Hello, does anyone know if this watch work on 5.1.1. I had it working on a Galaxy S5 5.0 rom. Then I updated it to 5.1.1 rom and now it isn't connecting. I restored the gear plugin and the samsung manager app. Still not working. Don't want to downgrade just because of the watch. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Today I tried to sync Gear with my S3 with rooted stock 4.3 rom. I installed gear manager but it keeps saying that my mobile device is not compatible with Gear or I have to update my software. Can anyone help please ?

Can anyone explain why my Gear Manager won't update to 2.2?
It was working yesterday then I reinstalled my rom due to issues and now it will only install 2.1.
I manuallying installed Samsung Gear_2.2.14092299.apk from another thread but it says my gear is not compatible.
I have sm-v700, software version v700xxucnf1, galaxy note 3 sm-n9005 with crash rom 17.1.

I succesfully installed the ROM TizenMod 3.0 on my Gear 2 Neo but can't connect it to my phone.
I have a Moto G 2014 with Lollipop 5.0.2 and every Gear Manager I found on the web crashed at opening.

I reveived a neo yesterday. I try all "method /tweak " for connecting it on my Z2, but all failed.
Finally I try flash tizen to Android wear.
Flash ok.
Détection ok.
Appeared ok.

I got Gear S as a present few days ago, but was having real tough time installing Gear Manager. I tried different methods that I found online, but no luck. I keep getting this message ( The operating system on your phone has been modified in an unauthorized way, and is not compatible with the Samsung Gear app. Check your operating system and try again. )
I tired it on 2 phones with no luck.
#1 Galaxy S4 (Canadian Rogers) running Cyanogen 12.1 Lollipop 5.1.1 (Android market shows Gear Manager as unsopported, but I managed to install it with an apk file just to get above message)
#2 Galaxy S5 (Canadian Rogers) running BlissPop v3.2 Lollipop 5.1.1 (also tried flashing Marshmallow 6.0 with same result)
The only phone that worked was S5 with stock rom that I borrowed from my wife.
Can someone point me in the right direction, I would really like to use this watch especially on my S4

I have the same issue with my Note 2. I see where people can trick Gear Manager into thinking it is on a Samsung device when it is not, surely there is some way to make it thinks or can't tell if it is on a rooted/custom ROM device? Would greatly appreciate any feedback or ideas!
