Invalid Modelid error with rom update tool

I can now compile my rom but then I try to update using the ruu tool it goes 1% and says invalid modelid.
And exits the tool
How do I fix this?

RUU Error's

So I recently tried to run an RUU, but each time I do I get "ERROR: USB_read failed with status e00002e8".
Specifications:
On a Mac
HTC One sprint variant
device not detected by adb
keep getting same usb error each time
I flash a zip of which I extracted from the official RUU, rom.zip; I rebootRUU, then I flash the zip. It worked fine before, then I flashed a sense 6 rom and all hell broke loose. Please help me out. If you need any more information just ask.

I was trying to s off my att m7 after unlocking bootloader and rooting and flashing custom recovery but when i start sujo it gives me that error

I cant get this 6.20 RUU to work,Ive tried flashing from sd card, ADB, and using the RUU.exe updater. MD5 sum chacks out!
They all fail, I can get my phone to the black screen with HTC logo, but nothing happens. On adb when I type 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'
all I get is:
target reported max download size of 1826418688 bytes
error: cannot load 'firmware.zip'
the exe has been giving me an error 105
and installing from sd card I get:
Parsing...
Device halted due to Large Image update fail!
Press <Power> to reboot.
Any ideas?? Im so stumped

If I remember correctly if you are not on the most current firmware the RUU will not work.
Try flashing the latest Full firmware then run the RUU.

Htc M8 831c can,t return to stock and unlock sim

hey experts,i have htc m8 it was on official 6.0 but was showing invalid card then i tried to install viper 1.5.0 on it then phone was stuck in fastboot mode,after that i install viper 6.0.but still invalid card.please help me.how to unlock it?:crying::crying::crying:
now i can,t flash stock ruu also not from fastboot nor from recovery,when i try to flash with fastboot cmd then i got error target reported max download size,and when i try for flash with recovery then i got error zip file is corroupt.unfortunately i don,t have stock fw backup.what to do???
