Some of us come from HTC's devices and miss some of the great HTC Sense apps. Well, here they are for your enjoyment: http://www.fulmics.com/htc-sense/
HTC Camera can be found here: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-co.../htc-camera-7-30-581119-android-apk-download/
You need HTC Service Pack installed for some apps to function properly.
Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to connect or update.

Digitalhigh's ROM also has the Sense apps built-in, and can be updated in Google Play Store.

There's nothing wrong with changing things up a bit. I'm gonna give it a whirl.
Thank you so much, now my Nexus p feels like the HTC Phablet Ive been waiting for from HTC. Thanks amillion
Htc does make a great video, camera, gallery and editor! You can install the xposed sensify module and the flash stock M8 or A9 htc camera and gallery and it will work very well.

Awesome!!! Former HTC user myself and love having some of those HTC apps. Is it possible to get the HTC dialer as well? Of all things HTC I miss it the most!! Merry Christmas to you all!!
Good question, I can't find this as a downloaded app, but might be able to pull the file from my M8 or any HTC device and test.

HTC Service Pack force closes constantly. I had to uninstall the apps because it was getting extremely annoying. Hopefully HTC will release an update.

Download the sensify xposed module. Then you can get the latest apps on the market. Mine's been working great since day one. No force closes.

Yes, I had the same issue as you with the downloaded version from xposed. So what I tested was pulling the module that is working in DH's ROM. I figured the one in there works fine. I think that's the new version he's working on for general download. Your mileage may vary.

So, I pulled the dialer app from my M8 with Marshmallow and it looks like it definitely works, but the People/Contacts portion doesn't pull any of the contact info. I'm playing with other related apps to see if I can get it to work. If so i'll report back when and if I figure it out.

Unlocked and rooted my wife's first today. Tried to greenify Google Maps and couldn't because it's a system app. So I tried to make it a user app in titanium backup and... Couldn't. Nor could I delete it. So it looks like the system folder is locked even for root users. Apparently it's a kernel level lock. Any ideas for how to greenify Google Maps?

I agree. I tried to change some things on the "system" level and was not able to. I reached out to nuclear_eclipse and he confirmed that we needed the kernel source before we could go any further.

Nice... So you plan on developing for this phone? Im thinking about getting one but I was afraid no devs would be supporting it... Which is a shame because its got everything going for it, especially with the bootloader unlocked.

Gettin' back to Android after a 6 month hiatus, and it would be GREAT to see you develop for this phone. It's a pretty solid, even if not flagship, piece of hardware. It's really a shame it's being canned so quickly; it's a fantastic mid-range phone. Not on par with your One, of course, but I love it.
Anyone ever find a solution for this?
I'd really like to replace the clock with the one from 4.2.

If you S-Off your device you'll be able to. I have the 4.2 clock, camera, and gallery on mine. Or if your bootloader is unlocked and you're rooted you can flash the .zips of the 4.2 camera and clock through cwm and disable the 4.1 clock and camera under settings>apps. Thats the way I did it before S-Off.
If you decide against S-Off and would like the .zips, let me know and I'd be happy to give you links to them.

i thought quick reply for messaging was a CM feature?
I'm wondering if perhaps we can expect to see a system dump from the "Google Edition" release, or perhaps an unofficial release of the STABLE CM 10.1; seeing as how the Sprint variant of the HTC One, received a nightly, as of yesterday.
I'm just hopeful that we'll have a more fully-functional version of Android 4.2.2.

Maybe for messaging, but Notification actions in general:
Expandable, actionable notifications.
Android has always put you in control when it comes to staying notified and connected. Just swipe down from the top of the screen to see all your notifications in one place. Late for a meeting or missed a call? Take action in an instant directly from the notifications shade.

Some of these don't apply, and some have been implemented by HTC already, but anyway for reference.

Ya seems to me to be pointless to buy the nexus experience One if you are a current owner and can just flash a "dump"
I just don't know if I can do without Zoe and the IR blaster. I have tortured so many peeps with the IR blaster and the TV/cable box at their houses or hotels it has been priceless!!!

Though I doubt the Google version of the one will have Zoe, I imagine it will use the ir blaster. I don't think they're changing anything physically on the phone so itd be a little odd if they didn't include that functionality.

I never really cared for LS widgets on AOSP. But if you really want, you will be able to delete the HTC lockscreen and use the AOSP one that has the widgets. So it's not like they are completely gone.

That is indeed a very good point. Would be pretty easy to fix up too.
I will donate a sizable amount of money to whoever can get this working properly. I might be broke.. so it maybe a $1.. and don't tell me it wont work. They said that about the camera, and it worked fine. I want a positive attitude about this.

The camera can be found here:

but there is no thread about a working gallery yet...
So you can make Zoe pics and stuff, but can't watch them on the phone without the HTC Gallery. Flashing back to Sense roms, shows all photos and movies made before.
I have a nexus 5, and love the newer KK launcher. I have my tf701 ordered and shipped but not delivered yet. Just wondering if anybody tried using the launcher?

Looks like it works with other tablets and phones too. It adds a Google now screen if you swipe all the way to the left and makes the bottom bar through. I don't it would hurt anything seeing as it is just an APK. Shouldn't need root or anything like that.

woah, just got my layout updated! I installed this version a week ago and it updated just a few minutes ago.
It's a server side update I think, google pushes out the change.
