Cannot boot after installing xposed installer. How to bypass/unistall it? - Xposed General

Hey everybody.
So I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F with Lollipop 5.0.
I was trying to install Xposed framework using Wanam method, however I found that the method doesn't support Lollipop 5.0.
Anyway, I already installed "XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk", I didn't flash any Xpsoed related scripts yet,and now I cannot boot anymore. The phone keeps showing the message "**** has stopped working" like a zillions times for all apps. with a black screen behind the message.
How can I uninstall the Xposed installer?
Things I have tried yet:
1-Clearing Dalvik and Cache.
2-Flashing "xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm.zip" which of course didn't work since I didn't flash anything anyway.
3-Adding "conf/disabled" under "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer".
4-Renaming "de.robv.android.xposed.installer" (which was created again after a reboot).
Note:
system/lib/ and system/bin/ are empty
Thanks in advance for any help you'd be able to provide

OK... IF and only IF, what you have written here is the truth... sorry to tell you, but you have some other issue. Like I said, IF, what is written here, is true, and you ONLY installed the apk, then you have some other issue or problem. The "Uninstall zip" is for the Framework, which you have not installed yet? Or did you, and forgot to include that here.... IT (Exposed) doesn't work well with Samsung, on 5.0! Believe me, I have tried many times, but just can get it to work on SGS5, rooted, deoxed, stock firmware.... Had better luck with Cm 5.1.1 ...

I solemnly swear that Iwill tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, under pains and penalties of perjury. LOL man! yes it is the truth.
as I said the Wanam turned out to support >=5.1 ROMS.
when I tried flashing it this appeared:
Code:
- Mounting /system and /vendor read-write
- Checking enviroment
Xposed version: 79.0 (custom build by wanam / 20151217)
! wrong android version: 5.0 / SDK22
! This file is for: 5.1 / SDK22
! Please download the correct package for your platform/ROM!
so yea nothing was flashed.
I'll try flashing and uninstalling official Xposed. if that fails too I am wiping everything.

Yes I have tried that one from Wanam... for some reason for some reason, the system, reads it as SDK22 instead of SDK21.
Been there, done that. I have even tried the one form Arter97 (tink that was is handle...(its in the SGS5 Development)) Anywho, THAT FAILED AS WELL.
Now, I did have exposed running on CM 5.1.1 but it took a bit of work....
just me 2 cents worth..... Could go bankrupt this way, but what the hay!!

[Q] HELP! Xposed Not WORKING!

help, xposed not working
Hi.
i cant download the Xposed framework.
i have slimsaber running on a OnePlus One.
i can't share a logcat, because when i reboot after flashing the zip, i get a popup: unfortunately, com.google.android is stopped.....
what can i do?
my phone is not even rebooting normally (i get infinity number of pop-ups)!!
and my adb drivers are all fine, when i restore from backup via TWRP, everything is fine and the adb is working...
PLEASE HELP I NEED XPOSED SO BAD.
@rovo89 maybe u can help!
If you can't live without xposed then change roms. Other than that your post makes no sense.
its alpha, he said flash if you want to risk bootloops..
hopefully you used recovery to backup your rom & data, because you're most likely going to have to flash your rom again.

probably nothing, it isnt working on my lg g3 either, others reported its working for them on the same device, so i'm in the same boat as you... BUT i understand it's the first release for lollipop, its expected to have issues & i'm patient enough to wait for more advanced releases before i start asking why it isnt working for me.
at this point of time, you're spamming.
.jar for is for module developers.
btw, some modules work for some roms but not for others, so it may be your rom, might be my problem too, but ee have to wait for a better than alpha release.

I cant install Xposed in Lollipop 5.1

Hello, my name is tito. I wanted to know how to install the xposed framework for Android 5.1. I've downloaded the apk, i've downloaded the zip files, i tried to use twrp recovery to flash the files but i cant install it. I choose the most recent version, then i go to install and it downloads the file, then it give's me a message saying: Ensure the partition listed below is the correct one for your device. If you do not verify this then you risk bricking. On some devices it is impossible to flash recovery while in android. If flashing doesn't work for you then please flash recovery a different way. /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery. And it give's me two options: NO-YES. If i choose no, it doesn't do anything, if i choose yes it says me: Please wait: Flashing and recovery or something like that. Then it give's me an error saying: Something is wrong: Flashing recovery was unsuccessful. Either you already have this recovery installed or another error has occurred. Would you like to attempt rebooting to recovery now? If i choose CANCEL it doesn't do anything, if i choose OK it reboots my device and it appears the android logo with a warning icon on him. I thought my phone was broken. I turned off it and it tried to turn on it again, and thanks god that it wasnt broken. I've tried a lot of things. My phone is an LG Leon (NOT LTE) (Its rooted) and i suspect that the reason of this is that this app makes me say to it what phone i have, and i pick LG Leon LTE because there isn't anyone that says only LG Leon. Please help me. I just want to have the Xposed installer. When i had kitkat it was pretty easy. I've never used this things of rom's and custom recoverys, i dont understand anything of that. I made a Nandroid Backup. I have BusyBox installed. Can this be happening because i dont have the bootloader unlocked? If it's that please explain me how can i unlock it, because there's not too many tutorials about my phone. If theres another way to install the Xposed framework, or there's another custom recovery i can use, please tell me.
Thank you all. Tito
do you use the right version? there are 3.arm, arm64, arm86. also do you have mounted your system?

Yes, i've read a post that says that you must check your phone's proccessor so you can know what version you must choose, the .arm is for standard proccessors, arm64 is for 64bit proccessors, and arm86 is for intel proccessors or that's what i understood, the proccessor is ARM7v 32bits, thats what i wanted to install, but that's not the problem. The problem is that i can't install the TWRP Manager to flash the previously mentioned files, because of an error, if i fix it, i could know if the rest of the proccess is right. About that "mounted system" i dont know what you are talking about, sorry, im new in this, an also the english is not my own language, so, sorry if something is wrong.

Z1 compact 5.1.1 xposed bug? And a question.

Hi guys! I have a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact phone. So my story begins when I installed a stock Android 5.1.1 on it, and I tried to install the original Xposed, but after booting it showed the SystemUI/everything fine for a sec, then it all got black. However, I could uninstall it, and install an unofficial Xposed by romracer. Anyway, that was a couple months ago, and now I saw it there is a version 79.1/80 and I'm asking that if his version worked with my phone, would this Samsung version one could work with mine? I can't find any Xposed frameworks by romracer anymore. I have v74 by the way (20150911).
So, what do you guys suggest?
Oh, and on android 5.0.2 the official Xposed worked fine. Maybe Sony changed some things since then...
And I don't know what was the problem with the original one, I couldn't do anything on my phone. (No logcat or anything.)
Or maybe the new original version would work?
Thanks in advance guys!

Use the latest official Xposed version from rovo89 (v80, SDK22) instead of any romracer versions (which are outdated by now).
^yeah I know they're outdated. Then should I take the risk, and try to flash the original version? Like I said, my whole phone went black with the original one back in September (the screen was on though)

Yeah, there have been lots of improvements since September. Make a complete backup in recovery, flash the latest official Xposed framework and wipe cache/dalvik afterwards.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Xposed Framework problems

I have searched a lot on the web and xda but cannot find any solutions. As far as I know I have correctly installed the Xposed framework using TWRP but when rebooting I get stuck on the Samsung logo screen and have to recover to fix. I have tried various versions of the framework and always get the same issue.
Android version - 5.0.2
Installed ROM (stock or custom ROM) - Stock ROM (Would install custom if it helps but cant decide which one yet)
Names of the file you tried to flash - I tried 3 - xposed-v67-sdk21-arm.zip, xposed-v72-sdk21-arm.zip, xposed-v86-sdk21-arm.zip
Error messages - none, but gets stuck at the samsung logo on boot
I really wanted to install the custom ROM Acheron, but dont think its compatible with my device so if anyone can recommend a good custom ROM I am all ears

Not sure I'd blindly follow a mega-upload...but maybe I'm paranoid. @DJRenegade88 I know you say you searched the web, but it sounds like you're trying to use the official xPosed. There's a huge red sign stating that if you try that on Samsung you will boot loop. For Android 5'0.x you need arter's xPosed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3113463
If you update to 5.1 or 6 you'll need to get the Wanam version instead (I'd link, but don't wish to confuse you as you have 5.0.x (sdk21)

yea I was trying the official and I have seen that red text about samsung bootloops lol, dunno how I missed that the first time, thanks for the clarification. Is there a specific version I should download? I see he lists a few, I am guessing the most recent (xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon.zip) is the correct one?
The number "75" "86" etc is the version number so everything you typed is correct 21 arter arm but you want whatever is the highest, with one caveat: if there is an 86 a few modules will not work (in short they will be forbidden from running by xPosed for bad coding); I'm guessing quite a few of the 5'0'x specific modules may get caught by this. If you find a module you can't live without that doesn't work (and gives a very specific, noticeable error in the xPosed log) you might want to stick with 85
Doesn't work
It took 5 minutes to boot and now it's optimizing all my apps. I don't think it works.

Since you are using stock Samsung ROM. Official xposed doesn't work properly with stock Samsung.
You don't need an external SD card to flash, just custom recovery, though something like flashfire might work. It worked to flash xposed on my LG tablet

i have a custom recovery and its working good, i just need to go buy an sd card which im about to go do, and im also confused on what you mean by samsung ROM, you mean i have a jailbroken phone but i need to actually download a custom rom like ( CyanogenMod 13.0 ) to alow the xposed firmware to run properly ? and also confused because what you linked me to is for lollipop i thought my phone was running off marshmellow hence (6.0.1), perhaps you could clarify im very new to this, thanks for the response though!
(ALSO FORGOT TO ASK) will downloading cyanogenmod 13.0 on a phone that is already rooted ruin the phone? or is it not a jailbreak its just modifications, etc?

What I linked you was the thread for a special build of Xposed for stock Samsung devices, it has Xposed for Marshmallow as well as Lollipop, you need to read through the thread.

Modifying phones like putting custom ROMs and recoveries will void your warranty, but usually won't ruin them in most cases, but there is always the potential.
I'm going to put this out there, and please don't get offended. I would advise you not pursue this further until you do some more reading and learning, as you yet have grasped fully what you are doing. Since you don't have someone who knows what they are doing right there with you. And troubleshooting via a forum can be difficult to do since it isn't real time.
1. Android phones are not jailbroken, they are rooted.
2. ROM refers to the version/setup of Android for a device.
3. I said you didn't need an external SD card. Though, it does make it easier if you have one to do things like backup your ROM before you do any modifications like this, so if it goes south you can restore it to it's current state.
You can PM me more about this if you like instead of cluttering the thread.
I had to manually go to my applications and check storage permissions for xposed installer, although i deleted smart manager with titanium backup so could be why it wasnf automatically asked at installation.
