines and is surprised by the sudden interest of China over this Island. Experts have found that China means to expand its wealth by drilling for oil in the Huangyan Island , due to reports by its own scientist's that its very rich in oil.
Philippines has sought to resolve the matter peacefully while China threaten's the Philippines that military action will soon be an option if Philippines doesnt back off it's claim to the Island. The U.S. has sought the role of peacemaker and is looking for a way both sides can avoid war , but recent threats by China's military have made it clear that only a military response may be the only course of action. Japan has recently reported seeing China moving into the South China Sea with Air Craft Carriers which only mean war is soon to begin.
So do you guys think China or Philippines is in the right?

Ib4l
Sent from my coffee pot.
I have no idea what the true history of the islands is. As to the outcome, Taiwan managed to hold out its claims to be its own nation state, but I don't know what kind of international support will be given over such a small area. Since oil is involved it will likely depend on who can persuade the right people that they have something to gain depending on how they side with this.
As for odds, the Philippines have some bad ass hand-to-hand combat tacticians, but China has weaponry to spare in this conflict and would make quick work of it should it come down to warfare. For now China is using a show of force, but how they will act in the end is the question.

Xiaomi technology recently released an international version of the Xiaomi Yi action camera: US version and EU version. Both version are available in white and black color. At the same time, Xiaomi will ban APP service of Chinese version in the overseas, which means that if you purchase Yi action camera of Chinese version, and you can’t use it because of language different.
What is international version?
An international version item is a product depending on the country of origin, international versions of a product may differ from domestic versions in their default settings, packaging materials, language on packaging and instructions, AC adaptors and plugs, accessories, manufacturer warranty or other features.

What differences are there between international and Chinese version ?
App
As we all know that the Chinese version of Yi action camera can only connect Chinese App. If Xiaomi bans overseas APP service, then what can the users do? Kindly suggest that the users buy an international one, because APP of the international version with multi languages applies to global users.
And according to the description on amazon.com:
“The U.S. version is compatible with U.S. Wi-Fi network environments and voltage, along with U.S. environmental standards. It has different packaging and English instructions. The other non-U.S. version are not from authorized sellers and could be counterfeit.”( EU version is the same)
Battey
Chinese Version features a 960mAh battery ( from Panasonic)
International Version features 990mAh battery( from Sony)
The batter life of international version is longer the Chinese version. What is more, the backdoor of the battery housing (international version) is covered with an aluminum alloy sheet. Its heat dissipation is better than plastic cover( Chinese version).
Certification
The international version of Yi action camera has passed CE and FCC certifications. In addition, the US version has passed CRUUS certification and the EU version passing KC certification. Comparing to this, the original Chinese version only passed CE certification.
Service
When the original Chinese version connects APP, the speed maybe be very slow. However, the international version promotes its user’s experience and update its speed.
Package
According to the press release the International Version differs:
“The package is better, local language and all the international certifications”
The Chinese version package is made from wood material and the international version uses recyclable wood material box with a red paper cover. The package of international version is better and more environmental.
From the above, we know the international version indeed make different changes including its package, user manual, appearance and so on. Here we are not going to go through more examples.Although its price is a little more expensive that the Chinese version, it’s better and more valuable. Kindly remind that if you buy the Chinese version, you can’t use it. (because app of Chinese version is Chinese and even you possibly can’t download it. )
I got a Tecno advertorial page pushed to me, regarding Phantom and did some research. I would have asked them directly, but no contact information I could find, #1 issue.
In spite of making a "presence" claim of dozens of countries, No US, Canada, or EU. Europe included Russia and Turkey on one product but not the other. The world is much larger that just those places, full of competition, safety and other enforced standards. #2
A claim of high-end or exclusivity which translates to me high prices and false claims of better. There is s history with mobile phones, but elsewhere as well. Exclusive, premium, luxury are never claimed, especially on web sites, if other than high prices. #3
Web content or printed material has no errors in spelling or syntax. I only am barely fluent in English. Their website is not. #4
Models are released over time. A single model indicates a lot of new or unique ideas, limited experience with product. A lot of models with very similar features released about the same time indicates lack of experience as does non-unique parts like shared screen sizes or lack of features or functions not available elsewhere. #5 and #6
Claims made that are not compared to avoid exposure as invalid. See post consumer recycle claim, foldable premium claim for obvious doubt generators. #7
There is a lot more to be skeptical of. I also wonder what seasoned Android developer would pay full retail for one to use dail While non-devopers aren't excluded, are there no standards for what is advocated with a kick-back revenue component?

I definitely had the same reaction...and I was sure most of it was lost in translation -- but looking at OP's posting history, all other posts are well spoken not broken English well enough, so.....
I barely get the gist of what OP's saying; there's an ad that may or may not be legit...? Even the numbers counting the listed reasons are at the end of the sentence? Maybe the original language is like Hebrew or Middle Eastern and writes from right to left?
