- What is FUSE?
Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1970138
- First of all know that:
There will be a full DATA WIPE will erase the internal memory also.
I am not responsible for any damage that may occur.
I have performed this operation more than 20 times and have not had any problems.
Once this flashing the ROM, do not unplug the cable to complete the operation.
- About this ROM
This ROM is based on CM10 "20121030-NIGHTLY-P990" and has got CWM 6.0.1.5.
It's exactly the same except for the change in the ramdisk and the file "storage_list.xml".
- How to install the ROM?
In this case we can not use CWM, since before we partition the EMMC.
We follow the following steps:
· Unzip the file. ZIP
· Turn off the device.
· Remove the battery.
· Press Vol + and Vol-and connect the USB cable.
· Double-click the file flash.bat and wait about 3 minutes.
· Unplug the USB cable.
· Insert the battery.
· Switch on the device
· Optionally: Boot in recovery mode and install last gapps
- I can go back to the state before partitioning?
Yes, I'll upload another file to return to the previous, still using nVFlash that is posted on this forum you can also return to the previous state.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975274
- I can still install CM nightly?
No, because if it is an upgrade, be crushed file "storage_list.xml" and ramdisk. As a result, you can still use the phone, but will not recognize the internal partition.
If one accepts this change in the repository of P990, we can make updates as always.
- First install? Download this:
http://progmaq.com/cm10/progmaq-newfuse.zip
- Updates? Yeah, this is last build (Install by CWM):

No system partition fuse!
New partition is DATA + EMMC.

But can you use the external sd, of for example 16GB as data+sdcard?

I understand your explanation about merging both DATA and EMMC partition. But I am asking if you have modified the size of the system partition, which is a bighandicap in CM10.
And I repeat myself again: you should give credits.

To CM for CM10, RC for p990 repo and me for implement fuse in cm10.
System partition has 384 mb now. (+34 mb)
Cache partition has 128 mb now (+64 mb)
With this, full paranamic photos don't crash for me
I really like the idea and wish it was the default :good:
I also wish you'd put the credits in the first post, it's not that hard :highfive:

The answer is no. This ROM has bugs from CM10 + bugs introduced by the KANG itself.
So please when using this KANG never report bugs to CM10 thread because bugs should come from KANG.
Also if you want to contribute to CM10 debugging avoid using KANG till end of the month. I am talking as an anonymous user who is willing a robust CM10 ROM as fast as possible : you certainly understand that KANG introduce debugging noise.
Otherwise ProgMaq thank you for your efforts.

Can fuse be combined with stock based custom roms?
Good development
This is nice. I will test it on the weekend.
Can you provide an CWM flashable file just for the changes on ramdisk and storage_list.xml?
This way, after flashing the first time with nVFlash, we can update nightlies as usual and flash the file after that.
Maybe the storage_list.xml file can be kept just by placing it on the custom_backup_list.txt file. But I dont know how to keep ramdisk when flasing a new nightly.

Factory Reset
Format system
Format dalvik cache
flash the .zip packages (ROM > patch if needed > wifi modules > baseband libs)
Reboot (Remember, first boot ALWAYS takes the longest)
Go through the setup process
leave to settle for 5-15 minutes
Open super user and update the binary files
Reboot
Your ready to go!
How to make this ROM Better/Faster

thanks! i am curious so i tried installing this, but i wasn't successful. i put doomkernel v22, format data/cache/dalvik, and installed the rom.
however after the progress bar gets filled, its just hanged (see attached pic).
long press on the power restores control back in CWM main menu, and i did format data/cache/dalvik again, then finally reboot.
after that, the phone just remains hanged on the doomkernel logo.
EDIT : i tried Xperia Plus Version 9, and the same issue happens. just for isolation i tried reinstall arconium 8.2 and it installs without that problem.
any suggestion?

Your not giving it long enough. Install either again and leave it for 5 minutes. The status bar is setup badly so it shows its complete when its not
I am trying to fix it in v10 of xperia plus and v1.10 of xperia slim. Just testing v1.10 now

Search for jb odex,it should provide some extra space.
Try using minicm10,or jellybean by davee, they are most developed roms.
Btw. odex won't work with any davee's rom or with based on it (so probably all roms from yari too). For me litecm10 is great, it's just lighter minicm10. It's usable but only if you are not going to listen to music from phone, 4.1+x8+music=lags everywhere. But if you want jb look and fast rom just wait some time for optimus nexus me v6 - I've seen screens on facebook and it will be very very jelly
The best way to increase free space:
- drop every sh!t from the rom
- odex it
- remove all languages from the rom
- check how many mb used in /system and compile the kernel with new partition sizes
You can gain 20-25 mb after removing the languages (go into the minicm10 faq thread, I wrote earlier how to do it), you also gain another 40-50 mb additional space after changing the gigantic latinime and trebuchet to any normal sized app and removed the trash (wallpapers, ringtones, etc...)
You lost some space on /system after odexing, but you win lot of space on /data.
You can shrink the /system partition size in the kernel config to make bigger /data partition (and remove the /recovery partition, this is useless, only 10 mb wasted space).
If you do these steps, you can get free space on /data partition up to 250 mb.

Ćan you tell me best way for odex rom. I find some thead, but what kind you prefer?
I polished this for the xt907. It should work as is on the unlocked mb866. I have used Photon Q recovery & Rom Manager since I learned it was the first usable recovery for the Atrix HD.
Be sure to back up as it is untested on a mb866.
Adds initd support & SD swap. All storage defaults to storage0 (your real SD card) which is the way it should have been from Motorola, well closer anyway.
This internal SD ("data/media") memory now has no purpose. You can move what you want to your real SD & delete everything else to let the phone use it all.
UpDate I did not Know that TWRP 263 fails where Philz v6 succeeds.

Adds initd support & SD swap. All storage defaults to storage0 (your real SD card) which is the way it should have been from Motorola, well closer anyway.
I have revised my SD swap method. Now you can flash this to any stock rom as you like. Wipe dalvik & cache only. Good for SafeStrap roms too. Not for cm based, multuser, or anything but 4.1.2 stock roms!
This internal SD ("data/media") memory now has no purpose. You can move what you want to your real SD & delete everything else to let the phone use it all. All storage defaults to storage0 (your real SD card) which now is the way it should have been from Motorola, well closer anyway.
Always use Plilz v6 as it works as well as TWRP 263.
Always choose any NO when rebooting from CWMR.
Known issues:
Two things will Kill the SD swap: (by messing with install-recovery.sh)
1)Using TWRP older then v2.6 Or cwmr other than Philz v6.
2)If you boot from CWMR and choose yes to "disable recovery flash".
Also) If you mess with multiuser roms feel free to delete 0 , obb & legacy folders in internal sd (storage1).
One more) It is expected for your settings-storage info to be out of whack.
Finally) Create folder in root of the phone with Root Explorer results in an error but is the same as the Rabbit's version & of no consequence. The folder does get created anyway. All else works in the root of the phone.
Does that help?
Very good option for the stock lovers.

As you know all the apps are getting bigger and bigger and Xperia so with it's poor memory of can't handle all of the apps.
Recently I have some bad time with the ram memory (see the attachment)
I read about an app called "ROEHSOFT RAM Expander (SWAP)" it's paid app that use partition from sdcard on ram and it needs a kernal that support swap.
Does anyone tried that app ??
Is there any chance of a hardbrick??

I don't recommend, this will brick your sd card more soon than natural time

No you won't get hardbricked but you'd be doing yourself a deservice as the act of using SWAP is CPU intensive and will degrade your SD Card to a large extent due to many r/w operations that are required.
