[Q] LG G3/ arm v7a not compatible with xposed??

hello,
I once installed xposed on LG G3 via recovery before the updated version.
it was working, but only when i changed to permissive.
now with the updated xposed, when i try to install from the app itsef it says my phone not compatible.
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
i saw other writing about their d855.. it means the problem is on my phone?
anybody had this issue too?
also i cant remove xposed, says it cant find a backup.
thanks !
I am by no means an expert so the following is only related from my experience,no warranty is implied or given, but this was the first rom I have flashed etc and I only did it last night
Once I put lollipop on to my phone as per this post xposed would not install via the app itself after reading the various threads I found this
[OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop followed the instructions and xposed was installed.
Not sure if I went wrong somewhere but this threw up an issue with lgquickcover not working , some more reading found this booted to recovery using the power/volume key method and flashed the zip from here and the issue was resolved
I think it is worth mentioning xposed is only at alpha at the moment and as such some modules ( in particular g3tweaks I miss it ) do not work
working here. (lg g3, d855, blisspop v2.1 with selinux status already set to permissive)
xposed should say
Xposed on LG G3 D855 - error armeabi and libdvm.so - update ?
hi there,
any update regard this ?
I'm able to install / uninstall the "Xposed install" app but, cant get it install/update due to those errors:
Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
a[[_process - 58
xposedbridge.jar - 54
Phone is root
Android 5.0
core 3.4.0
V20h-ISR-XX
is there a workaround or something ?
i had similar problems on my g3 (d855) on lollipop, then i tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/tool-installer-xposedlg-g3unofficial-t3094514
and problem solved. good luck !!!

as i can see in the picture you are using CWM. I did it with TWRP. you can try....
hi @ludstr and @rhystagram
i found another solution. you need to install xposed for lollipop 5.1 instead of xposed 5.0. here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
Hi , I once flashed xposed in my g3/D855 stock rom and get cover error so I renamed lgcover.apk in twrp recovery and problem solved , now I changed my rom into cm12.1 and NOT instaled xposed , is there any way that I can make my smart cover work again ? if not would restoring to stock rom make the cover work again or ... ?

As I can see you don't have a custom recovery, like TWRP, first you need to do is root "if your phone is rooted then skip this" then download an app called "Flashify" then go to this thread and download the latest TWRP and make sure it is unziped, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
then open Flashify, Grant for root access, then select flash recovery and then select the recovery boot.img file and flash it after that you should be OK.
then try and flash the xposed framework zip and you should be good to go
hope this helped you
PS see this before flashing xposed

In meantime you can try to flash a CWM/TWRP compatible Superuser Zip from SuperSU thread

CM12 doesn't need SuperSu, it's already rooted and has it's own method for granting superuser. Did you try to copy any file to the system partition? Maybe you did and there is a permission error...
Try wiping /data; if that doesn't work, wipe /data and /system and reflash the ROM.

No SU binary installed (SuperSU)

Hello
I have Resurrection Remix with OMS installed on my 3T and /data currently not encrypted. Everytime I flash SuperSU, it's working after boot, but then root stops working and SuperSU says "No su binary installed." In the recovery.log i can see that my boot image is full, but I have no idea how to fix that or if it's even the main problem. I tried SuperSU 2.79 Stable, SR1 and SR2.
Thanks for help
i ran into the same problem today after flashing tugapower 7.1.
after boot, root only works for a few minutes.
what i did then:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/switching-supersu-to-phhs-su-t3495080
1. unroot via supersu app (settings)
2. reboot into android again
3. flash phh-supersu zip in recovery
4. install phh-supersu app from store

SuperSU * can't update binaries * Lineage * Samsung S5 international

This is my installation process [last post summary]
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ageos-t3576865
Downloaded lineage-14.1-20170322-nightly-klte-signed.zip
flashed this ROM with TWRP
rooted with CF-Auto-Root - same problem
downloaded again addonsu-ARM-signed_14.1
flashed this ROM again with TWRP
cleaning Dalvik and cache [kind of never done it before here]
rooted with addonsu-ARM-signed_14.1
all works
PS after flashing 20170322 ROM, on the first run I almost sh*at myself as SD card was not recognized. Restarted and was OK.

If I try to update binaries in TWRP, it stops, restarts and stops during Lineage loading screen forever. [nothing in TWRP logs about SU I can see]
So I flash ROM again, and addonsu-ARM-signed_14.1 from TWRP to fix it.
I was reading that after flashing addonsu-ARM-signed_14.1 - during first restart it should ask me something like "DO you want to keep root" - it doesn't happen.
Is there a way to have it done?
Is it sometimes necessary to set permissions in Terminal for some SU files/folders before updating binary? I think ages ago I was doing something like this...?
Is it possible that
1. flash ROM
2. root fith CF root
3. dirty flashROM
4. use correct root addonsu-ARM
can have anything to do?
SM-G900F
lineage-14.1-20170329-nightly-klte-signed.zip
lineage-14.1-20170405-nightly-klte-signed.zip
addonsu-ARM-signed_14.1
The link for your install process, gives an XDA 404 page loading error.
One question though with SuperSU settings. Do you have it set to allow SU to run during boot? Maybe that's why it seems to take forever to load after updating binaries through TWRP?

[HELP] Magisk SuperSU Not installed and no binary >> VTR-L09

Hi everyone. So like the title says I finally got my P10 running EMUI 9.0.1.186 and got the pie version of Resurection Remix installed and working smoothly. So now I am trying to get root back which is annoying because currently there is no TWRP for EMUI 9+. So I followed the tutorials on installing magisk without custom recovery using the recovery_ramdisk partition which I finally did get figured out.
What I did:
I downloaded stock firmware (Exact same version as the one installed on my phone) and then extracted the RECOVERY_RAMDIS file and transffered it to my phone, then in Magisk Manager I installed and selected the option to edit a file. Selected the RAMDIS file and then transffered the file back to computer. I did the fastboot flash of recovery_ramdisk and then reboot my phone and it says installed on both Magisk and Magisk Manager. Safetynet check all green aswell. Basically everything that should be green is. I then installed directly because it gives you that option now and after booting the phone again I tried some root required apps but nothing was asking for root permission and I cant use the apps. In the Supersu section of Magisk Manager there are no apps coming up to allow me to enable supersu for the app or not. I can install Modules though and that does work as I tested it by downloading and installing the busybox static module. I then went to root checker pro and did a check and it says busybox is installed correctly. When I do the check for root status it comes back as follows:
Feedback Mode: Install Root
Issue: Not installed superuser app and su binary, and unable to access root user account.
Feedback: Locate a guide for root installation on a Kirin Treble device.
Stage 1 - Superuser App: Not Installed
NOT installed: SuperSU by chainfire, Superuser by ChainsDD, or Superuser by Koush
Stage 2 Superuser Binary Files: Not Installed
Alternative Location
Command: ls-l /sbin/su
Result: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 2019-12-29 13:49 /sbin/su-> ./magisk
Version: 20.1:MAGISKSU
Analysis:
The rest of the Alternative Locations came back as "does not exist"
Stage 3 - Root User Account Error
Error: Timeout of 27 seconds on 2 attempts
Optional - ADB Shell User
Status: Checked /default.prop for ro.secure setting: No world/other read access to fault.prop
Additional - SELinux
Status: Unable to determine due to lack of permission, no world/other read access to /sys/fs/selinux/enforce
Please help me figure out why I dont have full root access, Thankyou very much!
(I would also like to note that I did try uninstalling by just restoring the partitions via Magisk Manager Uninstall option and then reinstalling and this time not using the direct install feature and nothing changed)
