Sweet. I've been hoping this would be available. All I've ever wanted is stock rooted to run Ad-Away and Greenify.
There is already a thread for this @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428
please refer there
Why is N910G with 5.1.1 not supported?
I have a question guys. Am I able to root my N910F without power button and volume up button? Both buttons are broken, but I would like to root my device anyway.

Huh, maybe this will improve the lag issues some folks with 8.4s have been seeing?

The only improvement I've noticed so far is that youtube videos load instantly, which I believe you stated when you got your update. Maybe things are slightly snappier too, but that could just be in my head. Other than that I can't say I've noticed anything else.

It looks like the T705 is a revision behind, because I updated my 8.4 LTE to NF8 yesterday. And when I look a list of stock firmwares at Sammobile, it confirms the trend. Could be just the same update with different number.
Don't see any more improvement on the video playback.

Wish they would just release Lollipop instead of incremental Kitkat updates.
App list (left button) seems to be much faster now.
Also there are some reports about better reception.
Anyone else install then re root without issues?

Lollipop is riddled with bugs right now, I'd rather they wait for 5.0.1 or something like that, 5.0 seems to still need a whole lot of work.
I have install it and root and no problem here! In my opinion it's a little smoother

OK, sooooo, I'm new to Samsung and Kies and Odin.
Have everything down, got firmware on Odin, press start and nothing happens.
Except on my phone in download mode there a big yellow triangle with à '!' On it that says, do I want to flash a custom ROM press volume up, down to cancel.
That yellow triangle is a frightening thing... Looks like a biohazard warning! I canceled. Am I supposed to say yes and press volume up?
Does the phone explode and release a sinister purple haze?
Please advise.

I did upgrading from stock kitkat using odin v3.09 (dirty flash). Wifi and internet speed feel much faster. If we upgrade with dirty flash method, our existing language still continue and it is upgrading only the system firmware. Will see the battery performance.

For the tablet version without the pen, the SM-T580 the EU update did roll out yesterday.
Build version here is MMB29K.T580XXU2APL4. Kernel build date December 27th. Android security patch level also December 1st.
I didn't notice any differences or any new features which the changelog hints at. Performance and battery runtime seems to be the same as before.

On the T585 we still have the security patch from july..
No sign of it on a UK T580 yet
Still no update on my T580 yet.
I have already rooted mine, will not bother with this one, will wait for android N 7.0
Just bought my Tab A with S pen, and it apparently shipped with the December 1st update. Given that noone had any in stock 2 weeks ago, and Best Buy suddenly had 7 or so (the app tells you stock levels sometimes)... I'd say that new units currently ship with the new updates...

Is it beccause I am rooted that it does not want to update?
If so, How can I install the latest update?
Thanks

It is not because your are not rooted. There has simply not been an update for the US yet. Still on the version listed above.

This probably puts the update time frame in May which was originally indicated by Samsung a few months ago so they are on track. Good.
