ok so i have a note 4 n910t. It started to act up two days ago rebooting randomly and i did a factory reset along with clearing cache. It was on stock 5.1.1 dok2. I then tried to odin the firmware instead and i ran into some errors. Odin wouldnt finish and always fails and the phone in download mode says flash error failed and sometimes i had emmc error.
I tried even the PIT file with the stock firmware. I cannot try any other firmware with odin because you cannot downgrade after on dok2.
Can someone please help with this issue?
Did you try smartswitch?

Hi all,
EDIT: After many false starts and some nervous near-brick experiences, I managed to solve my problem with one of the simplest solutions I hadn't thought of: Heimdall. I just extracted the tar file then dropped each individual file into Heimdall and reflashed the Tab and it is now back from the dead, ready to be reflashed.
After my GT-P1000T started having some unexplained slowness and FC's, I thought I would flash it back to stock before upgrading to the newer Overcome ROM. So I wiped my Overcome 3.0.1 Jupiter Tab from Clockworkmod and then plugged it into my 64-bit Win7 machine to try and flash it back to stock. Dropping the necessary JQ1 files (including the TAR, PIT and Modem files) into Odin with all options checked .
Unfortunately, Odin gets quite a way into flashing factoryfs.rfs and then throws a FAIL! message and the Tab restarts to the weird phone-triangle-pc icon on-screen at which point Odin re-recognises it.
I have tried toggling re-partition, rebooting the Tab, rebooting the PC, changing ports, redownloading the files and running Odin with admin privs, all to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get back to working condition?
Do a search for Telstra rom galaxy tab, reflash that to see if it works. Then retry flashing gb...
Never had trouble flashing but I generally restock the telstra rom first....
Cheers...
I rooted my note 5 the other day using Odin which was successful , decided I wanted to unroot since I have an sm-920T and keep the getting a pop up message due to a t-mobile app and being rooted. I deleted the t-mobile app but kept getting the pop up message associated with it.
I downloaded some stock roms and tried flashing with Odin but it kept failing to write and the process of flashing only worked in twrp which I did. I had issues with my phone randomly restarting and often too. I did some googling and figured I had a corrupted pit file. I download firmware boh6 and the associated pit file and followed the directions to the letter and I keep coming up with a write fail in odin. Any ideas on how to fix this or solve the issue?

Install Smart Switch (Kies for newer models) on a computer, and use the option Emergency software recovery and initialization.
My N910T went bricked last night after running Screen Burn-Fix for hours.
After several tries it was able to boot and function normally except having random boot.
Previous OTA upgrade may have been dirty I assumed so I decided to clean wipe and re-flash 6.0.1 with odin.
Wiped everything with TWRP except external storage (had no SD card).
Flashed with official EJ2 and succeed at 2nd try.
New system runs smooth however bootup was laggy.
I figured I should have done the wiping again after first fail. So I wiped it and start over again.
Now it fails every time.
It was difficult enough to flash twrp. 2 out of 3 times it would fail.
Flashing ROM fails every time.
I get mmc-read failed in Odin sometimes.
eMMC write fail aboot sometimes.
Says no PIT binary sometimes.
Sometimes it would not respond to the 3-key boot to Odin mode.
Tried different versions of Odins /Samsung driver/USB port/ USB cable
Haven't tried unofficial Roms and the phone is not rooted.
Any help?
Now Odin mode says as I try to install TWRP
ODIN: flash read failure
ERROR: there is no pit binary
ODIN: flash read failure
Problem solved by flashing a moded 6.0.1 zip file with SD card over twrp.
Could have been connection problem in odin.

Hello every one!
I am having bootloop problems on my tab s2 SM-T817T. I tried to flash the firmware through odin using stock firmwares from Sammobile. I was able to flash the Android 6.0 firmware but when it booted, it became extremely slow. I tried to turn on wifi and it keeps turning off by itself. It is so slow I cannot even set up my google account. I tried to flash the 5.0 firmware but there was a rev check failture.
I tried to flash the android 6.0 firmware again and the bootloop problems comes back again. I was able to wipe the cache but I was unable to do a factory reset. There was an error message saying that there was an issue mounting the drive.
Can anyone please kindly help me? thank you!
I flashed Android Wear onto my watch (March 4th release on this page) and Google Services was super buggy and wouldn't stop crashing, so I tried to flash the vanilla OS back but it constantly fails.
I've tried flashing the Tizenmod Full Restore zip from the page, but it wouldn't flash. The first time it said "INVALID SIGNATURE: BOOT" on the screen so I tried to flash it again and this time it said nothing on the screen. I spent several more hours trying everything, the 'Extreme Recovery' with TizenModFull but I could not flash it either so I tried the stock firmware, 2 different versions of Odin, different USB ports, different firmware's and even tried re partitioning with a PIT file I got from Heimdall on my main computer but I still couldn't flash anything onto the watch (When flashing with re partition and a PIT file it said "INVALID SIGNATURE: PIT", but not consistently).
EDIT: The logs from Odin this guy got are pretty much exactly the same as mine.
Does anything know anyway I can get the stock firmware back onto my watch? Thank you.
