Just noticed that Goat Simulator which is about 5 bucks on play store is free on the Samsung Galaxy apps, but it's an older version (1.1 while 1.4 on play store). I think it's for all Samsung devices since it's not in apps for S6
its a trial version. you still have to buy it if you want to keep playing it
amazon underground has the full version for free , get it from there

Ok, so i discovered they had jetpack joyride for android.. I didnt know this before lol. I discovered it using the amazon app store for android, which you can find here: http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011
You have to have an amazon account. So if you dont, make one. sign in, and download it via the QR Code method.
Honestly, I think the amazon app store might have a larger variety of games then the play store imo.
Hi,
I was wondering if it worth to be included in Samsung apps and Amazon store. Do any of you have experience with them?
I've read that Amazon paid installs are higher than Google Play, but they've a higher (and annual) fee.

I found Amazon pretty good. I sell there about 33% of what I sell in Google play.
They reduce 30% tax for developer out of the USA, so that's a bummer.
Well...
Started with the Amazon store a month a go. A few sales now and then but I really expected higher sales. I read that people tend to spend more money on the Amazon store than with Google Play but could not really see this myself until now.

I didn't have a good experience at all. Making even the smallest change in the developer console takes week(s) to reflect on the app's page. And my app sales there were almost non-existent. Closed my account.

This is where your marketing comes in. Amazon does well, but it ISN'T play, so you will have to kind of bring your customers there. You already closed your account, so there's no point in talking about it, but did you have YouTube trailers, did you have App Review sites mention where your app is? Did you do Social Media marketing through low cost sites like Fiverr?
These are the routes you're going to have to take if you push apps outside of the main app stores.
Hi,
In case someone is thinking about selling apps on Samsung Apps, here is a little warning...
In other app stores, developers can expect to get 70% of the sales, but on Samsung you barely get 30% of the sales.
There are huge fees, different in every country (sometimes > 90% in some countries) and you are paid more than 6 months after the sales...
OK you may get some interesting sales if you have the chance to get your app promoted, but be warned, most of the cash will go to Samsung agents and commissionaires...

I finally went to Samsung with my free apps. It requires a commercial verified account in order to sell apps. My experience with Samsung is a terrible portal and very long time waiting for updating the apps.
I've got quite different feeling about Samsung Apps (but my app is free...) - in fact it seems that right now SA makes 4/5 times more downloads than Google Play...

Yes, it worth it, even if the results are now low by far from G Play, But there is less competition and these two markets are like android market 4 years ago. They are growing fast, so if you get your apps on the top there you can expect the same success made by some famous apps on Play Store

After todays paypal payment problem.. i will never use any payment system! ''except play store''... :]
+Google app store [Easy to use, easy to pay, make refunds, payment check, many apps, propely best paid free app store.]
+Samsung app store [First of all many updates, give some other app when updated samsung app ''like 2 sam stores...'' raly lack of games, best stupid kid place to buy stupid old games. :0]
+Amazon app store [Never used.. but i thing its abit like 'play store' but less apps, some disscounds, easy to find app, many tags.]
...Just use Play store, and mob.org or apkmani ^^ (tegra3 ru are great place for tegra users)

Just sign in here http://developer.amazon.com/home.html it's free
What apps do you guys like the best? Which one are the most used and most useful?
Here are mine.
Allcast since I cant mirror my videos or photos on my Samsung and LG smart tvs I found this app very useful. Premium version is £3 and there is no limit video lengths.
Amazon App Store gives a paid app for free everyday. Some can find them quite rubbish some can find them quite useful and occasionally they do free apps weekend where I have downloaded very good apps such as Shazam encore, Officesuite Pro 7, Tunein Radio Pro, Runtastic Pro, Sketchbook Pro, Swype Keyboard, The Chase (game) etc.
App of the Day is giving a paid app for free daily too.
Hotukdeals is an app is your access to deals, voucher codes, freebies and savings right on your mobile device. Never pay retail price again.
Dolphin Browser or Mozilla Firefox are good browsers where you can play flash videos by downloading Adobe Flash Player for KitKat 4.4.2.
Adblock Plus for Android is good for blocking ads but not as good as Adfree. If you are rooted I would recommend using Adfree.
Here is a list of my top 50 (in alphabetical order):
One that comes to mind is Hushed for when I run out of minutes or service and I want to cheaply call people.
I am a new android developer publishing my apps under the company name DigiEvo. App Studio. When I published my apps on play store,I also published them on Amazon just because publishing to amazon was free.
Google play is more user friendly than the amazon store and it has lot more apps. This gives an edge to the play store. But it is not good for developers. For eg,I got 800 total downloads on Amazon and $50 in revenue. But only 10 downloads and $0 from play store till now. May be the poor play store performance is because of lack of marketing(shame on me). But the promotion and support given by amazon appstore for new apps looks promising. One of my apps(Ultimate Volume Control pro)became a #1 amazon bestseller within 2 weeks after launch in ringtones and notifications category.
The bottom line is ,at least to me ,the amazon appstore is the best market for new developers to publish their apps. Anyway its free,so it is worth a shot..

In slideme also,I have no downloads yet.
This is surprising
I thought google play was best for both devs and users .Now I understood that for new developers amazon is the best.
I have been thinking about publishing in the amazon app store, but i already have the app published in slideme and google play. Soon I have too many app stores to update
It would be nice if other developers could post if they have had similar experiences with the amazon store?
Anyone tried to get these games from the play store yet. I've tried last night but did not get any free in-game purchases or anything.

Thx for the reply,
I've looked there already these games are not on that list. Plus the site listed that the offer is for the playstore not galaxy app store.
Hit
Vainglory
Olympus Rising
Nonstop Knight

Per Samsung's website:
"The Galaxy Note7 also features Game Pack, available through Google Play, including top game titles, an easier redemption process and new user benefits."
I wonder where we can get them?

OK, I think I figured it out. the reason my download did not work because I download those games yesterday on the 19th, I uninstalled and reinstalled the promotion started today the 20th. Just uninstall and reinstall your Samsung freebies will be given out after you completed the tutorial the gift will show up. I got 2000 gems and a bunch of goodies for the game HIT, i love this game its awesome!
I still don't see a list specifically for note 7 in the Galaxy app store.

I just went to the google play store and downloaded Hit,Vainglory and Olympus Rising. Played them just past the in game tutorials and was notified in game i was awarded stuff from a Samsung promotion. I tried Need For Speed No Limits and haven't got anything unless i haven't played far enough or some how missed it.
Hope this helps somehow.

Same with me I got Hit, Olympus Rising, and Nonstop Knight working with freebies but not Vainglory, Need for Speed No Limits, or Asphalt 8: Airborne. I wonder if its because I played those games before and google just pulled up my old saved game and that caused the Samsung freebies not to work?

You need to download them from the Google play store not the Galaxy App store.
