chrome beta

Is anyone else here using the chrome beta regularly? I have been really enjoying it except for one issue which is noted in the documentation involving fonts resizing if the screen rotates, otherwise I am very impressed with it. Also check out the screenshot, both browsers have the same page loaded.

I am, it's a phenomenal browser! I wish there was a way to install it on GB though.

I love it, but check the cache. After two days mine was at 83MB..

IMO huge improvement over stock HTC browser. Seems to load pages faster, and I really like the way the implemented the tab browsing.

The only downside I found was with the address bar periodically disappearing. Nothing that can't be fixed by closing it in the ics task manager.

That's funny , its the other way around for me chrome pushes 100mb and the stock pushes 10

I tried it 2 different times and i think it sucks.Im having trouble with the ICS browser but i will deal with it instead of using chrome.

The one thing I don't like about is page caching, I mean when I go back it reloads the page again instead of just showing the cached one... Is there a way to change that?

Stock web browser!?

Don't laugh but I've only just noticed the z1 doesn't come with a stock browser, or mine is missing??
Is there a stock apk avaliable? ?

Mine came with Chrome. I now us Boat browser which seem to be a lot faster and battery affiant than Chrome

mine came with 'browser' and chrome (uk pre-order BH901)

Funny that as I am using boat. Disabled chrome as I don't like it.
Do u know the difference is between boat and boat mini??

CB512, no browser, only chrome but that is fine with me

adding custom RSS feed to blinkfeed in sense 5.5

Hi,
does anyone know how to add custom rss feed to blinkfeed?
i have updated my butterfly s to the latest rom Maximus HD12.0.1...and i tried searching the forum....
i am using chrome beta but when i click on any rss feeds, it just takes me to XML webpage instead of prompting me with the option of blinkfeed rss...
is anyone experiencing this?

thank you for the suggestion as well...custom rss isn't working when i put the address within blinkfeed...not sure why
UPDATE: got it working now. i had to use STOCK browser....CHROME BETA didn't work...thanks!

[Q] pic and link issue with tapatalk and xda

OK, so I noticed yesterday that I cannot upload any pic through the xda or tapatalk apps. I found out today that my links are not showing in the apps either. Here is 3 pics of the same post, one from tapatalk, one from xda, and the other from chrome. This is really annoying. I did have adaway installed, but removed it. I did revert back to the stock hosts file in adaway before removing it, I even reinstalled it, updated, removed it, and checked my hosts file before uninstalling it.
Anyone have any clue?

I had the same issue. I have tapatalk pro and it was crashing adding pictures. Downloaded the free version and it works for pix.

Hmmmmmmmm. I hate this layout!!! But it seems to work. Wonder why?

I'm not sure why it works, but I found it when my pro version notified me of an update(?) to Tapatalk.

Have you tried to go back to an older version? I didn't know there was an update. Must have happened when I got the phone.

I did 2 things.... although I think It was the second that fixed it.
I froze the gallery. I use snap gallery anyway, but that choice was not coming up to upload a pic.
The second thing I did was, when you first open tapatalk, go to settings... towards the bottom, yummy will see enable editor checked. Unchecked this. Then try to upload a pic.

That was my issue. Once I saw that and remove it, it started working for attachments only.

YouTube freezes

A really weird problem here, guys. Official YouTube app freezes very often, once it happened, it doesn't work properly until reboot. No other problems with another similar apps. No root. SM-T715. Stock MM. MM came at the beginning of June (via wi-fi). Any suggestions, folks?

This also happens with mine. YouTube freezes for a second or 2 but audio carries on then they are out of sync

No I was just sending my reply from HTC 10. Happnes on my Galaxy Tab S2

This is happening on my S2, but not just youtube, any video app I use. Anyone ever find a fix?

Thought I was the only one, happens quite often and have to reboot to fix the issue.
