Please friends, anybody can help-me?
Sorry for english, hug's for all.

Have you tried turning off "Reactivation Lock" in settings->security?
What it "Reactivation Lock" does is, it turns off the ability to flash roms so that, when your phone gets stolen, it becomes useless if its password protected. To turn it off go to setting> security and turn off 'Reactivation Lock'.

If this method doesn't work, please describe in detail exactly what steps you did.

Thank you for your help my friend;
Reactivation Lock not reoganize in note 5.
-
I follow this steps:
unlock deve mode, turn on USB Debugging..
shutdown my phone, enter in download mode.
open odin, select the modified kernel in AP option. and click in start.
I see this mensage in download mode:
Custom Binary(boot) Blocked by FRP lock - have any connection with Fingerprint unlock metod?

Kindly be clear as to whether or not the "reactivation lock" is off on your phone.
Here is a link which shows detailed steps as to how to find the reactivation lock option on the phone -
samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00040928/997345371/SM-G920AZKZAIO
The link is for s6, but you can roughly follow the steps to find the option for reactivation lock in note 5.
Revert back when you have found it.

In my note 5 have only :
Remote control
google location serve
and sim change alert.
Dont show Reactvation lock

Here are a few steps you could try, and if none of them work, I am sorry I cannot help you -
1) Go into developer options-> enable the OEM unlock and try flashing via Odin again
2) Settings>Search>Reactivation Lock>log in into Samsung account and disable (Seriously, it should be there. Please look.)
3) Use this link for Odin - dl.sammobile.com/Odin3_v3.10.7.zip
And this link for your kernel - androidfilehost.com/?fid=24369303960688397

Steps 1 2 3 dont work.
Step 4: sorry for i'm like a dumbass but the kernel you send to me is a .zip file, where i put in odin if accept only .tar .md5 etc etc...
i need to rename extension?
man, sorry and i appreciate your help, really thank you for your time.

My understanding is that Samsung took out the Reactivation Lock for the Note 5. There are a few guides in the general section. Here is one that another poster mentioned. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/general/how-to-root-note-5-t3205073
There are others. My advice to you is read, read, read, and then read some more. Learn how to get back to stock in the event something goes wrong. There are a lot of helpful people here but I do not think there are a lot of people who are willing to hold your hand the whole way. I am not trying to be rude to you and for all I know there is no root for your version. Good luck

hey guys, i had success on root!

So far 40 reads and no replies. I gather it is hopeless. My computer does not see the GT and neither does, of course, Odin.
Have you tried putting it back into download mode again and reflashing

Sure.
1. Rooted using SuperOneClick v1.9.1 - worked like a charm.
2. Enabled non-market apps using SuperOneClick v1.9.1 - also worked like a charm
3. Installed SGT-Bootloader-Patch-v1.00.apk and verified bootloaders were fine (status okay)
4. Backed up to SD Drive some apps - Titanium Backup
5. Ran Odin 1.7 in download mode
- set to repartition automatically
- Pressed “PIT” button and selected: gt- p1000_mr.pit
- Pressed “PDA” button and selected: GB_Stock_Safe_v1.tar
- Pressed "Phone" button and selected “JK3 Modem - modem.bin“
locked up for hour first time, reran once when screen above appeared and GT died
Thanks again
How much battery life did the Tab have when you started this process?
Flashing is VERY battery intensive, and if you left it for an hour afterwards, then tried again... that could easily be 30-40% of your battery. If you started with less than 50% there is a good chance you allowed the battery to die during the flashing process. IF that is the case, than yes, it's hard bricked and need's jtagging.
Lucky you, connexion2005 is unbricking a lot of devices these days.... Send him a PM and see if he can't fix it for you.
I also just realized he lives in the same state as me.... HONEYCOMB TESTER HERE!

Thank you for the help.
If you connect it to pc with no reaction. connect it to the charger, if you saw the pc and decice logo with the yellow exlamnation mark. Then the only way to fix it is through Samsung repair center. Don't worry most probably they will diagnose it as mainboard failure and swap it for you.
Next time, check your bootloader then flash it once, twice, if still did not work try to search over the net, before keeping flashing flashing flashing flashing flashing flashing flashing flashing flashing

Assuming I am brave or an idiot (or as is most likely both), is the process I used correct? If I make sure the phone is charged after each step will it work, or is there something else I missed or should do?
I make no guarantees, but yes, your process looks good. Verify the modem is correct and that SHOULD be ok.
No need to charge each step, just make sure you are at 100 when you start and don't leave it alone till it is done.

"THE GB bootloaders are signed yes but are not secured and they are needed for GB to boot making that patch pointless since kernels and mods can be installed whether bootloaders are signed or not"
I think the fact that you patched the bootloader has something to do with the issue you are facing. I think you downgraded the bootloader which is risky.
It's my opinion, not too sure though.
As many people advised here, try to charge the tab for a couple of hours and see if there is any change.
Question: Did you notice any horizontal lines in the tab? (white, green, blue, red...etc)

First, I want to thank you and everyone else who has responded. I may still have a brick, but at least I do not feel as alone.
Second, you may be right about the patch. It is the only thing I did that is different than many other people. That should not have been the case though, as the patch was supposed to report a problem - not make one.
Third, I am tempted to wait for Kies to bring us gingerbread and hex edit this so I can use it as a phone. Seems safer, no?

Charging did change a thing. The GT would not turn on, would not go to download mode, was not recognized by the desktop computer or a new laptop and could not be placed in download mode: a true brick.
Because the device was a few weeks old, Samsung is going to replace. I will still need to figure out how to use as a phone.

Galaxy S I9000M - keep rebooting (software brick)

Hi,
I managed to brick my Samsung Galaxy S I9000M.
Was locked on Virgin network (Canada) and I was trying to root the phone and then unlock it.
But something didn;t work properly (or I made a mistake) and now the phone keeps rebooting. I can go into Download mode but nothing more.
This is what I did:
1) I installed Odin 1.85
2) I started ODIN as admin, I pressed on PDA and then I selected a zip folder called
"CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVO-v3.2-CWM3RFS"
3) This is what ODIN was showing:
<ID:0/003> Added!!
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> zImage
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003> RQT_CLOSE !!
<ID:0/003> RES OK !!
<ID:0/003> Completed..
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)
<ID:0/003> Removed!!
5) So after waiting 5-6 minutes (in this time the phone was rebooting up to the Samsung logo) I turned off the phone and I have tried to start the device. But is not starting anymore, it keeps rebooing.
Now I don't know what to do to fix it.I know that I made a big mistake, I was not supposed to do something without knowing what I'm doing...But now it's too late, I have to fix it.
Note: The phone was running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
if its in boot loop then look like it's only softwoer brick.
so if you can get in to download mode by 3 bouten combination greate you can try to reflash (I will try all so to redownloading the files)
if not than you must find a JIG or some one with a JIG to get in to download mode and reflash.
The version of CF-ROOT you selected is not compatible with the version of GB (UGKG3?) that was on your phone.
If your phone had UGKG3 installed, there are very few rooted kernels available for it.

Is the latest speed mod kernel compatible?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Yes, I can go into download mode.
How can I reflash the phone ? Which kernel should I use ?
Sorry but I'm new in this.
If you give me some links that will be great.
I don't want to aggravate the situation .
If the OP has/had UGKG3 installed, I have found that to be the oddest ROM I have used to date on my phone.
It does a lot of things differently.
I made another post on here where I attached a basic rooted kernel for the UGKG3 ROM. Let me go find it and link to it.
Again, this is assuming it was UGKG3. Ma Bell has only released one GB ROM for the GT-i9000m, so I think it's a safe bet that's what the OP was running on his Virgin branded phone.
EDIT: Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21655532&postcount=492
This will give you a basic rooted kernel, no CWM or anything else, just root.
You'll also need to download Superuser from the Market.
Thank you.
Now how should I install that kernel?
I suppose that after I reflash the phone it will start normally and then I can go to the Android market and install Superuser from there?
Is there a link with instructions (Step by Step guide)?
Sorry, but I dont have too much experience with this.
Thanks a lot!
I found this in the General thread, it has links and step-by-step instructions:

[Q] Need

Currently using my first android device! Samsung galaxy note 3 for att and I decided to root it. I am currently running 4.3 but want to update to 4.4 in hopes of fixing some gps issues i've been having. I tried to use ODIN to load up the stock 4.3 firmware but have been encountering some errors. My phone no longer turns on, when it does it says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" please select recovery mode in kies and try again. I have downloaded keys 3 and tried to recover it using that but no luck. Am willing to post screens or answer any questions you guys may have!.
Are you on 4.4.2 or 4.3? If you're on 4.3, have you tried the MJ5 restore posted in the general section?

Im on 4.3. I've only tried using Odin and kies which have both failed me. what im about to try is "androidrootz.com/2013/10/how-to-unrootunbrick-at-galaxy-note-3.html".. can you link to your suggestion?
I'm not sure how to copy/paste links with Tapatalk, but if you go to the general sub form for the AT&T Note 3 on this website it should be on the first page. Look for a thread titled "MJ5 restore and optionally provides root" or something along those lines. It's a somewhat long process that can be intimidating at first, but if you read the directions and follow them exactly you should be good to go.

Be sure that the "Reactivation lock" in settings>security is Unchecked
and be sure that you have USB debugging enabled before odin flashing.
After doing that you should no longer have odin flashing errors or issues.
Good luck!

I accidentally wiped my sd card in twrp and now I'm having trouble downloading from a lot of apps. How can I fix this? Would I have to Odin back to a stock firmware to get it back to where it was? Titanium back up and other apps say I have insufficient space, but I know I have a good amount. I reflashed the ROM I've been on and started fresh, but I'm still having issues. Thanks in advanced.

Uninstall titanium backup and re-download/install it from the play store then have titanium backup
detect backup location under preferences>backup location in settings then restart titanium backup.
Once you do that it will work fine.
Good luck!
TWRP 2.8.1.0 is not installing on my Tmo Galaxy Note 4
I don't know what's going on guys. I know I am doing everything the right way but for some reason whenever i get back to turning the phone off hitting Vol up/Home/ Power key it takes me to the android boot screen vs the twrp android boot screen.
I am using the img.tar file in odin under the pda option
I have odin set to auto re-boot
i turn the phone off and hit the command
nothing.
Using this twrp in odin
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-trltetmo.img.tar
if someone can please help me out greatly appreciated.
Is the phone rooted? With bootloader unlocked? Did u use CF auto root?
If so u can flash recovery with FLASHIFY [ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify] from the play store. Just download the .IMG file for TWRP in the app and let it flash it.

Thanks for your help man I did end up figuring it out. For some reason the auto reboot was causing the issue. I had to turn that off and manually pull the battery out etc for it to work.
Worked great and I'm now running cm12
thanks for this
I'm guessing twrp 3.0.0 dosent work for the kindle fire (otter) right?

I gave you the correct file for what you need to do if you have the n910t, for more specifics look the post above me.
Here is the correct way of installing twrp 3.0 image file, straight from your existing recovery (twrp)
When you boot into your current Recovery 2.8.7.0 and click on Install - Bottom Right you'll see a Image Button - Click on this - The next Screen will show Boot and Recovery - You want to click on Recovery and Swipe to install.
Thats it. (All the phones that I did this were N910T, so was the image file for my device trltmo)
Here is the direct link for twrp 3.0 image file for 910t
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24407100847294047
Also if u have different model(carrier) just find it here and follow the steps:

Button combo does not work, goes to recovery booting loop. This is the problem. That's the first thing i did. I haven't seen a hard brick on any of my devices in 12 years.

Galaxy S7 (G930F) black screen w keylock need recover data (rookie)

Hi all,
my Galaxy S7 got water in after service repair and screen blacked out. Samsung does not help me out in any matter even it's their fault. They did not "glue" de back cover properly.
Anyway, I am going to buy a new device now but I want to copy my holiday pics, some additional files and whatsapp stuff. While Whatsapp is not that much important as it will probably restore most of the conversations in the new phone then.
I've been reading now in this forum and some others for the last whole week but I am a bit confused and actually was not able to find the solution which fits for me.
So I kindly ask for the experts here if possible to guide me a bit.
Which would be the most simple and safe way to access e.g. the adb. Flashing a rom seems to require some actions on the device which is not possible. May be a bootloader? CWM is being mentioned everywhere but I cannot find the correct version for S7 for download.
For those who are interested and better understanding, below you can find detailed information what the current situation is.
Device Model : G930F.
Device is working except the screen (lucky? I don't know).
When I charge it and switch on, after a while I can use the whatsapp over PC with the phone powered on. All media is still available.
I have fingerprint protection. Cannot use it because as you know S7 asks to enter the password when power up.
I've tried to enter the password but was apparently not successful. Smart Switch says unlock device first. when I think I've entered the password it says "device is not allowing file transfer over usb. Unlock your device first and bla bla"
did the same with the OTG adapter of S7 out of the box and connected a keyboard. but the same.
USB Debugging is OFF.
Google and Samsung Device manager are off.
Wireless is on

Connecting the keyboard to type the password should unlock the device as long as you are certain that you are entering the password correctly at the correct time. After that, you probably also need to find a way to access USB options to enable MTP access. Then you should be able to retrieve your data.
Also, if there is a version of TWRP recovery for your model number, you can boot to download mode and flash the TWRP recovery, then boot into TWRP recovery, then you can access your data by connecting to adb while in TWRP to pull copies of what you want using an adb terminal, or you can use the terminal that is built into TWRP to retrieve the data from the device directly instead of using PC, you can also probably use the file manager that is built into TWRP to copy your data.
There are also various android data recovery programs for PC. Try your luck with a few, one may work for you, they're all about the same so there really isn't one better than the other.

Thanks for the advice.
One questions;
* I understand that when I root or install any custom rom the device locks the private folder. That would mean I will loose some files there. Or would you say TWRP is not a ROM thus I would be able to acces them. Asuming I access the device with my password?
One more thing,
I am now reading the procedures for TWRP but it seems it needs some actions from the touch screen which I cannot do.
Do I miss anything?
Update:
I tried to to install TWRP with Odin but it fails.

TWRP isn't "locked out" of anything, it does what it wants wherever it wants to do it.
Also, root gives you the power to access, modify or remove anything about the device. There are no files or folders that you would be locked out of.
What were you reading that says the private folder would be locked?
What is the model number of your device?

Have you researched whether your device model number has a locked bootloader? If the bootloader is locked then flashing TWRP won't work.
You can also try reading this thread for failed Odin flash.

I believe it was in one of the threads in a forum or even XDA. But did not saved the link. Sorry.
Model number of my device is : SM-G930F
The device is as it is. Stok. Did not touched anything. even most of the settings might be in default mode. Did just OTA upgrades as soon as they were released. So it's up to date now.
I did a lot research but I'm not sure what that is. "Locked Bootloader" I don't remember that I have read such subject.
In summary what do u want???
