CONFIRMED: After confirming with a Best Buy store representative, it appears that the language support in Nougat has increased. Update to Android 7.0 Nougat. Then, do the following:
Go to Settings
Select General Management on the left side
Select Language on the right side
Select Add a Language
Select Français > Your preferred dialect. For example, to add Français (France), select Français > France.
Move Français (XXX) to the top, where XXX is the region
You have now completed the steps
This feature is supported on the Galaxy Tab S2 (SM-T71X/T81X) and S3 tablets (SM-T820/T825) (ALL regions except China). Phones may or may not be supported, depending on the carrier and place of purchase.

There are two inbuilt games in this - iJuegos and Midnight Bowling 2.Couldnt play it because I couldnt understand the language. I mean I changed the language of the phone to english but the game language dint change.
More different apps called Plugger, Buscar, Portal Claro, Ideas,iMStore and iVideo are also pre installed. There's a new wallpaper and custom icons for the usual apps in the app drawer. Its android version 2.3.6.
Interesting, do you think you could share photos/screenshots? By the way, could you explain how you dumped the stock rom? Or did you just download it?

From ur point of view looking awesome! can u plz show us some screenshoots too/
Sorry man. Forgot about screenshots. The Rom is not that great. Its the same 2.3.6 with some weird apps which only redirect to some site in alien language.
It sucks, it's the same 2.3.6 of always but with apps of the carrier... don't install it
Claro....
My carrier is Claro (because I live in argentina duh!), and the rom is good but I still prefer WMKP dummy rom (without bloatware), and these games are part of a promotion (these are in Spanish) of Claro and gameloft, but still, it's the same rom as WMKP 2.3.6.
Long wait from Claro to update to 2.3.6, and still, the carriers in my country are far worse than others from the world (using Personal right now).

Hello everyone,
I was trying to update firmware through Kies and in between this period i unplugged my phone. it was bricked, but i took it to market and they installed the Gingerbread in my phone again
Firmware 2.3.5
Baseband I9001XXKPF
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-pref ([email protected] 156 #1)
Build number GINGERBREAD.JPKP3
after this installation i am having some problem with the phone, WIFI is disconnecting again and again every 1minute. And phone is consuming more battery than before. Please help me, is there any fix for this problem????
Just flash the firmware again with odin

See the wiki for instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus/GT-I9001#Flashing_in_Windows
The 1969 thing is probably because somehow the time wasn't set properly, so it probably defaulted to -1 or something like that. Let 0 be the first of January 1970 (Unix epoch as Jacol82 said) and -1 is in December 1969
Hi there
I'm sorry to ask such a silly question:
I bought a S3 Mini in Thailand and the guys there wanted to do "something" to enable Thai language. I said I can do it by myself.
Now I wanted to change the language to Thai, but it's not there.
Then I tried to find a stock rom on samfirmware for South East Asia (which would include the Thai language). But there was no ROM for this phone.
Then I came up with the idea to change the CSC to Thailand. But I worry to do this because I never did before and I don't know if after changing the CSC I will be able to download a ROM on Kies with the Thai language.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Edit: According to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1684194 I can change the languages.xml inside the CSC folder, to add the TH (Thai) language code. After that I should be able to see it in the Android Languages settings list. I'll try to root it with this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2030282 and try it out. Reporting back here when I have any news. Still if someone knows for sure what's the right way, I'd appreciate a reply
Tried this Vietnam firmware?
Its 4.1.2 update

Hi there,
I'm planning on purchasing this device here: http:[//]amzn[.]com/B00LECCJKM
But I was wondering, will I be able to change the Interface & Keyboard Language to Arabic ( I mean without rooting or flashing anything )?
If not, how could I do it? Would applications like "Language Enabler" work without root & accomplish it?
Because I don't even think that this device is going to be "Root-able".
Hello,
Ur Url Link dose not work for me.

I bought Samsung NOTE 5 model [SM-N9208 duel Sim]. It is working fine. However, my concern is Handwriting in the Samsung Keyboard is limited to eastern languages for this version. As you can see in the attach picture, when you reach to language selection step.
I want to add another languages but the option is not available . Since I don’t want to flash my rom and go through long process, Can I:
- Extract all Handwriting languages from another NOTE5 and add it to my mobile? [My friend have a Samsung Note 5 with other languages selection. note his Note is single sim]
- If yes, how to do it? And where is the folder for these languages?
- do I have to root my device to install other [Handwriting languages]?
Please Help
bump...please help guys
Hi, did you found the solution? I'm in same situation right now, only English and eastern languages are available.
Yep the same with me, already asked help in another topic but for this moment nobody could help
