[Q] Google photosphere

It seems that nobody's able to capture photosphere with Ascend P7. Nor I am with mine.
It saves always a zero-length file in the gallery.
Is there any troubleshoot for this disturbing bug ?

I'd try it on MIUI to see if the problem is just ROM-related and not unsupported hardware, but unfortunately I don't have much spare time to do it. Maybe you do?

Unfortunately it's a known bug

On my P7 L10 with B607 it works.. Under B133 it didn't, so I think we could hope to get it working with the emui 3.0 update

Youtube App crashing after Emui 3.1

After upgrading to Emui 3.1, the Youtube app doesn't work anymore. When i try to look any video, only i get the charging icon like if i haven't internet -obviously i have-... Any suggestions, comments?

Do you install 805 via force update?
Try to wipe cache + davilink ...

No, my install comes by OTA. In fact, i make the wipe cache after install... :/

I think the easyst way is an force install of b805. Then all is clean and smooth.

How to force install update.zip?For me that option doesnt work,only with full update.app stock rom.

If no full update avaliable of a New Rom, it is logical that i make a clean install with force flash of the latest rom + update.

can anyone try Snapchat on lollipop 5.1.1 ?
I have problem on kitkat,, I can't record full 10 sec. Also can't prevent beauty mood .
If it's solve on lollipop maybe I will update , but if still exist no need to update

This is a common bug in B805.
A lot of people who updated to this version are having this problem, as you can see from the reply's on this post.
KEEP IN MIND THAT B805 IS IN BETA AND THERE IS NO STABLE RELEASE FOR EMUI 3.1 ON P7 YET!!
So it would probably be better to downgrade to EMUI 3.0 (which i did after experiencing the problem) or wait for a stable release of EMUI 3.1

Don't be too disappointed when it will not work with our devices. In the past nearly no Chinese rom or miui rom worked without problems (like disorted voices for many people, depending on their operator).
But thanks anyway for sharing! Maybe it works fine even it is not presumably..

The ROM ils great even if thé phone doesn't work.
M'y Wish ils to find a patch to make it work on pour p7 L 19.

i install it in my p7-l10 and it was very good ROM & you will receive an update of 11.59 mb
nice themes and system
but you can not use it as daily system as it have a lot of reports every time

just flashed it, p7-l10, everything works well, really awesome, no errors, with only one exeption, calls are distorted, but when changing network mode to 2g only, even calls work fine, seems like a fairly simple patch, looking forward for updates, or if someone comes up with a fix.

it is a wonderful ROM except the network force close
if any one can do a flash able zip to fix that ROM will be great than lollipop

very strange, as I stated, I have p7-l10(europe) version, and no force closes, everything is still stable, exept from the fact that it has to be on 2g mode only not to get distorted voices on call.

for me p7-l10 i must be on airplane mode to make it works , no network ,
if i remove the airplane mode the phone will catch the network for a sec then it cut again then a force close then catch for sec the network then again cut & foreclose

I started up the update app and got a notification that there was an update.
Strange thing is im on B370 and this update is only 244mb big.
I saw the leaked B380 was more than 1.4gb??

no, i flashed manually

I flashed manually too but that isn't possible with an OTA file officially. We only flashed a file that is 60mb big

youre right, we need to wait, ach, those huawei updates, never ending story... , its android 7 already and we still dont have final fully function marshmallow, unbelievable, and the best of all, we wont even get Nougat

What isn't fully functioning then?
And I'm starting to think that you are very hard to please
I've had Samsung, HTC and Sony phones, but never in 1year I've had so many updates as with this Huawei.

B380 is pretty good actually, i was talking more about overall update experience, many people still dont have marshmallow and are stuck on HORRIBLE lolipop even if they dont have this phone from mobile operator like orange, telekom for example, where its a much longer period of time to get update. Me and you are lucky that we are able to flash every new rom, wether its OTA from someone or leaked beta, but most people are still stuck at B317 or older where are not only bugs, but some functions are missing from B380 (for example more user profiles) this update shoud have been there for about half year and not now, its a bit late i thing considering that it was last year flagship, but thats only my opinion, not to mention that there was not 5.1 android (dont count beta that was never officialy released) so it was bassicaly only launch 5.0 android and update to many unfinished marshmallow updates, pretty bad support i think
PS dont forget we wont get Nougat update

That is your opinion indeed, personally I'm not missing anything. I use it for whatsapp, email, Facebook and Camera and some other apps of course. Only thing is find a bit irritating is battery life. On lollipop I easily got 2 days with 4,5 hours of screen time with Bluetooth and WiFi on all the time. Now I have to charge every night.

Yeah, unfortunately looks like this is only available as an OTA from B370 & not B380, which was an incomplete, leaked version.
So, anyone who downgrades from B380 to B370 should be able to get it (in theory anyway).

Well, i had on lollipop hardly half of day without wifi or any installed app, MM helped a lot, there are many people with different experiences on each version, not sure why is that

I have TWRP installed, so I can not flash it via dialer, because each time I ended up in TWRP. What should I do?

In my opinion Lollipop was better - more functional and with much better battery life. I was easily getting abour 3,5-4 hours of screen-on time over even 3 days of use, now I'm getting about 2,5h (up to 3 hours) in one or two days. Marshmallow is rubbish.

Guessing you are on B370:
Extract recovery.img from B370 full UPDATE.APP
Flash recovery.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Do OTA update
Enjoy.
Once everything is good flash TWRP
If you flashed a different kernel you have to extract and flash boot.img too before OTA update

Landscape mode is Available for Note8 Now!

After I updated the touchwiz from Galaxy Apps,
I got the feature of landscape mode!

You can update Samsung Experience through Galaxy Apps.

I dont have the update in Galaxy App.. (in Google Play too)..

Yes and working fine on N950F with CRF4 firmware, install like a normal apk.

I'm having a weird issue where it force closes when trying to put an app from the drawer to home screen. But I'm just glad I can landscape mode on stock launcher now

Same thing here, cant long press icons for options either, it just FC. Uninstalled and went back to older version for now. Functionality beats landscape mode for me. Will wait till it gets updated the normal way. But thanks for the heads up on this!
