Well we almost waited for am year for the lollipop rom for N3N..
Initially we're thinking that we won't get any further update.. but eventually we got L update in december for Russian Exynos Variant. . I've flashed the same to my N3N India but I've observed that touchwiz has trimmed many features from L rom.. like GIEST USER which enables the user to switch to a guest user mode where your data is hidden from everyone.. like for relatives nd all.. you can switch to guest user and it'll hide your all data..
FACE UNLOCK FOR LOCKSCREEN- earlier i use to use faceunlock lockscreen.. and lollipop has a very fast and accurate face unlock feature but the same has been trimmed..do let me know if you find any other feature trimmed by touchwiz.. and solution too would be very helpful..

The face unlock is hidden in the Google settings app. The SMART SCROLL feature is removed. Also the Action Memo app became useless with this update. The Action Memos are stored in the S-Note app.

Okay so where do i find face unlock feature.. i tried but didnt find it in google settings app.. n yeah smart scroll is gone
I found it. You should add first a security method for the lockscreen (works with a pattern) then on the security menu (in general or more) you should see at the bottom smart lock then you'll find face unlock. It's the only way to trigger it.

I tried but there is nothing like smart lock.. its just pattern.. pin..password and swipe.. and even after using pattern as a security method i tried to find smart lock.. perhaps we dont have face unlock.. ehy would they hide it.?

Hmm well I didn't tested it yet but I think they removed it when you unlock yourself because not really everybody used it.

I do not know if i am the only one but since i installed 4.4 greenify started to work....weird.
How weird? Well every time i hibernate some apps the phone freeze and reset itself after close the app, when i installed 4.4.2 i tought will work fine but keep doing that so i unistall the app.
I do not know if someone has the same issue than me or if can tell me how to fix it

Did you also greenify processes with com in front of the name ? How about locationservices and locationservices(system). They're named like they are required for location ?

Active notifications cannot be targeted by Greenify. The 'Motorola Contextual Services' app can be and when hibernated it will cause issues with Moto Assist (only issue I see is inconsistency with driver assist. Sometimes it will detect that I'm driving but most of the time it doesn't recognize what's going on) but I have seen no problems with touchless controls or active notifications.

There were some battery problems with the new version. Though they have been fixed in the latest version (3.2)
This is the best fingerprint app whats out there. I use it a lot on my Note4 and will definitely use it on the S6edge+ when it is for sale here.

What is the reason for the use of Knox fingerprints Lockscreen? I'm having a few applications for personal reasons and very personal. I really need to get Knox to see if there's a new message? He has never been with Knox, but I think fe. Viber not notify me when I take a message when Viber installed only in areas Knox (without installed in the main account). Or I'm going to inform on call or message in any way?

As far as I am aware Knox won't notify you about a new message or call :$
If you protect your personal apps with FingerSecurity then there is a paid option to hide the sensitive data from the notifications of the protected apps

Hi. FingerLock and FingerSecurity are not the same app. (FingerLock can only be used with the Xposed Framework where FingerSecurity can be used without it )

Hey guys, hope someone can help.
Benn on B378 for a good while now. I like all the features but one thing is really annoying. Spotify music controls on the lock screen and nav bar are bugging out.
Say a song is playing, I click next track, instead of going next it will pause the song and if I click next song again, it will then skip the track.
Another issue is when pulling the navigation bar, because of the double swipe option on the spotify notification, it will bug out the whole notification panel.
Is this a normal issue with Android 7.0 or only Huawei? Or maybe even spotify?
If someone can confirm a working spotify on L09C432B378 then i'll know its my device.

Hey, I have the same issue on my P9. This issue is from the first beta of Android 7 for huawei P9. Moreover on Android 6 there was full Spotify widget on lockscreen. From Android 7 there is only small buged widget. Anyone has solution?

Huawei has it.. Also on First releases of MM the widget in lockscreen wasn't working until they solved ok some update... Sincerely I don't understand developers that commit same errors that was already presented and solved on previous firmwares... Drive me crazy... It works properly only with Huawei's Music app and Google play music...

I agree with you. It's annoy me at all. Almost every mobile device regardless of mobile OS I ever had always something didn't work...
So, we have to wait until this little but annoying issue will be solved by Huawei.

I am giving an opportunity to Google play music (without monthly charge) just to play my own library... But I had to buy equalizer app as is not by default on equipments not pixel... Or not stock I don't understand why Emui do not brings a simple equalizer at least... But in general I am more than satisfied with this Huawei P9 and it's Emui... Minor bugs imho but less battery backup than with MM.

I would love to see this feature implemented soon. Live wallpaper is a must for today's smartphones even though it's a drain on battery.
Did anyone know what´s missing to use LiveWallpapers...something we can fix by software fixes or tweaks...

Yes, it worked with pretty every live wallpaper I tried. I used the Pixel 2 live wallpaper though.
Is there a toggle for the new (stupid in my opinion) waterdrop overlay around the notch?
I really like the original, hardware U shaped notch that is closer to Essential than to 6T and being forced with the new overlay would be annoying.
Finally....... i thought I was the only one who thinks it's stupid to round of the notch with dark pixels.
But for now, no you can't switch it off.

There is (or soon will be) an update that allows hiding of the notch!

But in a lot of apks (gallery, games) the display isn't full screen so the notch isn't (always) a problem [emoji4].
