I've found that the carriers don't know what the hell a proper changelog is, regardless of device. I hope you are successful in finding out what the actual changes are.

AOSP's new launcher code as of kitkat doesn't play nice with apps2sd (since any currently supported Android device has unified internal storage)

Thank's for reply do you know if I nave to remove something? With omnirom 4.4.2 I didn't have this problem. I have a nexus 4 and I unlocked, Flashed TWRP 2.7.0.1 and wiped..then I started using omnirom since it was fixed the WiFi in 4.4.3 so I guess the 11-06-2014..I think it is only a problem of mine, since nobody else said anything on xda, but I can't find the origin of the issue.the only apps that use root access are aptoide and bootunlocker..i think I haven't touched nothing else..

odd, apps2sd isn't relevant on mako, and also, the apps2sd issues have existed since the very beginning of the 4.4 cycle
I've been having an issues with call forwarding since FlashFire update to Android 5. When I attempt to change the settings, I receive an "ERROR Network or SIM Card Issue" message. I checked with ATT technical support and they say this is a known issue with the ATT 5.0 update and they will release a patch for it soon. Does anyone know if we here at XDA will get a flashable patch as well? Thanks!

It might be worth waiting for them to actually release the patch before you go asking if we'll get it, seeing as they have no idea what the patch will be there's no telling if you will.

Ha! Good point. Thread closed.
I think I'm going to flashfire the Alliance ROM since that's not specifically based on the ATT version, it may not have that issue.
Samsung Device Support says that the current OTA update to 5.1.1 (G890AUCU3BOJE) fixes this issue for some, but not all devices. Reportedly Google is working on a patch, but no release date is available at this time. For me the issue started when moving from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4. I'm currently on 5.0.0 and still have the issue, still debating about rolling the dice on a flash to 5.1.1 to see if I am one of the lucky ones. Until then, GSM feature codes can be used:
http://www.geckobeach.com/cellular/secrets/gsmcodes.php
I am currently on OF3 and just got an update notification. 128.99MB so probably not 5.1.1.
Update today
128 MB update now coming in ... I have no idea what's in it.
Mod Edit: 2 threads created a minute apart..both were merged. Thanks!
It is just a security patch update.

Its the stagefright fix.
It's installing now. Would be nice if 5.1.1 was included, but this is just a stagefright fix I'm sure.
Looks like it was just the last missing stagefright patch. Zimperium's Stagefright Detector app says I no long have an vulnerabilities.
Hopefully now ATT can start focussing on getting the 5.1.1 update released to us.
I really don't want to download it risking to lose root. Any suggestions?

I have seen some of the Verizon stagefright updates did not affect root. Not sure about any of the AT&T ones. I am sure someone will try to install it while rooted and see.
I took the OF4 update. One app says my phone isn't vulnerable to the Stagefright exploit, the Zimperium app says my phone is vulnerable. So Im not really sure what is what at this point. Any one else have any foresight into this?

From what I've read Stagefright is an ongoing issue that wasn't completely patched with the first update. There will be a few incremental updates to completely fix the problem. So as the apps that check for the problem update, some will report back vulnerability where others won't, until the next security patch comes through.
Hi,
I just received my new phone, and I realised that I am still on oxygenOs 3.5.4. I checked the system updates, and it says that there aren't any updates available, but I see that nougat was released in January.
Is the Nougat update something that I need to trigger manually? Is there any reason to not update to Nougat? I guess all the kinks are pretty much ironed out by now.
Cheers!

You should have received it by now. You can manually download the ROM and either sideload it or place it in its folder.

You could try installing a free VPN app, changing the region to Canada or Germany and checking again. This is how I've done it.

I am facing the same issue. I got my 3T yesterday and it says no update available. I have not rooted my phone and wont root it unless absolutely necessary. Where can I download the official Nougat ROM from? And what is the procedure to sideload it?

You can get the update, and instruction on how to install from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/rom-oxygenos-3-5-4-mm-ota-update-t3519074
Sideload instructions also here from OnePlus: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_4.0.3/
Although the download right from OP only lists 4.0.3, and then Open Beta 3 and 4. So I don't know if this just not updated, as OTAs for 4.1.0 and 4.1.1 have already gone out:
http://downloads.oneplus.net/devices/oneplus-3t/
Were this Midnight Black phones?
^ No, Gunmetal version.
So, now that OREO beta is over and done with.
When do you all think T-Mobile will release the final OREO build OTA?
I'm confused about the oreo beta ending it was said to have ended the 15 but I still recieved 2 updated after the 15th
Samsung have officially announced today that Beta is going to end Tomorrow.
Ya I see that lol
It still no release either and it is March 6th. I want it for my s7 edge but have to wait for this one to get it first. Stupid.
T-Mobile website says the S8 is currently in the testing phase for Oreo. So it shouldn't be too much longer just need them to sign off on the internal testing.

That's odd, they're working fine on my S8A... I did a factory reset immediately after upgrading though, maybe that's why.
