It has come to my attention that Huawei has removed a rollback patch 3.0 > 2.3 from their officials websites.
Therefore i'll be posting it here for anyone who might need it. Rollback from 3.1 > 3.0 is still available on official Huawei websites.
Rollback 2.3 here (Google Drive | 254MB):

Also they removed the old firmware from their official sites, so i'll be posting that here as well

First, you need this rollback file from EMUI 3.1 to 3.0:
http://consumer.huawei.com/de/mobile-phones/support/downloads/detail/ascend-p7-de.htm?id=56512
Then, you need this rollback file from EMUI 3.0 to 2.3:

Keep me updated of your progress,
Milan
Thank you will do it
I forgot to mention that after installing rollback 2.3, you'll need to install the actuall 2.3 firmware that complies with your region, like B121 or B126 if you're from Europe (+-1GB), but you probably know that

Huawei Mate S Firmware(CRR-UL00, Android5.1, EMUI 3.1, C433B146, UAE)
as close to b146 as possible
Thanks but to change the location to C433 to C470 would defeat the object as the Marshmallow beta in this instance is for C433 only. I have run C470 and the raw C000 but happy with C433. I still hold a copy of C433B146.
Thanks but someone must have it or why would they set it as a base target ton upgrade from?

Hi All,
I am new here and have just installed what I thought was a version of Android 7 with EMUI 5.0 onto my P9. It looks and feels like 7/5.0 (it has the app draw ect.) but on the about phone page it states the following:
Model Number - A168-L09
Build Number - EMUI-A168-L09C900B040SP11-log
EMUI version - 3.1
Android version - 5.1
I am very confused, is this just a skin? Am I able to get back to Android 6 / EMUI 4 if it is? Will I get updates if I stay on this version?
Seems like you have one of the first OTAs for P9. You Have Android 5.1 with EMUI 3.1, not 7.0 with EMUI 5.0
Can you provide some screenshots? It'll be easier to check it

It's the leaked Nougat beta from July-August.
Search on this forum to go back to EMUI 4.1 from EMUI 5.0

There's already a thread about this

Hi friends, I have a Huawei P7 with this firmware version: L10V100R001C00B121SP01 and EMUI 2.3.
I would like to update. I already unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP 2.8.1.0 using adb.
I like MyRom 3.3 with EMUI 3.0 but I read that, as a requirement, if you want to flash it via TWRP you must have already EMUI 3.0 ROM installed or B602 or B609 ROM.
Do I have to update firstly to some intermediate ROM? isn't possible to overwrite my B121 version with another, latest, ROM?
Please suggest me any other rom or firmwares to give new life to this device.
thank you in advance.
