[Q] 6.09.401.11 call bug and earphones problem

Hello,
yesterday i've installed the 6.09.401.11 via OTA, release notes report "important bugfixes to phone calls". Since i've installed it i've a bug in the call history, everytime i do a phone call my last called number is not the one that i've called but "Unknown" . Also if i receive a phone call and i've earphones plugged in i've to take them off and plug in again or they don't work. Anyone else have the same issues? Thank you.

In calls, receiver can only hear me if speakerphone is on

Bit of a disappointment that the basic function of the phone is not working correctly!
In order to be heard on a call I need to switch on speakerphone. Anyone else had this issue?
Tried wiping the cache and restarting the device.
Verified that the microphone is working. I can make calls with Messenger, WhatsApp etc.
Upon hanging up, there is an audible pop on the receiver end during my tests.
Affects both incoming and outgoing calls.
NX627J_V1AMB with build NX627J_ENCommon_V2.03. The phone came with V1.03 but did not test calling.
Phone app build version 11.0.
Any help much appreciated.

Ordered my phone with EU distribution and came with NX627J_ENCommon_V2.03 and I don't have such a problem. Maybe flashing went wrong? There are many users experiencing issues after flashing.

Hi, this was after flashing but I've since debricked (using https://forum.xda-developers.com/nubia-z20/how-to/tool-nubia-z20-unbirck-tool-t4009227) so believe I'm on the correct firmware. If someone can confirm this is the case that would be useful otherwise I will try and flash firmware

Nokia 7 plus TA-1055 which ROM?

Hey all.
Can anyone please confirm of any ROM which doesn't have the "mic bug" on Nokia 7 plus TA-1055 please? I just had my Nokia out of the box and updated to latest Android Q security patch 1 Jan 2020 and noticed google assistant and whatsapp voice calls not working at all whereas the native google duo works fine I was wondering if i flash a custom ROM will these be rectified?

I dont have those problem. Have you tried factory reset?

Yes i did a factory reset couple of times but to no avail. Did "mic check" in the service mode getting no response from primary mic but the other two are ok. its weird.

Have you tried to clean the mic?

Yea..i did eventhough it's a brand new phone i cleaned the mic. It's the mic at the bottom near the charging port which is not working and i guess whatsapp is only detecting that mic not the other two.

Echo sound during calls after upgrade 11.0.1

Hi everyone,
Yesterday I've received the update for Android 10.
Anyone else have encountered an echo sound(on the other line) during calls with earphones on?
Tested with Telegram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Not sure if normal phone call have the same problem.

In my case too. Other side told me it after android 10 update during the google meet call.

I have also same problem

I had that problem as well. The only workaround I found was to disable Google Assistant on the phone. Apperently it is not just our device that is having this problem.

Did it work for you? I tried to disable google assistant but it didn't work for me

MintMobile call problem resolved?

There was a problem with but not limited to some mintmobile users on the P5. Most of the Reddit posts are from November and early December. The problem was that calls would either not connect at all or would drop mid call. I had the P5 for 2 weeks and never had that problem but that may be because I use a Google Voice number and app.
Did anyone use to have that problem and are still using P5 with mint? This they push an update to fix it?

Only problem I had was that wifi calling would work for a few hours and then later on, if you tried to make an outgoing call, it would attempt and immediately die. So far, it seems ok so I think it might be fixed.
