Qhsusb_bulk/Qualcomm HS-USB QDLOADER 9008? - LG Optimus L90

I will be explaining eeverything that happened. If you don't want to read it and just skip to the information about my phone, then please do so.
Ok, so to start with, I first bricked my phone by trying to unlock my bootloader and flashing TWRP recovery. Luckily I backed up my recovery and kernel images using Flashify, before my first brick. I then followed this to unbrick it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61808443&postcount=9. After, I was able to unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP recvoery, following http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-flash-custom-t2839690. I used the D405n v20a version of the aboot.bin file and TWRP_2 (I forgot which version). I was trying to unlock the PIE security, because when I used qpyplus 2.7 (python) and typed "python", I got an error. This is my thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription&folderid=all. I tried a few times to follow multiple tutorials, which each time, I had to reflash the stock ROM after bricking it, and following the first tutorial I linked to unbrick my phone. I would get an error, saying the version is wrong, or something like that, every time I rebooted my phone. I rooted my phone again, then tried to follow the unlock bootloader and flash TWRP, following this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-flash-custom-t2839690. Using the same aboot.bin and TWRP.img I used before. It was no longer working. When I went from the very start refollowing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61808443&postcount=9, stupidly I tried reflashing the recovery.img instead of the loader.img. Now, my phone never acts like it did when I was bricking it before. It never shows up in My Computer, doesn't show up in drive manager, showing no partitions, when I go to device manager, under "Other devices", my phone is "QHSUSB_BULK" http://i.imgur.com/QP4fRVp.png. In properties, this is under "general" http://i.imgur.com/CVgbAFR.png. "driver" http://i.imgur.com/38HRDib.png. "details" http://i.imgur.com/ejch5sW.png. "events" http://i.imgur.com/XP3Y3TP.png. I've plugged it into different ports, I commonly have it in COM-3. Upon looking around for "bricked phone QHSUSB_BULK", I found this forum http://androidforums.com/threads/hard-brick-lg-g2-qhsusb_bulk-but-no-partitions-detected.934856/. I scrolled down and saw to install some drivers, so I intsalled them. The phone then came under "Ports (COM & LPT)" as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3)".

So that is what happened, here is the information on my phone:

If anyone has the same problem above, please follow this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unbrick-hard-bricked-l90-variants-t3173429 It fixed it for me.

I put Samsung Note 3 ( N9005) Qualcomm based mobile on EDL by ADB Command. The command does work & phone reboot to show in device manager Qualcomm usb Driver, BUT Qualcomm USB drivers disappear after few seconds .... What could be the issue....as i wanted to use QPST ( QFil) to flash the phone but its giving error that no port is selected.
How to make " Qualcomm HS-USB QD loader 9008 " drivers to appear permanently in Device manager.
searched a lot on goolge but nothing is working...
Pls any one help.

Can someone PLEASE help me boot my phone into FASTBOOT mode? ( T mobile h811) on CM13

When I first purchased this phone I was able to boot to the default recovery that came with the phone ( which clearly had a *fastboot option*), it came with stock 5.1, and a bunch of bloatware.
I downloaded the one click root method for the h811 which was perhaps the easiest root i've ever done. great. i also had to flash my recovery to twrp 2.8 for some reason.
Rocked out to a newely rooted device on 5.1 until the t mobile bloatware and system update notification kept bugging me, so I said * eff it, i've been holding out for a while*
So I get to the cm 13 wiki for my device, I managed to install the cm recovery ( cant remember how i did this for some reason) and then i was able to flash cm13 to my phone. CM13 is sleek, and smooth but is presenting problems.
First of all, no google play store and the gapps zip wont install through cm recovery ( fails and tells me to use twrp instead which is a problem because i can't boot this phone into fastboot mode)
I am unrooted and can not figure out how to properly root a T mobile h811 running cm13, so the twrp manager doesn't work because it "requires root" then shuts down. ( enable root access in the cm13 developer options does nothing at all and yes, for adb and apps)
FAST BOOT MODE DOES NOT SEEM TO EXIST ANYMORE ON MY PHONE - Following the many tutorials, which goes long the lines of using adb/fastboot, adb devices can see my device, but fastboot devices can't ( figures) because its not in fastboot mode. Any fast boot reboot bootloader or any variant of that command only reboots the phone, to... swipe the screen.
I've installed the lg bridge crap ( which installed an updated usb driver) that doesn't even recognize my phone " no mobile device connected". tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing. When putting the phone in download mode, to see if adb would rcognize it, windows sees this as a new device , installs drivers but says " device can not start, code 10 * in device manager. :silly:
is there anything that can be done?? google searches result in obvious solutions that SHOULD work but don't, or threads where a person coincidentally has the same exact problem as I do, but their response is usually the last response in the thread that goes unanswered
summary : I've install cm13 on my lg g4 h811, I do not have root access, I can not install twrp due to ( no fastboot mode) in effect, i cant install gapps, cant root phone etc..
any help?
did you ever unlock the phone....?
Yes, unlocking the phone is one of the first things you would need to do. In Developer Options > OEM Unlock. Then in bootloader, run the unlock command. This will delete /data and internal storage so back up your files so you can transfer them back via adb or fastboot.
Then you're probably going to need to temp boot TWRP, then flash the TWRP recovery image in TWRP. THEN you can flash properly.
Carefully read through this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/stock-h811-20i-images-kdz-flashable-t3308227
Good luck.
Edit: oh and this thread belongs in Q&A.
Alright. Am I only to read the first post or all 30+ pages? ( not that i have a problem, just curious)
Reeeeaaadd ittt alllll! Just kidding. The first post should be fine. You'll be looking at doing everything after flashing the kdz. If you think you've messed up your partitions, flash the kdz and start over.

"ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH LGUP NOT SEEING YOUR MOBILE?
Try this....... take the back off your mobile so you can get at the battery. Connect your mobile via USB. Start LGUP, if it does not see your phone DO NOT DISCONECT, DO NOT RESTART OR TURN OFF LGUP. Take out the battery and then put it back in.......let the phone restart on its own. LGUP should now see it."
didn't work, very frustrating. any clues? on windows 8.1 by the way. tried two computers. none can see this phone. I can connect the phone to the computer and see its storage, lg usb driver is installed
You probably need to reinstall the drivers. It might be the fastboot driver. That's what worked for me.
I've reinstalled the official drivers, uninstalled them... Jusst the mobile USB driver, a combo of both, plenty of times. Don't understand why this software doesn't see my phone
Lgup, lgair, lg bridge, lg USB driver (skinned down) .. Nothing works tested on my gaming rig., and work laptop both running win 8.1 64 bit

Anyway I feel that the 811 is one of the more finicky devices to get into fastboot at least in my experience. I had to enable and disable dev options while plugging and unplugging device and it finally worked. No idea if that'll work for everyone though.
I reasked the question in Q and A. Please help some one.
You start over. LG bridge.
Having the same issue. I'm on Windows 10. What developer settings did you mess with to get it working, tiskewlio?
The issue i seem to be having is that when I put the device in download mode ( didnt know that is the same as fastboot) drivers attempt to install, "LGE MTP USB DEVICE" has a yellow exclamation mark with a code 10-device cannot start error message. I believe this the issue as any fastboot command stuff says " waiting for any device" . must not yet see the mtp driver .. Also noticed the bridge app immeditaley tries to pick up my device in download mode but fails due to this problem..
Any clues?

silly question maybe, but is there a specific tutorial in getting this to work with the files provided given my situation? (commands, etc..) will this somehow bypass the the lge mobile mtp device that wont install ? I had installed the system wide adb/fastboot drivers, and already had a folder with just the minimal install of the adb but didnt have a few files in the one you provided ( lg root, busy box, etc) so not quite sure what to do with them.
Again, if possible want to flash twrp recovery to my device but can't due to * waiting for any device* and the ( device cannot start ) error
Thanks
* waiting for device* when putting phone in download mode and pushing fastboot flash twrp-2.8.7.1-h811.img.
Any help would be appreciated as I need to get the driver to work first. see attached picture.

the issue is largly resolved as i've been able to flash the recovery and install another rom. But i'd still like to know how to get the download mode driver properly working in the event i need a computer and can't do a self contained install.
Uninstall all drivers. Reboot computer. Reinstall latest drivers and LG bridge. Reboot. Then start your process. It'll work. Trust me. Find my posts in primes stock thread. I ran into this issue myself. And if you get an error after flashing where it won't mount /data, that's because it got corrupted. Once in twrp, format /data then reboot to recovery. All will be well to flash. Just a heads up since that was also a problem.

i dont know man, i did all that a million times over, but recently i was able to just flash the stock MM rom to the device using LGup. Think i'll just stick with stock rom and root for a while as all this stuff is a little finicky at times. Thanks for your help.

Help with soft bricked L90

Let me start by saying I am not a developer and have never even rooted a phone. A google search led me to this forum, and I hope someone here may be able to help me. I am not familiar with some of the terminology, but I am an engineer, so I can understand the concepts.
My L90 D415 died last night and is stuck with the following text on the screen:
[10800] fastboot_init()
[10900] USB init ept @ 0xffd8000
[10920] udc_start()
I downloaded the USB driver from the LG website, and the phone shows up in Device Manager as Marshall London Bootloader Interface.
I got several more lines on the screen when I plugged and unplugged the USB cable, including "fastboot: oops!" I'm guessing that's not good.
I have no clue what to do next. TIA for any help with this.
D415 is a PITA to unbrick. As it shows fastboot you may be able to flash TWRP custom recovery to flash a custom ROM. But first try to start the phone in download mode to flash stock KDZ, it's explained in another thread.
If you can't then probably your phone's partition table is messed up, join other threads where people are trying to unbrick it.

[Q] Bricked Zuk Z2 Pro (Z2121)

Hello everyone,
I bricked my Z2 Pro and after hours of searching and trying to fix it by flashing stock ROM via EDL I'm desperate so I would be grateful for any help.
My Z2 came with some custom ROM from shop with 1.9 version on it without OTA so I decided to flash it with different ROM. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP and SU, but flashing Gedeon ROM via TWRP ended with an error (error code 7 or 11 if I remember correctly). So I decided to flash stock ROM following
this guide.
QFIL recognized the device correctly as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008, but I kept receiving this error:
02:20:14: ERROR: function: sahara_rx_data:194 Unable to read packet header. Only read 0 bytes.
02:20:14: ERROR: function: sahara_main:854 Sahara protocol error
02:20:14: ERROR: function: main:265 Uploading Image using Sahara protocol failed
Download Fail:Sahara Fail:QSaharaServer Failrocess fail
So I followed this guide that recommends to use MiFlash instead of QFIL.
After few unsuccessful updates (it wasn't able to open the port) it finally finished downloading the ROM (2.0.057 ST) with this message at the end: The operation completed successfully.(0x00000000: ApplyPatch sector NUM_DISK_SECTORS-1., offset 16, value CRC32(NUM_DISK_SECTORS-1.,92), size 4)
It took about 55s.
However after I unplugged Z2 from the USB cable and hit the power button, nothing happened. Since the update the screen is off, the LED light is off. Even if I hold the power off button for one minute.
When I plugged the phone back, it was still recognized as QDloader 9008, so it is apparently stuck in the EDL mode.
I tried all stock ROMs from here multiple times with the same result. Multiple times with the "successful update" message, but nothing happens.
EDIT: Now, after few tries the of the same process it is not even updating the ROM at all. It says "Open serial port failed" and afterwards "Missing hello packet, try to recover" (I waited about 5 min, but the message didn't change).
Please help
I hope for a solution without the need to unplug the battery, but if it will be necessary, I will do it.
Thank you!

Yes, everything step by step. I even have the same version of QFIL (QPST is build 437 instead of suggested 434 - I suppose that won't be causing any problem). I tried to reboot my PC, different USB ports, reinstall drivers (as I previously had Lenovo USB driver and before the flash I installed the ZUK driver as well as without the ZUK drivers it wasn't recognized as QDLoader).
Zukfans.eu
Btw I'm unable to sign up to zukfans.eu to place my question there as well as. It asks for CAPTCHA verification, however there is no CAPTCHA shown, only the verification question "what zuk have you ?". I filled in there 'ZUK Z2 Pro', copied the question in there etc., used 4 different broswers on 2 devices and networks, no luck. And it is not possible to log in via FB as well.
I was working on it until 4AM last night and today I completely forgot to describe the important part about MiFlash
Please see in the original post.

I'm not sure about Miflash. I used QFIL.
Also, I wrote a small tutorial. See if that helps:
http://zukfans.eu/community/threads...rom-zuk-z2-pro-z2121-only.57/page-8#post-7282
If you are unable to use that link. Below is an extract:
"The QFIL zip contained the ROM twice. so you can load the contents.xml from the parent folder or the other folder within the zip too.
Make sure you extract the ROM in a short part i.e. "C:\Z2Pro\
1) Firstly, the tricky part having the tool recognize the qualcomm port.
Solution: Uninstall the tool, USB drivers (i.e. Zuk drivers), any existing qualcomm drivers.
Reboot.
Install Zuk drivers.
Install the tool. (According to the guide, the tool will also install the drivers for qualcomm, but for some reason it did not)
Install the qualcomm drivers.
2) Fortunately, my phone was not bricked. So I could easily get into edl mode using "adb reboot edl"
3) While trying to get this to work, some RELINK driver was installed instead of qualcomm. Uninstall that if you see that.
4) Anyway, back to our troubleshooting. So you would think that you are all set and your qualcomm port should be recognized, but no. It failed to recognize. So try this:
Reboot PC.
Reboot Phone.
5) Now Proceed. Hopefully by now you have see your qualcomm port. Great.
6) This is the trickiest part. You need to click on the "Download Content" "IMMEDIATELY" "AS SOON AS" you hit enter on "adb reboot edl".

7) Yay. You see very nice progress in the little progress section on QFIL. You think you'ved nailed it.. But no, you could again end up getting another error. (Unfortunately I forgot to get a screenshot). Anyway, you would see this multiple times, that the "File access is very slow"; I'm not sure if only I received that error or if it is generic.
8) When you get an error at this point. Try a different port. Luckily, I got it to work on my second attempt on another attempt.
My review on the stock ROM:
Honestly, the custom ROM installed by the seller worked way better for me. This stock ROM had a lot of chinese apps (which of course I can uninstall). But somehow, the custom ROM from the seller felt better. Luckily I had a nandroid backup and I went back to it. The only drawback apart from OTA, being on the latest etc etc is that I cannot use the heartrate sensor (which is no big deal for me).
I guess I'll wait for another AOSP or another custom ROM or probably something with Android N before I upgrade again.
Hope this helps."
Thanks for getting back to me. I remember reading this before, however I cannot apply it to the current situation (but I tried anyway).
However there is an update to share. After some time I was able to go through the full download via MiFlash as before (with the 'successful' message) and moreover, flashing via QFIL finally started to produce something promising, however at the end it showed this message (no change to the state of the phone):
View attachment 131237287087498319.log
Next try showed the same error message as before:

SOLVED!
Hallelujah! After many many many tries (just doing the same over and over and over) the stock ROM (2.0.048) was finally uploaded (using QFIL)!
I was trying to hold power off and/or volume buttons while and after connecting to PC just to try different things and maybe that helped as well.
If someone will experience the same issue as me, I have one advice - don't loose your faith, don't give up!
And if you are thinking about flashing via MiFlash, simply just don't.

Hello there, I'm having a similar problem that the owner of this thread had, but the difference is that the adb doesn't detects my device.
I've tried to reinstall all the drivers, and downloaded the Android SDK tools, but still doesn't works...
Any idea about what to do? The device is with the screen in black, no led blinks or anything like that, and when connected to the PC, only detrects the Qualcomm 9008 port...
Thank you in advance.
Now after some research, I found out that the "ADB interface" is not showing in Windows device manager
I tried to install it manually, but can't find a way to get it working, and after the flash, USB debugging was set on, so can't figure out what could be happening...
Is it possible it's completely dead?
Any idea?

Thanks to valuable help from Emmaus and DanRO from zukfans.eu I managed to render my phone operable once more and now it runs flawlessly. This recovery is a life-saver for anyone experiencing bricking or malfunction issues:
https://yadi.sk/d/DfTYl-jz3Cxg76
_The first thing to do is to enter fastboot menu (pressing vol rockers will help)
_Then you will need to unlock bootloader with the dedicated commands:
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash unlock unlock_bootloader.img
fastboot -i 0x2b4c oem unlock-go
For noobs or newcomers: Be informed that you will need the OEM bootloader image from ZUK website through giving your credential and phone's serial number for unlocking, you can see the instructions on the forum or by googling it.
_After unlocking your bootloader you should flash the aforementioned and link-given recovery with the following commands:
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery twrp_name.img
(Replace "twrp_name" with the name of the downloaded image and without quotes)
_Once you successfully enter TWRP Recovery menu, you can either flash a TWRP-flashable file or else, by tapping reboot button you can select EDL (9008) option to open 9008 port on QPST for being able to flash any official firmware.
_Check your internal storage on flashing TWRP-flashable ROMs. In my case, after I flashed recovery and then a CM-based ROM (AICP), I saw that the phone had only a 9GB-size as internal storage. If you happen to face the same issue, just flash an official firmware on QPST, as this problem occurs due to bad partitioning, at least that is what it seems.
Ask anything for any further details.
Thanks.
Can't power off....help!
Hi all.
My Z2 Plus is old 4 day! Buyed from Gearbest, i flashed the latest stock CN Firmware with QFIL, unlocked bootloader, installed CN TWRP and flashed GizRom 1.1 from Franck076,
After this, i backupped all from TWRP and flashed Francko76 Global v7 and Mokee Official 7.1.1 for test. To return to normal use, i restored the backup GizChina Rom 1.1 and i rebooted.
DISASTER!
My Zuk Z2 screen is black, no flashing led, it's vibrate every 25/30 seconds andt there's no way that i can power off! I read so many guides to unbrick, but all say that the phone is switched off. In every tested so it continues to vibrate...
Please, help me!
Also I am Now Bricked
When Z2Pro was hung up during QFIL connection with EDL mode, It cannot but wait until battery empty because it does not reaction to the reboot with the VOL PowerBtn's switch either.

Have you figured out a way?
Hi all,
received a Z2 pro, flashed with multi language rom, without OTA upgrades. When sim inserted, there was no connection to the network. After several attempts, i decided to send it back.
Ordered from another shop a new 2 ro, ( i know, very stupid to try twice) and this time, when tried to flash it from multi language rom, with an official one, it was bricked. Deep flash trick and.....
Tried several times to open HS-USB QDloader 9008 and once every 20 times it was a success. But, Sahara error all the time in qfil and hallo packet error in miflash. I'm out of ideas,.... Do you hve any?
Guys,
My ZUK Z2 Pro (bootloader unlocked) after finish loading the entire system (android) and appear the home screen, it reboots itself. When its boot it connected to PC, it does not reboot and after 5s I can remove cable and use it without problems. If the cable is in charge adapter, it also has the same problem.
Summary: I always need to turn on it connected in PC (with drivers installed) and wait 5s after finished loading all OS + startup APPs to not reboot alone. I install TWRP for good but no change to install custom ROM as it comes in loop after loading bootloader. Only ROMs that are stock, installed using QFIL works.
Do you have any idea?
Btw: I was using Mokee Rom without problems but after starting somes Frameworks apps te rom bricked out.
No 9008
Hello, i am new here and posted a reply in a different place. I think the wrong thread, so i will write here too.
I have a Zuk Z2 Pro. Unlocked bootloader, TWRP (twrp-3.2.1-0-z2_row.img) and installed several roms to try out. Then i read about a new ZUI and wanted to flash it. But, i made a mistake and now my phone is bricked. I read all about unbricking and flashing wit QFIL, but (and like others) my pc does not recognize my phone anymore. I can not work with adb (windows commands) and in QFIL i can not get the needed 9008 port. I installed all the needed stuff, but nothing.
Can someone help me out please. I already followed all the stept in some tutorials, but i get stuck with this 9008, which will not appear.
Phone does not start up. Recovery is gone, only menu with fastboot, recovery etc. is there. And the ZUI screen (from the rom i wanted to install) but the screen does not respond anymore, so i can not begin with setting the phone.
Is there a solution so i can flash with QFIL?
Or another solution?
Thanks,
Alex
Update 18-03-2018
This worked for me to get the needed 9008 port for flashing with QFIL:
- Open QFIL
- Phone must be off
- Connect usb cable to pc (not to phone yet)
- press volume up + power button and immediately connect usb cable to phone
- phone will vibrate 3 time (screen stays black/off)
- pc recognizes phone (there is this familiar sound of your pc)
- In QFIL you wil see port 9008
- just flash and wait till it's done
Off course you must have drivers etc installed on your pc, all the needed stuff for flashing. Don't forget to charge you phone.
I bricked my lenovo z2 plus, it is not booting to ROM or fastboot, it only vibrates after I hold the power button, and keeps vibrating every 10 sec, can anybody help me??

EDL stuck after flashing October Patch with MiFlash

Hello everyone, I wanted to open a topic here because I'm about 6 hours that I'm trying, but without any success ...
practically, after flashing via MiFlash (the latest version available) the update of 8.1.0 with the patches of October, the smartphone has started correctly, and then, suddenly turn off and go into EDL mode.
I tried all the possible combinations with the keys, but the result is that it simply always goes to EDL (the computer, also in Device Manager, detects Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) ...
When i try to flash any rom stock, MiFlash detects the smartphone, but by flashing it gives me "hello packet not received" or, after flashing the firehose and abl me files from "You can not authorized to Download !!!" or, start the flash and then disconnect the smartphone by giving "can not read from port COM *number*".
I also tried to replace the files inside "images" by taking the files from Patched Programmer, but the result is always the same.
I really do not know how to continue ...
By chance, does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance for any help from you.

1)your bootloader is unlocked or not when you flash stock rom with MiFlash?(fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock critical and this will wipe all your data if you don't already use this command)
2)Hello packet not received is currently with USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 port, try USB 2.0 port and reboot your PC and the phone
3)If this not work try to use your warranty

Rooting an LG LMV405EBW with Android 10 installed... endless error experience?

Hey guys,
maybe I'm just dumb, maybe it's just horror. Let's start the journey of my problems. My Android version is 10, with security update from 1. December 2020. Software version "V30e-EUR-xx", Kernel 4.9.193. Model is LM-V405EBW. First, I tried following this guide:
[GUIDE] Unlock your LG V40 via 9008 mode (Every Variant except T-Mobile)
This Guide will explain how to unlock your LG V40 (Every variant except T-Mobile) Unlock Prerequisites: Make sure you have "Enable OEM Unlock" enabled in developer options, along with adb debugging. Very important. You'll be stuck with the red...

After finally getting the drivers to work and the phone being recognized as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" under "Kedacom USB Device" in the device manager in EDL mode, storage was set to ufs, the prog_ufs_firehose_Sdm845_lge.elf was selected, I loaded the v35eng.img onto the abl_a and every step seemed to work just as intended, until I entered the bootloader menu. When I try to set the command "fastboot oem unlock", it said:
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.002s
Under fastboot devices, my device says:
LMV405EBW80f37c1d
Isn't it supposed to say something like "LMV350..."? According to a YT video, it does (for me, makes sense with v35eng being flashed as well). And then I realized this guide was only supposed to work with Android Oreo. So I first tried to unlock the bootloader the official way, just to realize that LG has completely terminated the dev program and the ":fastboot flash unlock unlock.bin" command won't bring be anywhere, since I'll not be able to get the unlock.bin from LG. So I went on and tried to crossflash it back to Oreo... well...
Since the driver in the device manager said "LGE Mobile USB Serial Port" in download mode (while still saying "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" in EDL mode), I tried to flash an old Oreo .kdz for my exact device, first using LGUP, using this guide:
[GUIDE] LGUP for all (no root needed)
Greetings everyone, i go by the name Ainz Ooal Gown. Here i bring you the Official Guide on LGUP to fix a Brick of your device or to simply Cross flash/Upgrade your device from Windows. First things first if you try this and end up with a brick...

... stuck at error message. LGUp says:
Error: 0x6004, CrossDL
judypn_lao_eea>@judypn_la (can't read the rest)
Then I tried LG Flash Tool... again, stuck at error message, it says:
Please install CSMG B2C Client Tool
Select Tool -> B2C Client Setup Menu
Trying to get Flash Tool to work, I downloaded LG Mobile Support Tool, since it's supposed to have that B2C Client Tool (and not a single source of B2C Client Tool was online anymore), but that doesn't install at all, probably because LG terminated that as well.
Am I just THAT lost or is it really THAT hard to unlock a simple bootloader? Never experienced something even remotely as frustrating as that right here. Neither with the LG G3, nor G5, nor V30. Thinking about giving up... I mean, it still boots...
If you have the solution, I'd be very thankful of your help.
Edit: Found out myself. Not only abl_a.bin needs to be flashed via QFIL, but abl_b as well. When in fastboot mode, also just flash both backup .bins to the device and then restart.
