Like as subject, I've bought a chipper not original cover for note 5. Which I worried that cover doesn't works in S-view.
Anybody has a piece of advice to get to works that one ?

original s view cover has chip built in and at least two very small magnet... all under the cloth of original Samsung cover... so it'll be hard to duplicate
try play store for various apps that might come close to what you want.... I did use one once but can't remember the name of the app
Thank you, I'd think something as that

Hello,
I am looking for a good case for my nexus. The problem is I'm located in Spain, and all the good ones (like the Blurex Ultra Slim) aren't available here.
I finally bought an el-cheapo faux leather smart cover in eBay. It works well and looks pretty good. The problem is that it has 2 magnets to keep it closed and one of them interferes BADLY with the compass (it just doesn't work with tha tablet in the case). I've been reading that if you leave your compass near a magnet for too long, you can damage it, so I'm going to return the case.
Now I don't know what to do... I'm thinking about buying the official travel case for 19.95€, but I think it is too expensive for what it offers. Any suggestion that I can buy from Spain?
Thanks!

Good idea
Sombody tried the "IVSO® Google Nexus 7 Tablet Slim-Fit Folio Cover Case"? (sorry, I can't post links yet...)
It looks good, but I want to make sure the magnet plays well with the compass (don't want to end up returning it like my eBay case). Has anybody bought it?
Thanks!
I think this is a good option (find first ebay link) for us

Looks great! Has someone checked if this one has problems with the compass? it seems this one also has a magnet to keep it closed.
I don't want to buy it just to discover I can't use Sky Map with it again
Thanks!!
Thinking about buying one of these. I like blue a lot. Blue blue! Was curious about fit? Anyone have one? Thoughts?

These are awesome. Buy it. That blue is gorgeous. I got the original titanium one. Lucky you found a us seller. These back covers will also be compatible with most if not all cases you already have since it is a teeny bit thicker than stock. Also you'll love the feel of it!
Right now eBay has many us sellers for these.

No, but you can just pull the card out of the original cover and place it in the new one.
NFC will not work with this back door what so ever. FYI

I look at them because I don't use NFC. Not enough people and business have it to make it relevant enough.

Have you tried? I understand the idea that it may not because it's metal obviously, but you really never know until you try

For me its basically the same. Amazing
I notice where I usually have 1 bar hspa that with the aluminum back it's 2-3 bars of Edge.. Mine came with the NFC but it doesn't work any way I try.
If you have plenty of service all the time, then I highly recommend it. I currently use a carbon fiber black leather door.
Just ordered. Waiting to get it mid week. Will report back with my finding. I have a galaxy note 2 on vzw.

Has anyone tried one of these replacement nfc chips?
NFC Chip on Ebay
I just got a new case back and am a little hesitant to pry up the old one.
This this makes my note 2 look very unique! Signal not effected at all! I have more grip now also. here are is a pic on the phone.

Bought both aluminum back and spare nfc chip
thought i chime in because i have a red aluminum back - it wouldn't work with the spare nfc chip i bought from ebay at all - at first i thought it was the chip but carefully place the chip on the phone without the back cover and using a piece of tape to test without the cover proved otherwise
so i then knew it was the alumnium backing - but idk about you guys i barely use the nfc feature
I just ordered this one a carbon fiber one from eBay and the seller says the NFC chip will work fine. I'll post once I receive and test it.
I ordered a nfc chip from ebay. The first one didn't work and they are sending out a new one.

I have the black version and my NFC works like a charm..
I had a jean on with metal parts above the pockets, when i have received that cover. I installed it and the back got full of scratches in a few hours. The aluminum cover is so soft and ductile, that it wont stand a chance against the metal zips of your clothes. Also the signal gets reduced. Wifi signal changes about 20% and if the gsm signal is lost on a boat tour you can get two bars of signal if you remove the cover.
Hey Guys,
I just bought myself a Samsung flip cover, although it looks genuine, im a bit skeptical and would like to know what you guys think based on the photos. Also, the first time i had it on the flip cover wasnt fully sitting on the screen, however, now after a few hours its alright. Moreover, the edge of the flip cover doesnt have that rubber coating that can be seen on the S3 flip cover. I could've bought it from the samsung store but i found it a bit cheaper from this other phone shop. Anyways, ive posted all the photos so hope i get some opinions. Cheers.
Heres an additional photo of the box. Im not sure if it makes any difference but it says that it was manufactured on 2013.03.12 and Model Number : EFC-1J9FWEGSTD
Don't Worry

It looks real enough to me. I have the grey version and an orange version from Samsung and both of them are the same as yours including the packaging they came in. There is no rubber thing on the version for the Note II and mine didn't feel like it fit flush either at first but after a few days in it should mold perfectly to it.

Actually i was surprised as to why it wouldn't sit flush on the screen considering i never had this issue with the genuine flip cover for the S3. I bought this for like $17.70 compare that to the $40 price tag from the official samsung store and its a big win. Anyways, thanks alot for your input.

To be honest many fakes aren't actually fake but just defective Samsung products that people take and sell cheap on ebay or Amazon. So if it had an nfc sticker and looks good to you then that price is great.

I am visiting Taipei at the moment and was able to purchase the official TF701 case direct from Asus. This case does add a little thickness to the tablet. Unlike the older covers, it is not using the bottom slots. Instead a semi transparent hard plastic back cover snaps in place protecting the entire tablet. All openings align perfectly, power and volume buttons feel responsive. As seem in the picture, you have to open the front cover to charge the tablet, there are no openings on the bottom of the case when closed. Aside from the little added weight and thickness, I am liking the case. One thing to point out is that the case does enable the auto screen on/off function. Screen on somehow takes a while and is not instantaneous, most of you are already experiencing this even without the case.

Yes it is an Asus product - it's listed on their site as well. You have to remove it to use the dock.
what's the easiest way to remove the tab from the case?
I have this case and the dock too.
I find it very difficult to remove the tab fro the case... is there a trick for this?

No it's a *****! Found doing 2 sides (shorts sides) helps but it doesn't want to come off very easily at all.
Hi all,
I'm planning to replace my N7105's midframe (the chrome bit going around the sides of the phone), and was wondering whether anyone had any experiences with doing this? I'm really worried that if I take the midframe off, the power or volume buttons may not work on the new one etc etc.
I was hoping to follow THIS guide from iFixIt to do it.http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Samsung+Galaxy+Note+II+Midframe+Replacement/16407
It should be fine. Just make sure that when replacing the midframe, you put the headphone jack end in first, because it has a rubber grommet that can get caught in between the screen and the midframe if you put it in last.

Interesting!!!
Dude ,
I also want to do same. Please let me know the best midframe u find till date with price if possible with link also.
Thanks in advance.
I tried doing it with 2 different midframes and both ended up messing up my WiFi and Bluetooth. Note sure why, all the contacts were connecting. When I went back to the original they both worked fine. Let me know if that happens when you change yours.

I too had this problem when I replaced the midframe once. Later I bought a new one and the problem was solved. You should tighten up the screws near the microsd slot.

On Ebay, use these exact search terms:
"Black Carbon Fibre Skin Sticker Full Body Wrap For Samsung Galaxy Note 2 II"
"Aluminum Metal Bumper Case cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 Gray"
