I have two calendars on my phone, one is the google calendar and the other is called 'exchange' that I imported and kept saving events under.
First issue I had was that the 'exchange' calendar wasn't updating on my google calendar, so I tried switch some of my exchange events to the google calendar but I don't get the pull-down option when in the event edit mode.
Any clue what's going on or how I can go about fixing this issue?
Thanks
I was wondering if there was something I can download or do which will automatically set the upcoming birthdays on my calendar.... My old phone did this.. Even without me automatically inputting it... It basically used the Facebook and had the birthdays appear on the mobile phone's main calendar... Hoping that there is something similar for that..
Google Calendar can be used for this but you would have to add all the birthdays into your contacts in google mail, then subscribe to "Contact's birthdays and events" under "browse interesting Calendars" which can be found under the "add" menu at the bottom left of the page when in google calendar.
Hope this helps
That's not really relevent to WP7 though...
@ProjektFuze Funny you should mention it though i was thinking the same thing yesterday. Hopefully it will be an available feature in the next update.
You can sync Google calendar with wp7, so what ever you add on your pc will show up on phone.
That may be true, but they still won't show in in the WP7 calendar and you'd still have to manually create an appointment or something. As i said, hopefully the update due early next year will provide this much needed feature.
Birthdays are showing in my calendar on HTC hd7.
Will post my settings when I get home.
If you have your contacts in outllook with birthdays set, then you need to export your outlook calendar (csv file) and import it into google calendar.
Birthdays will now show in wp7 calendar.
If you dont have all your facebook contacts in outlook then you could try this -
There’s an app called “Export Friends” that will save you friends names, city, birthday and their current location in a CSV (text) file that you then import into Excel, Gmail or any other web email program.

You might need to import it into outlook first, then export the outlook calendar into google calendar.
I have configured office email (exchange account) and of course my google account on my device.
When I open calendar and click on the "+" to create an event, exchange account is selected as default.
I wanted to create an event in my google account, but when I click on the calendar to change it, calendar Force Closes.
anyone else has this issue ?
Hi,
Using the stock calendar app. I'm syncing an office 365 exchange account with the Nexus 6. Having a problem where all the exchange calendar entries on the phone are showing twice. These aren't duplicated in Outlook and it was only the calendar entries that were in the calendar from the initial sync with Android.
If I add an entry on the phone, it only shows up once in both Outlook and Android calendar. If I add an entry in Outlook, it works fine. Any idea how I can delete the duplicates?
Did you ever resolve this - I have a somewhat similar issue. It seems when I travel to a different timezone, I get duplicates of all exchange entries on my Moto Z Force.
Hi Guys,
The entries within my Built-in Calendar App (Huwawei own) do not sync to Google Calendar and Visa Versa. Has anyone had this issue and what would the potential solution be.
Many Thanks!
Same here. Only birthdays sync, but not events or reminders.
