What is the most stable lollipop rom for mi3/mi4? - Mi 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Marshmallow roms has just started development, and obviously have bugs ,i prefer stable for daily use,so i am looking for a stable lollipop rom.Almost all the lollipop roms here had been marked as stable , but when look in the topic i see many people report bugs, can someone tell me which rom is actually stable. Thanks.
Update : After tried many lollipop roms : CM 12.1, Mokee, ACPI, XenonHD, BlissPop. Now i can say Ivan's AOSP is the most stable lollipop rom so far.

Me have been using Ivans lollipop room since last May. Recently have change to Mokee release version of lollipop. Had to say that compare to Ivan lollipop rom. Mokee lollipop released version is way better and stable than Ivans. While Marshmallow version are still in nightly version. But still nice. Do Noted: the mokee Lollipop version dont have fm radio. While the marshmallow version have.

Thanks, i am using cm12.1 latest nightly, every thing work, the only problem is battery drop very fast when it is under 20%, sometimes drop 10% to 0 and my phone turn off without any warning. Do this bug exists in mokee rom?

So far whenever my phone drops till 30% im going to charge it soon. Never encounter sudden battery level sudden drop like that.

I am having the same issue with cm roms. now trying TIPSY 6.01. seems a bit better. If i disable location i seem to get mroe wakelocks . so tried keeping location to high accuracy and disabled device administrator in security and disabled the security stuff in google settings.. been 4 hrs now and no batter ydrain so far. will update if something comes up.

I've been using TeamEOS 0928 the most stable and battery friendly for me

[ROM]NostromoPop 2.4.0 (25/10/16)[CM12.1][5.1.1]
This is the Unofficial CM12.x for the HTC One Mini 2 thread!
Project status so far is working!! I've had trouble finding the proper libraries and thought I'd bricked my device yesterday with an earlier build but then grabbed the CM11 latest and used libraries and firmware files from that and it works! Some apps seem to run a little slow but equivalents run fast so it's a per app issue and not Android 5 per se as Dalvik is gone and libArt is the main runtime. Otherwise it seems very very fast even compared to KitKat!
It includes all the expected functionality from CM and I've also added Apollo into the build!
Plus this build includes my own DPIChanger app to make things a little easier.

Massive massive thanks to the Google guys developing this and of course CyanogenMod and without a doubt, u-ra for porting the device initially and for maintaining the device trees and recovery image!!! And the Paranoid team for the Gapps.
Oh and use the latest recovery possible!! And if you are feeling adventurous or miss the old Xposed framework from JB and KK then try this from @rovo89 : Xposed

Thanks! All I did in the end was install CM11 latest version and grab a few extra libraries from my other build and it built successfully. First attempt was built using the libraries from before October and that nearly bricked it!
Hi, I'm new here. Flashed a lot one my HTC ville, but got a One Mini 2 now. Poor custom ROM diversity for memul, so thank you for your efforts.
On download page it says ...memul.zip but then for HTC One XL???
Just flashed Nostromopop, works great! Thanks dude for giving us Lollipop on One Mini 2!
For all followers: first boot took several minutes, this is not a bootloop. Be patient!
I'll report issues after some testing.
It works great. It's fast and stable until now.
My camera isn't working for now but we finally hand lollypop working.
Thanks
Nice work, only problems I'm having are audio fx not working and the camera app is slow/glitchy
Got some problems with the launcher I'm using (KK) but works fine now. Camera works for me. Can't find Apollo app, but that's no problem.
How can I restore my e-mail accounts from CM11 ? Not working with Titanium Backup.

You do realize this is a build of the stuff I'm pushing to the CyanogenMod repo? All the bugs listed in this thread are the reason there's no official nightly yet.

So it's mainly your work? Then thank you for your efforts!
The Nostromo build shows surprisingly few problems so far and I won't complain about things that do not work. I'm very happy to get a first lollipop experience.
It's great to hear that there will be CM12 for memul, I was not sure about this. There were so much ROMs for my HTC ville and there seems to be so few development for the Mini2. Future CM12 support is good news for me.

Yeah built it first for the One XL (my main phone) and then attempted the build for the Mini 2 and forgot to update the config/common.mk file in vendor/cm!!

Yep, hence the thanks in the first post. And as I stated all I did was built it with a set of libraries that worked. Also built a version of PAC Man a while back but could never get hold of the devs to get the build uploaded.
I'm also running your build of TWRP as it's the only proper recovery for this phone out there.
So all in all, without u-ra this wouldn't exist or would still be in development.
Just flashed the rom a few hours ago. After playing with it a bit, I would point out a few things.
1. The AOSP camera app hangs a hell lot and also freezes the phone. So an alternative camera app will be the suggestion.
2. It is almost as smooth as the stock rom.
3. I am really missing Xposed on this. Guess I'll have to wait for it or go back to stock.
4. There is a bit of a clicking sound in audio at the highest volume, something that was present in CM11 when I used it previously(Not sure if it is still present in the newer versions).
The only main gripe for me is the unreliability of the camera. I will try other apps, but nothing can beat the Stock Sense camera IMHO.
I strongly suggest that you take down this "ROM"
As this is only U-ra's work. You presenting this ROM is really stealing his shine as HE IS THE ONLY ONE really making anything for this device. We don't want to upset him by doing these things do we?
Let him present his work when it's fineshed!
When you touch a ball that's allready a 100% goal did you score?
Calm down. The record is already set straight. Also, posting builds is perfectly fine, as is using CM base to build other variants, so long as the credits are given and licenses followed.

Exactly and without u-ra we wouldn't have ROMs on this phone or a recovery at all! And now that full CM12 is up then that is now available and can be used from now on. I'll only upload builds for this when I have added custom bits etc. For example I've bene testing builds of PAC and am waiting on Carbon being available on 5.x.
First CM 12.1 build with Android 5.1.1 posted! Again this is purely until the official nightlies come out that u-ra has worked on so much but I've been running 5.1 for 2 weeks now and it seems pretty good!

Nightly versions are not considered stable. You can expect some bugs and issues when using nightly versions but in general they are relatively stable, you might not notice any bugs at all. You really have to test them to know, they are automatically compiled (not tested) so one version might be very stable and the version 2 days later can have some issues. If you are comfortable dealing with minor issues and flashing roms then you should be fine. If you want a 100% stable phone then nightly versions might not be for you.

There is no stable release of CM12 yet and don't expect one soon. I think they never released a stable version of cyanogenmod for the M7. The most "stable" version released were snapshot versions of CM11. If you are unsure about using nightly version then wait for the first CM12 snapshot version. Snapshot version is the most stable nightly of the month.

I'll be dead honest. If you are looking for rock stable then stay stock. All roms have issues. Mainly for devices like the m7
What about gpe edition ?

When I say stock I meant official releases and as this version of a device with both OEM and gpe then both can be considered stock. So it's up to you which one you go wirh

How to Port Marshmallow for S3 Mini

How to port Marsmallow for S3 Mini ? Where is the base 6.0 for s3 mini ? How can i get it ?
No one posted something like that yet. Maybe android-andi or golden-guy give it up soon.
Elseway you can try compiling it all by yourself from Cyanogenmod sources.
How can i get CyanogenMod sources ? (6.0)
cyanogenmod is always developping cm12.1, so i think that they have to finish cm12.1 (fully working) before begincreating cm13
sorry for my english
Cm 12.1 camera dont fixing. I think they cant have to finish cm 12.1. I think they dont create Cm 13.
recently i saw a .zip file to fix the problem, but sorry i forgot where i found it
I saw it too, it just flashes Camu and replaces stock Camera2 with that, so it's not worth trying it

The camera problem in CyanogenMod 12.1 is now fixed, maybe CM13 development will start soon
CM13 is under developing for long time

Suggestion of Lollipop 5.1.1 ROM with monthly security update.

Can any one suggest any good Lollipop 5.1.1 ROM which is still maintained/updated till date ? I just need good, stable lollipop ROM which will be updating per month once with Google's monthly security patches. Currently I am on Unofficial Pac- man ROM but the Dev has dropped support it.
Yaa I know MM has become quite stable now but still I want to be on LP.
Thanks.

I want to stay with Lollipop, but I think that there isn't any rom that is still updated.
I tried Marshmallow, but it's a bit slow here and touch commands response isn't as good as it is on Lollipop.
If think the only way to update is compilling CM12.1 from source, because they are updating the security patches.

Stable ROM for everyday use

Hello.I have an Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and I'm using the optimized lineage os from 19 jan. Could anyone recommend me a good and stable ROM for everyday use but in the same time to have performance ?
CM11 is what you need. Here you go: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58442741&postcount=1112
Make sure you install the latest build(20150126).

But it's not a little outdated ?
If security is what you want, then you should install the latest LineageOS build. There is a i9505 up-to-date kitkat build, only if I knew how to port it,or if someone could port it.
If xposed is important to you go with CM13 (MM). That is my choice now, 28/dez + my mic fix works very well.
If you like Samsung style go with WizCyan (LP)
Otherwise go with RR or LOS (N)
Miui 8 is another alternative (MM)
For performance don't move apps to storage, uninstall all apps that you don't use (included system ones), install Kernel Adiutor and do tunning like this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/ref-to-date-guide-cpu-governors-o-t3048957
Our RR is stable. At least the newest version... I'm using it as daily for more than a week now, no problems whatsoever.

As soon as xposed is available to N, that will be my daily choice. Thanks for the builds!
I don't know which modules you need but most things that required xposed on LP are now integrated into N.
Especially in RR version which is highly customizable.

I am crazy or something but stock rom moves smoother than any custom rom or I am doing something wrong when I m installing custom rom.
I had stock LP ROM with only deodex and xposed running and it was never as smooth as Nougat...
