My G2 is working fine. Currently running CM12.1 and TWRP. No problems there. I want to revert to stock, but upon entering download mode, I get the "Secure booting error". This doesn't happen on system or recovery boot, only download mode. How can I get my phone back to stock (true stock, not just a stock ROM)?
We get the same problem.. Get a VS980 with Cloudfy with TWRP installed. Working on GSM. Want to restore to Stock on 11A rom for Verizon working. Whenever I boot in the dload mode, It stuck in "Secure booting error".

Whenever my recovery is TWRP I am not able to boot into any type of ROM. Every time I reboot my phone it will be past the "your bootloader is unlock" and always boots straight into TWRP. When I flash stock recovery I am stuck at a image of a Android and it just stays at "erasing..." till it reboots itself. I have attempted to flash different types of roms by sideloading through TWRP and also attempted to flash stock recovery through fastboot with no luck at all.
The issue started whenever I was on stock 6.0 and flashed TWRP. Once I was in TWRP at the end when I was rebooting my phone I said yes to install supersu, which I know now was a mistake. Afterwards I was stuck in a bootloop were I finally attempted to do a factory reset which seemed to have made things worse. That was when I was stuck at the "erasing..." whenever I attempted to boot through stock recovery. Not sure what else to try at this point.
Any help would be great at this point.
I'm in the same boat. Exact same problem with no idea how to fix. I can get into fastboot screen, but that's it. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I have vs980 with euphoria 1.1 ROM. After I flashed ROM everything works fine. I really Love this rom. When I went to go into TWRP recovery, it wouldn't go. I have the lg emblem and an error comes up, Boot Certification verify - Secure booting error.
I have tried searching for an answer, but all the posts are for the same error but with stock ROMs.
How do I get into recovery? It says its installed, but won't boot into recovery.
I know the error has nothing to do with euphoria, just something happened possibly when installing xposed???
Do I have to go back to stock?
What do I need to do??? Please help!!!
Hi, I have a T810 and I wanted to root it. I am on the OJ1 bootloader.
I flashed the kernel for 5.1.1, the permissive kernel.
It works perfectly, but of course no root because I needed to flash the autoroot for T810 for 5.1.1.
I flash it successfully and it goes into recovery mode than all the writing for the root comes on.
It does all that correctly but it reboots and goes into download mode. I try to force boot by holding all keys.
It goes onto the Samsung logo for 1 second and then it goes back into download mode.
I have reflashed stock rom and I have tried 20 times and still it does not get out of download mode.
What am I doing wrong??
Looks like nothing... try rooting with supersu zip using TWRP
I rooted and flashed CM14 ROM for the H811 G4. had to use fastboot boot recovery command because flashing recovery didn't work. ROM loaded/worked totally fine, went to flash Super SU in recovery, phone flashed it, rebooted and then didnt boot up again. Stuck on the CM14 logo, tried flashing stock KDZ, kept getting errors like unable to connect. Any ideas on how to get this thing back up and running?
If the phone ever stops booting to DL Mode, but still enters TWRP or boots to the normal android OS.
Try flashing this zip. It might freeze TWRP after it ends flashing.
Then after the flash, flash a KDZ.
