I rooted my OPX at Kingroot.com on a Oxygen 2.1.2.
Im trying to install the Xposed framework (downloaded from the official forum: V75) but in recovery mode when I press the .zip file it just says "Installation failed"
Anybody know what i should do? - As said I have root access
The Xposed Installer just says that the framework is not installed and that i should download the latest ZIP file from XDA and then flash it manually via recovery. It gives me no option to install...
Others have installed the framework succesfully on the Oneplus forum..

What recovery are you using? If you're using the stock recovery, then there's your problem. You'll need a custom recovery like TWRP.
If you are using TWRP, then the download might be corrupted. Try downloading it again.
What exact recovery (name and version) are you using? What exact file (full filename) are you trying to flash?
Hi guys, so to the point.
I rooted my k3 note with iroot.
Next I flashed my twrp to TWRP 2.8.6, did backup through TWRP, wiped data and while i was trying to install VibeUI 3.1 (all 3.1 official versions)I've got an error saying "executing updater binary in zip" and path to file.
When I tried to restore old one, it gave me extractTarFork() process ended with error=255) on 4%.
Any idea what should I do?

@edit for some reason Limonchello didnt gave me an error, could it be not-latest TWRP that gave me problem with vibeui 3.1?

official rom cant be install via twrp
download any custom rom and flash it

Are you sure? For example VibeUI 1614 ST can be installed in twrp. It also have the scatter file inside the zip so it can be flashed via SP Flash Tools also.

After "Patching system image unconditionally" installation stop and i don't havr any rom in my phone,and I must restore my backup rom.

I recently isntalled TWRP on an I9305, but when i try to install a new ROM (lineage OS unofficial, AOKP), it gives me the following message:

If anyone encounters this problem in the future, and is running a newer version ot TWRP, try downgrading to 3.0.2-1. This worked for me, after trial-and-erroring for a while.

Same problem here with TWRP 3.3.1 on S3 9305: Failed to map file….
I have wiped and I feel at risk when telephone says before attempting to reboot: No OS installed are you sure you want to reboot. Anything i can do??
Probably too late to change TWRP version now ??
PS I cannot restore as backup is not available

i tried to install magisk on my device using sp flash tool after i patched the boot.img of stock rom using magisk then i installed it to my phone with sp flash tool
but when i go to my phone and i run magisk i find magisk is not installed

you did nothing wrong but you missed some step. install Magisk Manager apk
