Locking issue
I found a bug wherein locking the device for the first time after setup will not respond to power button presses., necessitating a battery pull. A temporary solution would be to install a kernel with double tap to wake or sweep to wake enabled by default. This way, there's more than one way to wake up the phone. Don't worry too much as this only happens once.
it seemed like a great rom which has things you would definately use...but i am experiencing Google play services force close issue in this rom i don't know why? it didn't let me sign in to my account, i used open gapps pico version dated 5/12/2015 i had used it previously with omni aswell which gave me no issues whatsoever...it would be awesome if you could point out a quick fix
anyways what is about quick charging how it works if it is working could you please provide flashable zip which could work with other rom aswell.

Oh, wait, found this one small bug. My phone freeze at lock screen then become blank, and I have to remove the battery. Happened to me twice. Would be nice if you fix this. Cheers

The ROM is awesome. Has all the features one could need. Although it would be nice to be able to add other things to the quick settings in status bar. (Like Screen timeout settings, screenshot button, screen recording, power menu etc) Please add that too.
Also, I'm Facing an annoying issue. The phone, sometimes after the screen is off just doesn't wake up. I tried pressing the power button, but no good. Heck, the screen doesn't lighten up even if the charger is connected. It's like the phone has completely stopped working. I have to remove the battery to get it back to usable mode. I'm also getting some random reboots here and there but I'll have to investigate this further. How to fix this?

A bug :
When I turn mobile Hotspot on and try to change the password, the phone instantly reboots. I did a wipe and reflash but it occurred again.
Also, the problem with the phone freezing when the screen is off and not waking up unless battery is removed is persistent. Please fix these.

I was on latest Zeus kernel. I'd it not good enough?
As few users have already reported the bug....
Phone sometimes go to deep sleep and does not wake up even after pressing power button. you must need to pull out battery and reboot it this way.. No other way
Also the battery issue is weird and annoying.
I had my phone charged at night. I put it on airplane mode at night and when i woke up in the morning... battery was 0%
This is the best ROM so far in terms of speed and smoothness. But unfortunately can't use on daily drive cause of this 2 bugs.
Is there any way to resolve this issues without losing smoothness and speed
Reopened Developer is using CM source.
One of best simple rom I've ever tried on Android One. Such a shame it has no updates tho

Installed,its working nicely.Great job.
Installed & working pretty smooth. The notable feature which I found is - on installation after reboot there was no "One-by-one app optimisation" which normally takes long. Instead it was just a minute and the phone landed on home screen. Good effort.
BTW is there a way to make status bar temperature be displayed in "C" instead of default "F"? I am unable to find the option which is normally found in cLock in other ROMs.

I've checked all the roms for 9192 there is sometimes changing roms twice per day ... but this will be the rom that I will stick to.
Working pretty smooth 22800 antutu score after installing all the apps. Best rom so far.
As already posted by other users this ROM seems to be supporting many things which other 12.1 ROMS didn't
1. Xposed works and after multiple booting and installation of many modules it is still functional. The following are the modules I have installed.
ACDisplay, Dimensions Editor, Greenify Pro, Intelli3G, MinMInguard, Ultimate Dynamic Navbar, xposed additions pro, one hand mode pro by Hamzah. I am very happy that last two modules work. Although the one hand mode works with force closure notifications, the module does work and I have disabled the FC notification from the Developers' Setting menu. Two more modules, xposed GEL settings & xhalofloating window has been installed but not yet tested.
2. The kernel supports FauxSound & Kernel aduitor. It may also be supporting OTG but I haven't tested. Somebody can test and post.
3. The ROM is pretty smooth and seems battery friendly too.
4. Last but not the least, there is no Prolonged "Optimisation of Apps" after any flashing even after flashing xposed module.
Thanks to @lsdty. As already asked earlier, is there any way to change temperature unit from F to C in LockScreen Weather. The usual setting for the same is not available..

Edit : Alas the device stopped after I started xposed GEL settings. Reinstalling again. Will post again
Edit2; Managed to reinstall everything. Working fine. If device gets stuck in boot, clean cache / dalvik/ art cache and reboot and everything goes fine.
After clean flash it, during the first boot the phone shutdown during the first loading, when in the SOKP logo.
I am using I9192!
I tried flash just the rom, without gapps, same result.
Pretty nice ROM. It seems to have a good battery life. Also, the fact that it has its own kernel is very good since f4k kernel is not compatible with latest cm 12.1 ROMs and update is yet to come.
Few suggestions though:
1. Maybe you should remove ASUS bloatware (dayscene, mixplorer) so it doesn't have to be removed (if want so) manually every time you make an update.
2. I experienced something odd. When I try to set language for Google Now Voice Search in every other ROM I'm able to choose two languages. Here I can choose only one. How come?
Other than that everything looks very promising. Thank you for the effort.

Thanks man! I've been waiting for this ROM to land on the HTC M8 zone. I've been using it from back in the days when it was "Mahdi Rom" on multiple devices especially on my good old Nexus 5. I can't wait to test it out already. What sort of kernel will it take? AOSP or Cyna? does it have any good sound equalizer such as Beats Audio or equivalent for headphones?
Always wanted Mahdi ROM for our One M8, with the successor (Euphoria) here I'm very grateful.

The kernel is based off CM. No audio goodies extra other than whatever given by Euphoria team since I will be planning to make this official soon.

I have to say KUDOS, I am really impressed. I have tried sense and other Roms that I don't need to name but y far this one is a keeper. No sound issues whatsoever. No layers issue like other Roms. Is simply fantastic. Battery department is hard to say cause is my first day but so far so good. Great job dude

As far now ROM is simply stable no force close, Ton of customisation , really burning :laugh:
No option to enable or disable navigation keys like mentioned in the 1st post!!!
The only problem with this ROM is that Theme chooser stopps after reboot. Also root access isnt working. it's enabled in settings but might not be working. Is it safe to flash SU?

I can confirm the theme chooser problem! You can flash super su, it gives no problems at all!

Button illumination does not work
I installed it yesterday afternoon. Deep sleep works, only spent 4% at night, with data and wifi disconnected. Very good looking rom and quite customizable.

Yes, I update very often. Lately, not updating the Oreo and try new rom, if I am attracted.
The only update is the LOS 15.1 and that has not been updated since day 13.
After several days using this rom, I must say that it has the best battery consumption of all I've tried with Oreo.
It is very customizable and very stable. Like all Oreo, it still has things to implement, but, as I say, it is very usable for day to day.
As I have 2 sim, I suggest an improvement to dev @ jpg3927: button to activate and deactivate each sim, without the need to restart.
I recommend it, very good rom.

Yeah i meant night light settins on display. It works like 2 second and reverts its back to normal display setting
Edit: cf lumen - a screen calibration app- was interrupting night light. So it works. Sorry for misinformation

lockscreen double tap sleep function not work in my redmi note 3 pro running aospextended,
i think this is android's problem

@jpg3927 I installed the last update, now fingerprint does not work, it is dimmed in the configuration and it does not appear in security. Is it a failure of my installation or has it been established in the rom for some reason?
Edit: I've gone back to the previous compilation and it works. Another person in a Telegram group has reported the same error.

I had compiled this rom for myself but really liked the tons of feature this rom has , so shared here with everyone so that this rom doesnt get missed.

Clean flash and check this because there is no such issue at my end, display settings open properly, you can check this by clean flashing rom only without any gapps

Cannot comment on the battery backup right now, need to use it for few days to know..the reason for sharing this ROM was for its tons of customization which are the USP of this ROM.

I have flashed this ROM by this morning, since then I started loving it.. it has tons and tons of customization.... many are not present in other custom ROMS..
My Quick Observations so far are
* Buttery smooth ROM
* Tons of customization
* No heating issue.. even with heavy usage..
I will comment the battery backup after using it for few days.
A must try ROM I would say!! Thanks a lot to the dev team !!

Bugs
Overall the ROM is good and there are tons of customisation.... Battery backup is good but it is a little less than AOSP Ex... Smooth performance..
Bugs-
1. The lock-screen goes blank for 3-4 sec after every customisation. But it becomes normal after some times. I think its a bug in Ambient display.
2. There's a little error in Slow Motion camera and High speed frames...
But overall, good work devs..

Hi, Can u give steps to reproduce this, which scanner didn't work ..
The rom is beautiful and did not notice any major bugs yet. But slight a small bug i "heard" while earphones plugged in and music is on sometimes when the next song is played after one the music gets a little distorted or something like that then i have to pause the music and play again then it clears properly. Overall good rom and loved it many customisation battery is also decent as oreo. And just wanted to know will this continue to get updates ?

it's for an App in Belgium for scanning lottery tickets to get notifyed when you win. It use camera for scanning ticket numbers

Ok, I try to flash with TWRP like other rom but I had error 7, so no system, no problem I restore my backup but after 15 % error 255, can't mount /system, start to panic finally redelete everything and flash my old RR 7.1.2 zip and seems to reworks so I'm searching to resolve error 7 but I'm warning you it actually doesn't work for me. I'm going to retry after a reboot (it's actually booting).

Ok I delete some lines before mount in Havoc-OS-20180703-ham-Unofficial-101\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script. Flash works great and it's actually booting, I tell you if I have some troubles.

Ok, I try to flash with TWRP like other rom but I had error 7, so no system, no problem I restore my backup but after 15 % error 255, can't mount /system, start to panic finally redelete everything and flash my old RR 7.1.2 zip and seems to reworks so I'm searching to resolve error 7 but I'm warning you it actually doesn't work for me. I'm going to retry after a reboot (it's actually booting).

Ok I delete some lines before mount in Havoc-OS-20180703-ham-Unofficial-101\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script. Flash works great and it's actually booting, I tell you if I have some troubles.

Finally works like a charm, I'm restoring all my apps with titanium, ui is very smooth and clean and round, I test the rom during some days, I tell you if I found some bugs.

This was the last build from myside with Selinux enforcing, as you can see another dev is also working on same ROM, so that thread will be continued and this built will be last one from myside.

That's a pity, your builds work better.
Anyway, thanks for your work and for bringing Havoc for our device (I really love this ROM!).
After one week usage of this room I don't found any bug. Just one thing when the weather was above 35°C inside my house, when I was doing Google image search the device was really really hot, I couldn't handle the phone for the first time so I stopped using it and turned off, it still working Battery is correct without battery saving for a 3yo phone, 10am to 17pm with YouTube, Spotify, chrome and CarXdrifting. Probably the best Oreo rom for our device thank you very much for keeping this device updated.
