Hi friend i have read if downgrade firmware it's possible have network error and IMEI corrupt.
Please write for me procedure step by step for save EFS directory and restore if have problem.

i got i9000 from customer which have null imei (no imei ) on *#06#
then i rooted and copied another nv_data.bin to efs folder
the problem if i join with efs explorer phone start md5 and network all is ok just imei 0044
but if if restart i9000 then still null
so if i join to root explorer as su i can see files in efs folder
if i start r/o mode network doesnt start need a advice is there any command i can start or change permissions on efs ?
or send me any of nv_data backup i can try
this phone registered on turkey networks
the efs folder contans the imei , which is for one phone only . It is ilegal to use another imei from other phone . My advice is to send it to Samsung and they will repair your imei for a tax/fee . Send the Box with the imei code also .
well its not a prolem i do fixed some of them with 0044 ut this doesnt have any of 0044 at startup but if i join to root explorer as root in efs modem start help needed

OK, I have NO idea whatsoever what you just said....
i need full efs folder
then phone will come with 0044 or another imei number but its not a problem for me coz i can repair it via my tools
If you would be so kind to write in proper English... you might just have a chance to get an answer.
I read it as the OP wants a copy of somebody's EFS folder so as he can hack it for his number .
Problem is that i would not give my legitimate IMEI to someone else in case i found its been hijacked .

I was wondering if anyone could kindly post a link to or upload a copy of their Captivate nv_data.bin file or zipped EFS folder (I can rewrite the IMEI and baseband myself), or alternatively a working link to a stock rom that will write a new EFS folder for me. All the links I've found on this forum are dead or won't download.
Any help appreciated!

FIX SN1. Make sure you are in stock rom/official rom. Unlock your bootloader.
2. Download & edit this files using this
3. Go to this section 0050A020 and you'll see somethings familiar to you on right tab. Rename it, saved.
4. Prepare adb connection, set root permission, then push saved files to your device.
5. Reboot devices.
6. Done. No more C4ATAS000000 FIX BT,WLAN,IMEI1. Device must be in rooted stock rom or in unbrick rom Qfil
2A. For Qfil user, make sure you are selecting WW version without fsg
2B. For Rooted stock rom user, make sure your magisk installed on it
3. Download this files & do edit using same software
4A. Guide for BT; open files with QcnViewer go to nv item 447. See any value except 0 then copy it.
4B. Guide for WLAN; open files with QcnViewer go to nv item 4678. See any value except 0 then copy it.
4C1. Guide for IMEI ; open files with QcnViewer go to nv item 550 (for sim I). See any value except 0 then copy it.
4C2. Guide for IMEI ; open files with QcnViewer go to nv item 550 SIM I (for sim II). See any value except 0 then copy it.
5. Open files in editing software. Remember your copied value in 4A,4B,4C. Ctrl+F in your editing software, search one by one and rename with your original value at your back on smartphone box.
6. Save. Restore saved files using QFIL/QPST.
7. Done.

only serial number that is only last 15 digits should be changed plus other things remains as it was before. after placing .sn.bin and giving proper permission flash fastboot rom .otehr wise phone eill not detect new serial number. if all fails, use telegram @zenfonemaxproofficial group they have persist backup file.restore it and change serial number using terminal command in twrp. there is also thread how to change it by thehardgamer.

Quick guide
Download QCN file of asus x00td. Google it u will find it.
1)download qpst tools and install it
2) go to c: drive-progran-qualcomm-qpst-bin=. Open QCNviewer
3)open downloaded qcn file in here
4)go to text view mode and copy nv447(bluetooth address) hex , 550(imei-1) hex , 4678 (wlan mac) hex, and Sim-1 550(imei-2) hex and paste it into text document ( this is the basic thing by which u will edit and change default nv to ur devices details)
5) find ur bt mac , wlan mac, from back of the box . Convert ur imeis into hex number using 'imei to hex converter' simple tool
6)download ultraedit software ( https://www.ultraedit.com/downloads/ultraedit-download/ ) and open downloaded wcn file
7)find value of 447,550,4678(,sim1)550 hex using find option and replace it with ur bt mac wlan and imei hex respectively.
8)save qcn file
9) open qfill tool
10) go to tools-backup and restore qcn
11) connect ur phone in diagmode ( dial *#3424# in emergency mode ,open device manager and wait for drivers to get installed.once it installed u will see ports and coms option and under it Qualcomm device)
12) select ur edited qcn and restore it.
13) wait for process to end successfully
14) restart ur device.
15) even better to fladh again fastboot rom.
This is very basic tutorial. If u don't understand please google rest.
By this method u can edit ur wlan,btmac,imeis (do not change imeis other than urs.changing imeis is illegal).
And for serial number already told u about editing .sn.bin and pushing it to persist folder

Sir i have already flash qfil ROM on dead Asus Zenfone max Pro M1 and restore my IMEI number through IMEI builder but after restoring my daul 4g not working 4g is working only 1st sim slot and in 2nd sim slot only 3g -2g working and I understand your all steps very well only I don't know how to find Mac and WiFi Mac in qcn viewer because in qcn viewer there is no search option. and I have my own bt Mac WiFi Mac imei number in my mobile box so can I direct replace all file from ultra edit software?

Find the 447 nv row- it saves bt mac and 4678 nv has wlan mac. If u dont jave this 2 nv that means ur qcn is corruptt or lack . Better to download someone elses qcn and restore it into ur device. After that change imeis and btmac wlan mac. For btmac look for 447. For wlan look for 4678 (in qcn there is 4 x4678 there so u have to change 4 times in order to replace wlan mac)

Or simple method is u restore someone else s qcn and edit it using qualcomm SN writer tool. It has all option like edit imeis btmac and wlan mac. Just check that site. Better to flash fastboot rom once. 334 or 340

Sir I have successfully edited my all wlan Bluetooth Mac and IMEI and serial number with your help through qcn viewer and ultra edit software and after that I flashed 340 build through fastboot and my. Phone was not reboot is showing red alert and after 30s phone will be shut down and at last I flashed stock pie twrp flashable ROM and my phone was successfully boot but after a lots of wasting my time my problem was still same joi 4g sim not working in 2 sim slot and Airtel sim working as only 2g or 3g please help me sir please my dear sir please help me I am in very big trouble and if possible please give me your contact number ????????????????????????????
