Good evening:
First, sorry for my bad english. I didnt know this forum until I had to dip into it, but I have read many posts and I find a place where there are people who know a lot about these issues and are saviors of people like me who only know of these issues.
I bought a Teclast x98 Air iii 32GB (M5C5) as a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas. I discovered that I could remove all Chinese applications and gain some performance by changing the ROM, and got satisfactory. But I went further and saw that he could do dual boot despite being the 32GB version. So I installa the dual Bios 2.02. So I got. But here's the problem:
The tablet is constantly restarts remaining in the screen logo with Chinese letters. I connected a keyboard to the tablet to access the BIOS to see what I could do, but I have not achieved anything. I try to flash with flash ROM Android IMT I installed the first time (with all types of wipes, changing partition tables and so on) and when loaded FlashBoot error "could not find boot device appears handle me teclast "but continuous flashing (giving others more errors in the tablet), but ends correctly (in the IMT out the green bar) and restarts. Upon restart, we return to the same, constant restart and I get nothing.
Can I flash once again other BIOS? How? Because I cant boot any SO.
I'm starting to despair because I've read English, Chinese, Spanish forums and even Italian, and no, I'm stuck and I do not wanna (if it isnt yet) turn the tablet into a brick. It going to be the most expensive Christmas gift
Thank you very much in advance who can shed me some light to solve this bundled I have done.
Greetings.
Did you find solution?
I am experiencing similar problem. Did you find solution?
BIOS/Firmware 2.02 is NOT for X98 air III but for X98 Air II or 3G only.
Now your best bet is to put back the original Firmware or another one that is fully compatible this time.
If you can't boot at all the only way to unbrick your X98 will be with the CH341A programmer, you can use my tutorial for X98 Air II 3G but again use a firmware compatible with the Air III.
Tutorials, links and Files are in my signature below.
Regards !
There is a M5C5 unbrick thread (or C5J8 posted by me) here too. Read these.
Maybe if you have DNX mode you could try to reflash the original BIOS.

Ok, so i had an htc wizard, but it's enclosure was in terrible condition. so I bought another bricked wizard on ebay to replace the enclosure. that went well, so i decided to see if i can revive the bricked one. turns out its only semibricked (it goes into the red green blue bootloader screen). I read that it's possable to revive a semi-bricked wizard, so can anyone give me some instructions please.
thanks
oh, and its a G4 device
RGB, and no USB
I'm needing some assistance as well. I'm on the RGB screen, I have a G4 ( Wiza 200). i've read all the articles on how to fix this. However my problem has more to do with the fact that my Win 7 {virtualized xp pro} machine can't, or rather won't see the the phone. Or if it does...none of the upgrade files I have used have worked? Suggestions?
download the offical rom for your bricked wizard put into bootloader mode. the red green blue screen. then plug it in to your comptuer and run the offical rom. after you reinstall the offical rom you should be good to go.

Hi all,
Apologies if there is any kind of answer to the following elsewhere - I've looked for a few hours, but haven't stumbled across anything.
My phone has developed an issue, whereby the SE logo will display - along with the green Windows Mobile logo, before resetting.
I've been able to reflash the original stock ROM (hence the WM splash screen), but need to now restore the SPL to send this off for a repair.
Any ideas how I can do this (considering I can't connect this via ActiveSync to the PC)?
Thanks very much all,

though I normally don't recommend it for spl: you might want to give SD method a try
strange your stock rom doesn't boot though, hope trying to flash spl doesn't scramble it completely
otherwise consider using task 29 to wipe memory and start a new with the stock rom, but read instructions carefully before you try it
gl anyway
Mod. edit: not dev related, moved to general
While trying to flash dual boot windows onto the tablet, I bricked the tablet via bios i think.
The device will not charge or be picked up by my computer. any help to the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!
Follow this guide:

Hi there,
i own a Air III (M5C5). I want to switch to Windows 10, so i flashed bios 2.05 from mireks rom packages. This went totally wrong, some of you already know this ugly problem. Yesterday i found a post in a german forum, which fixed this problem for me:
http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/teclast-x98-air-iii-boot-probleme-nach-bios-update.747401/page-3
I flashed the unbrick.7z from RafeGruber and thank god, it is running again (came from error: efilinux, could not find boot device handle). So thanks to RafeGruber.
However, i am not responsible for any bricking you do....! I am just reporting sucess in my case.
So, back to topic: i really want to install Windows 10 (with or without android). I know all the description for Air 3G and so on and i tried many thinks, but they did not work. So if somebody is reading this who has actually done it for his very own M5C5 (32gb), please post a short description with corresponding files....
Just for clear - this tool created by ionioni in januar. It was here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/x98-air/help/baytrail-dnx-mode-bios-flashing-tool-t3295105 before he quit.

Hello,
Recently buyed this tablet. It has dualboot android & windows 10 latest update.
SDreader is not working in both OS.
I think bios is V3.0 ?
Is there any way to use the built reader? I prefer Windows but prefer to have the dualboot option. (Is it even working in single boot ?)
Thanks
PS: I read a lot's of threads. Can't find clear answer.
Tried updating bios and old unsigned driver method nothing works.
