Mobile connection not working marshmallow - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've searched and can't find an answer.
I'm on a custom ROM 6.0.1_r3, I've flashed the 5.32 radio, the WiFi works fine but I'm getting no Mobile connection. The LTE icon indicates that it's getting a signal. I was having this problem with the previous radio, too.

check to make sure that your APN is 100% accurate. one tiny mistake and it won't work.

Try setting to 3g, then back to LTE.
If that doesn't work, try toggling airplane mode.
If neither of those work, your APN is most likely not setup correctly.

I don't know where that is. In 5.0 it used to be under cellular settings, but not in marshmallow (not what I know what value to enter)

what network are you on??? you can try redownoading the ROM(gapps and SuperSU as well), then reflash them dirty, not wiping anything.

I don't know if sprint uses apns, as Verizon doesn't(another CDMA carrier).

So if Sprint doesn't use APNs, what's my next option?

Can I use AT&T HTC ONE on Sprint?

This question is maybe dumb, but I heard the Sprint version of the device actually works great on AT&T, so, may I ask if it's possible make it happens vice-versa and how to do it if possible?
Sadly I don't think this is possible. I don't think the AT&T htc one has support for CDMA. While the sprint htc one works on AT&T it's not a perfect experience because the sprint htc is missing some frequencies that AT&T uses.

Poor battery life after switching to T-Mobile?

What's up guys,
so I have a Motorola Moto Maxx XT1225 running 5.0.2 stock (rooted) and I'm currently getting about 3hs of screen on time.
I really don't know why or when this happened, but I used to get around 6~ average.
The only thing that changed is my carrier (I switched to T-Mobile). But still, I'm always with solid LTE signal / WiFi.
Ideas? Thanks
Bump. No ideas?
Sent from my XT1225 using Tapatalk
I'm guessing you're radio hopping. Verizon was probably more stable on the connection. (ie: finding 4g or 3g and staying there)
Try using a root based program to lock your phone in 3g or 4g.

Hi! thanks for your help
I was actually using AT&T before T-Mobile.
Can you recommend a good app to do that? I am not sure if that's the problem because my phone is always with solid LTE signal.
I'm also thinking about installing a new rom. Maybe CM or Nexus Experience. Suggestions?
Thanks!!
I used an exposed module that had that in it. I think it was called APM+ maybe? It was a power menu that added flashlight/screencap/recovery/radio lock when you hit the power button.
Sorry I can't recommend a rom on this device I have a locked boot loader. But on all my other devices I've always liked cm the most.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this obvious APM+ is not working for radio lock, I am still having this issue
Have you gone to playstore and tried a wake lock detector? Or a battery statistics app? Do you keep GPS on? Perhaps your GPS radio is struggling.

Android 6.0 T-Mobile Signals

Odd that I set phone to pick up only LTE/GSM but I'm always getting 3G W-CDMA when I normally been getting LTE 700. Using latest Chroma, radio and bootloader. Is this normal now or just bugged software/radio with T-Mobile.

Looking at T-mobiles coverage map (where they list band 12 compatible devices) I saw something interesting. It grouped the Nexus 5x, 6, and 6p saying their update is one its way. Maybe this isn't supposed to be a universal image as previously believed? I notice I drop calls over VOLTE which has been frustrating in Detroit where we have a lot of indoor band 12 but otherwise my signal has been LTE since marshmallow

why is that odd? you did pick gsm, and id say that 3G is a gsm signal. you can pick lte only and get just lte.
Because it says W-CDMA when normally it says GSM.

doesnt matter, you are using the normal connection of lte/gsm, which includes all the different signals.

Yes. I'm sure there is somewhere some idea.
There's already a long thread for this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/update-signs-t3455461
Can these threads just stop, it's really annoying, 100s of people asking the same question, subscribe to the pushbullet and you'll be notified when it's out

There are already custom roms out, so why waiting for useless stock?
They are based on n4/5 dev/beta, not official final build.

Um, stability from non beta code maybe? Pieces of the stock OS are included in custom ROMs. #TheMoreYouKnow
the question has probably been asked a thousand times, I myself have wondered that same thing. But it comes out when it comes out, no one here knows nor can they hasten it. That being said, the 5x and 6P posted, so we're next!

I think that was their "pre-canned" response they gave a few weeks ago. I'll believe it when the factory images are updated here:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
It would help a lot more if they'd stop lying.

Places missing?

So did Samsung remove the places from phone app or was it just Att? I had it on my Note 8 and I can't find it anywhere in the settings.
