My HTC One Mini 2, when takes photos with flash, they are all with a purple hue evident.
Do You know what it is and how to fix them?

No display with Camera

I noticed today that when I turn the camera on, there is no display / preview of what so ever on the screen, only the usual camera icons and buttons with a black screen. It still takes pictures, but unless you view through the file explorer later, there is no way to check what is in the picture. This is probably cause by a system setting or registry change. But I don't really want to hardware reset the phone. Could someone tell me how to change this back to normal please?
Problem fixed. Thanks!
Did you install the nadavi fix? Sometimes, that fix causes that to happen and you have to download another fix in that thread (if you can't find it, i'll upload it for you).
I've not experienced this problem but then I've not tried other than official HTC firmware/radios. Reading up in the first (sticky) thread points to this being commonly associated with an incompatible radio for your firmware.

Hi! I had a look at the installed program list. I have indeed installed HTC Camera Fix. After removing the fix, the camera now works fine. Thank you very much!

HTC One camera image naming

Is there a way to change the default naming of photos taken with HTC One camera app (IMAG0001, IMAG0002) to IMAG_date_001 or something like this?
Thanks.

Changing the code of the Camera app

[Q] Camera will not start

Hello,
I have a little problem. The camera of my HTC Desire C will not start completely. When I start the camera app, on the screen I see only the two buttons for making a picture or a movie. For the rest, the screen stays black. See attached file.
Already I did a normal factory reset, but this had no result with the standard camera app. Other, new installed, photo apps had the same results: a black screen with the 2 buttons.
How can I check the camera app
Thanks,
Bernard

Hello Warrior1208,
thanks for your answer. The last option - the hardware solution - was the one. After a good press, the camera was alive again.

Snapchat problem?

Hello guys. I installed the new official ROM, and Snapchat looks distorted.
There is no nav bar but Snap seems like it has one, but is painted black. I can provide screenshots if you do not understand what I mean.
Is there any way to fix it, or I should go back to the old roms?

did u fix your issue ?
I have the same case - more that 10 firmwares used to test my camera 5.1 till 6.0, no matter, Stable,DEV and other= black screen.
After reboot camera looks like works, but till anattempt to make picture, camera going to stuck, with message - no response from app camera...any kind of app.
I bought new camera module, and change it = no result.
Looks like camera module works well, but some kind of issue with buffer in K3 note. It can't save picture in the memory.
actually tried to luch some kind of debug mode on K3 note.

Weird spot at camera center and on pics

Has anybody else noticed a weird diamond spot on some surfaces though honor play camera?
It is visible only on certain surfaces and colors, at the center of camera.
I have uploaded the pics in a honor club post, link below.
https://club.hihonor.com/in/thread.252357
I have also uploaded the video here if someone not able to compare with pics.
Anybody has any clue why is it there, please check and share your views.

I just tried this and yes. It's in mine too. Grrrr
After a few tries, I can only get it to show if I use the flash. Maybe it's just a flash issue?
Yep, I have this problem too.
Is this issue fixed? I'm guessing AI mode caused this (if that makes sense)
I've ordered Honor Play 4GB variant India which will be delivered on 4th Oct 2018 Sunday.
Starting to regret my choice.

Makes no sense that it's connected to ai, no. How could it? You can safely ignore the muppets on that other forum ("maybe you have a mark on your jeans" lol!)
It happens with me with Open Camera so it's not even related to the stock camera app. I used to have a sony z3 and that camera added a pink blob in the middle. I just don't think phone manufacturers test their stuff properly.

Oh cool ! Thanks for the reply.
Got any tips for a new Honor Play user ?
I only see it when I use the flash, on items close to the lens, so I'm wondering if it's taking the image slightly sooner than it should do?
It seems like and it's the actual flash LED glow that's causing the spot?
If it took a millisecond longer to take the pic, the LED glow wouldn't get picked up by the image sensor?
Just a theory.

No, because for me it happens (I can see the shape) when i've not yet taken the shot so there's no flash, focus light etc. And the shape - it's a rotated square.
It is odd, because I can't get it to occur on every photo. It does seem easiest on trousers! Perhaps it's supposed to be a watermark that's much less visible.
If you only pretend to use your phone camera and instead use a proper camera, like huawei do (https://petapixel.com/2018/08/20/huawei-caught-faking-smartphone-photos-with-a-dslr-again/) then you won't have this problem.
