Hi Folks
Hope someone can help. Any issue with my mothers phone of all people
I bought her a new MOTO G2 last year unlocked the bootloader rooted and installed TWRP so I could install certain apps on it.
Today she said her phone was not working so I checked it out. It boots with the motorola start up and then just a blank screen . I tried a factory reset same thing. So I thought ,might as well try a ROM. I flashed 3 ROM's via TWRP the last one been minimal O2, I also flashed CM12 and I also flashed the stock rom all via TWRP as I can not use fastboot as the device it is not recognized by the computer
When I flash the ROM's and GAPPS with CM12 it just stays on a continues load screen . The CM12 logo, likes its loading to boot, it just never changes and the same for minimal OS.
So I flashed stock rom and same as before it loads past the boot up screen and then a blank screen
I can not flash stock via fastboot as my computer is not recognizing it so I was wondering if any one ever encountered an issue like and how they got around it as I am at a complete loss now. I have plenty of rooted phones over the last few years the latest been my G4 and I am yet to see a problem like
Any help would begreatly appreciated Thanks folks

Hi Guys
Ever since i did the stock 4.4.2 update my phone has become unusable (being out of warranty I decided to take matters into my own hands)
I rooted my One (M7) and flashed TWRP recovery onto it with success, from there I wiped it and tried to install a custom 4.3 ROM. TWRP flagged up the install with another 'success' and told me to reboot the phone. After the reboot it got stuck on the HTC splash screen and after frustration I hard reset the phone thinking I could just try installing another ROM, wrong!
I can't get into recovery, when I select it the phone attempts to start recovery and then reboots and gets stuck on the HTC splash screen again, I can't do anything other than get into fastboot at the moment.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm new to this and although I have a pretty decent computer knowledge I've always left my mobile stock. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm using TWRP 2.6.3.0 and the rom is called 'Stock w Goodies 2.10' found here .
Sorry I'm not at home at the moment but I'll update this later when I'm able to post the fastboot results.
Hi everyone, I'm having a weird issue since this morning and could not solve it yet, maybe someone can help me.
Basically I tried to dirty flash the new nightly of CM12.1 using TWRP 2.8.6.0 and it got stuck. After rebooting the device I could not get to twrp anymore (strangely) and then I tried to reflash it (two different versions) with no success.
With my device being in this state (without booting into OS and with no recovery access) I had to download the stock 5.0.2 for the XT1068 and flash it using fastboot. It can now boot up normally into stock ROM and restored the stock recovery, but now any custom recovery I flash it does not work. I had two different results on two versions of twrp:
2.8.5.0 - After flashing it and trying to access it the device shows the "unlocked bootloader" screen and then reboots itself and goes to the ROM without even getting into TWRP.
2.8.6.0 - After flashing it and trying to access it the device goes to the "unlocked bootloader" screen and freezes there. I have then to hold the power button for a long time (about 1,5 min) and then the device boots the stock ROM.
Anyone can give any idea of what I can do? I even tried to lock and unlock the bootloader again, flash CWM, flash TWRP and nothing. At least the device is booting, so it is not a urgency, but any help is appreciated!

I got it, a stupid reason for all issues I was having. The issue was with my router, that was set to use a internal firewall which was screwing up a lot of my downloads, and the ROM and TWRP files just got into this issue.
After reconfiguring my router everything worked out, which make me fell stupid for not thinking about this before hahaha, but at least it is fixed
Thanks for everyone who took a time to read this and sorry for any inconvenience!
Using my Moto Maker XT1060 (Verizon variant). I had unlocked bootloader some time ago using Sunshine and was previously using the most up-to-date VZW 4.4.4 firmware.
I got sick of waiting for VZW to release the Lollipop update so I figured I would try CM 12.1. Here's what I did:
Download the latest Dev Edition recovery firmware from Motorola (VZW_212.55.26.ghost_verizon.Verizon.en.US.tgz)
Flashed it to the device using fastboot successfully for a stable and clean base
Booted up and used the phone no problem
Downloaded the CM12.1 Nightly .zip file
Downloaded the latest TWRP and flashed it
Booted into recovery no problem
Used TWRP to do a factory reset
Installed CM .zip
Restart the phone normally
The phone was able to load CM and get to the Startup Wizard, but was caught in a soft bootloop (no rebooting from bootloader and buzzing, but the system would crash and the CM boot animation would come up, then repeat). I noticed this was happening at about the same time that the "Location" icon was appearing in the notification tray, so I figured it was an issue with GPS. I rebooted and cleared modemst1 and modemst2 using fastboot, but this yielded no results.
At that point I figured "to hell with it" and flashed the Motorola recovery firmware back onto it using fastboot. Now the damn thing is stuck in a soft bootloop and won't get past "Preparing device..."
No idea what happened, I have never experienced anything like this before (fully flashed 6 other devices at this point). Any help is appreciated as of all the devices I have worked with, this one is actually my personal phone. Figures it would be the one to get screwed up somehow...
Did you format/wipe /data or perform a factory reset before booting into CM?

Hi,
I've got a bit of a problem here I've wiped my phone to install a new ROM (The recovery failed to install it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) and now I went to fast boot and I have NO OS system on my phone I've used stock zip for the recovery but it will say it has been installed and when i boot it nothing happens it will show the HTC logo and then will turn off and when i go to check the fast boot it will show the OS but nothing next to it I've been trying all day and nothing has worked and the last thing I don't want to do is send it in for repair again....If there is anyone out on the forums who had this problem and fixed this I will be really grateful..
Thanks
Hi guys,
So I had a stock T-Mobile LG G4 H811 that I had unlocked and booted into twrp version 3.1.1-1-g4. I wasn't able to actually flash recovery of this .img becuase of a write failure. So I booted into it instead and then installed it from within twrp into the recovery partition. The actual stock software was the ORIGINAL original, which I think was android 5.1.1
From there, I cleared the cache and delvik cache and installed the G4-H811-10N-xTreme-2.0 Rom. Now, I can't boot into recovery mode anymore, and all I get is the bootloop.. but it's not dead yet because it's a software issue on my part and not a hardware failure.
Any advice on how to get it to recovery mode or at least so I can boot into twrp somehow to try and get this fixed? I tried Power+Volume Down and then let go a sec and Power+Vol Down again and it won't work at all. Just goes straight to bootloop.
Thanks in advance.. I know I screwed up somewhere.. just so many loopholes, it's easy to miss.
Best,
Johnnie
Got somewhere, still broke
Well, somehow I managed to boot into recovery mode only 1 time and installed the stock Tmobile rom. It installed, but now I get a white T-Mobile screen on boot up and it stays there. I tried using the LG Flash Tool 2014 and the stock T-Mobile H811 10N firmware for T-Mobile, but all I get is connection to server errors and the software won't install to the phone over download mode. Anyone else have this problem? I've been trying to figure this stupid thing out for 6 hours. Also, I'm wondering if installing the stock firmware caused the original recovery partition to go back to stock too which is the reason I'm no longer able to boot into recovery mode? It just doesn't recognize it. Power+vol down and then vol down doesn't do anything.
When using the LG Flash Tool 2014, all I get is Connection to Server Failed, Try again. So I do, and nothing. It fails at 9%
Thanks.
