I've flashed a couple ROMs on my Galaxy Avant and the most stable for me has been the AOKP kitkat unofficial 2015-06-01
Is that the unofficial kitkat 4.4.4? That's what im running too and so far it's great. Only minor thing which seems to have resolved itself is sometimes the screen doesnt scoot up above when the keyboard pops up and can't see what I'm typing

Any one been testing all the new jelly bean roms that have been coming out lately? I'm currently using an unofficial cm10 jb nightlies build that's working fine but slightly buggy and has memory problems. I know these are all beta and for testing only but they seem so so close to being daily roms. If youve tryed them all what's the best most stable one so far?
I tried cm10 preivew 3 but felt buggy and battery draining
So went back to stock 4.0.4
Waiting for a stable rom
I have tried the Official CM10 - STABLE. But the rom still has some bugs such as time zome or he phone doesnt get locked or when the phone is locked the touch sensitive buttons are still lit up or even sometimes the phone gets hanged.
So, can someone suggest a more stable JellyBean rome ?
Is it PAC Rom , JellyBam or Black Jelly ROm ?
By far, the cyanogenmod nightlies are more stable. Download the latest nightly and test it
All jellybean roms are based on cm10 and have cm10 bugs

This one:

on Galaxy Note?!
You'll want something AOSP based so for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796217
That is cyanogenmod 10.1 (Jelly Bean 4.2.2) - they are nightly builds as they are not entirely stable.
whats the most stable one? For example I have used PA which is great but would slim bean be more stable?
What I mean by stable is that they claim they are unstable - sometimes something isn't working with cyanogenmod but then it is working the next day with the new nightly, they can all be use as a daylt build though. As for slim bean - they usually have the odd bug in each of their builds, I haven't checked out their 4.2.2 build 1 or 2 however.
In short words - don't worry about the stability.

For the last couple of weeks I've been using SlimBean 4.2.2 and Carbon 4.2.2.
Both are clean, pure and stable.
Hello,
I'm looking for a Galaxy Mini ROM based on android 4.x (4.1.x, 4.2.2, 4.4.2). The phone is not mine so I'm looking for something very stable.
I tried the latest CM11 4.4.2 Nightly (12th April 2014) and it's very good but not quite stable yet. I don't mind another older CM ROM with android 4.1.x or 4.2.2 for example as long as it is fast, functional and stable.
Can you guys suggest something that you have personally tested?
Thread closed as its a Best ROM thread.
Hi,
I use Nook HD+ in my workplace only because its the tablet with no camera. I currently have CM10 and looking to update it to CM11 or 12 but not sure which version is the most stable. I don't care about the fancy features, just need no-lag and no crashes.
Which ROM and version (nightly/snapshot?) should I go for?
Thanks
Latest CM 11 nightlies is the most stable (in my opinion, of course). Tested it on my HD and HD+, my choice for both devices. Get it here for your HD+: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ovation
Mokee

Pacman ROM has been great for me. CM worked OK until I tried some of the unofficial Lollipop versions. I haven't tried Mokee, but pacman incorporates features from it.

I've used Tesamek's CM11.0 ROM for a long time without many problems. The display does flicker every now and then. Currently trying the CM13.0 ROM.
