Stuck at bootloader and PC not recognizing android mobile - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Thanks for doing this. I have run into this tricky situation. I will provide some background info:
I have Cyanogenmod 11 on my HTC One m7 (AT&T) by unlocking the bootloader. This morning I wanted to revert back to HTC Sense. I accidentally did a wipe on my phone and now it is stuck on the bootloader screen. In addition to this, my phone is not being detected by my PC/laptop/laptop 2 even after installing the drivers on these laptops/PC.
I have attached few images of my current HTC one m7 screen. No matter what option I select I end up on the same screen and in the same state.
I am requesting your help to restore my device to normal.
Thank you to all the experts out there!

If you were using a custom rom and custom recovery why is your bootloader relocked? You can't boot custom software with a relocked bootloader.
If you took the picture while your phone was connected to your computer then there is something really wrong. FASTBOOT AC should only be displayed when the phone is ocnnected to a wall charger. When connected to your computer, its should say FASTBOOT USB. This could be caused by using a bad usb cable or maybe your phone/computer usb port is messed up.
Once your connectivity issue is solve you could flash this RUU to bring back your phone to stock.

I had the exact same issue. I relocked my bootloader on my laptop trying to go back to stock. My laptop ended up dying so I hopped onto my gaming rig and ran fastboot. My computer wasn't recognizing my phone in fastboot and I couldnt boot into CyanogenMod. I spent hours doing research and trying to fix it. I was ready to switch back to my old iPhone because my HTC wasn't working. Before doing that though I decided to try connecting my phone to my laptop again and see if it was a software issue. It worked perfectly and I unlocked my bootloader again so I could go back to my custom OS because I didn't want to deal with a bunch of that other crap to get back to stock. My point is you should try to use a different computer or usb cable if you can.

[Q] OTA updated on rooted phone

Hi, I have a rooted HTC One running the Google Play Edition ROM (first rooted device) but I stupidly hit the 4.3 OTA update when I got the notification. Apparently this is a big no-no, but I didn't know any better and now my phone can't get past HTC's splash screen. I can still enter bootloader and recovery (CWM 6.0.3.2) but that's about it.
I don't have a ROM on the internal memory, so can't just revert to the previous 4.2.2 and because I can't enter the phone's settings to turn on USB Debugging. The phone does not show up in Windows Explorer, nor in 'adb devices' when I do the usual thing on Command Prompt. The phone shows up in Device Manager under Android USB Devices as 'My HTC' but again, no device will appear in Command Prompt, otherwise I'd adb push a new ROM onto the phone.
I've tried clearing cache, dalvik and so on with zero luck. It's causing me all sorts of grief and I've been pulling out my hair since yesterday. I've heard that an OTG micro-USB cable might help by loading a ROM onto a flash card, but I'm looking at a few days delivery (at least) and would like to get this problem sorted ASAP. If you can help, I'll name my firstborn after you.

I think an RUU for your carrier will do the trick. There are a lot of RUU's posted in the HTC One forums in the various sections, search and find the one for your phone/carrier. Pretty sure that will do the trick!

Hi, I've read up on this option but apparently it unroots my phone and basically returns it to factory settings. This will be my last choice. Thankfully all my photos from a recent trip have been backed up to Dropbox/Drive, but I'd need to root again and jump through all the hoops. I simply want a way to get a new ROM onto the phone to flash it, but neither of my computers are recognising the phone in recovery, with USB debugging off.

Dude, have you a phone that won't get past the splash screen, and you're worried about losing data? If you could get a computer to see the phone, you could push a rom to it in ADB and then sideload it in recovery. If you can't, I think you're left with an RUU I'm afraid.

You can just root/unlock/s-off it after, you've come this far already so you should be familiar with the short process
Flash a ROM using an OTG cable if you have one.

Cheers for the info guys. I think I'll wait till Monday to buy an OTG cable, fingers crossed this will work. In hindsight, I should have kept some ROM on the phone memory or left debugging on. At least now I'll know not to do an OTA update on a rooted phone.

Help Plz! USB not working, is it possible to restore stock?

So about two nights ago I noticed my phone wasn't taking a charge and eventually died. Once the phone was powered off it charges fine but turn it on and no more charging or connect to PC. So I've been searching for a solution since then as this would seem to be a software issue but nothing I have done has made a bit of difference. Now I want to bring the device back to 100% stock to either start fresh or make an exchange with T-Mobile.
Every way to restore to stock required fastboot & adb which obviously I cannot do since I cannot connect to PC. Please share any insights or at the very least steer me in the direction of the light. Thanks

First, if you can boot into android, download a zip of your stock from your phone and flash it through recovery. If you can't do that, see if you have another micro usb cable, try connecting it to your phone and pc and see if that works. If not, cycle through your boot modes connected to pc (bootlader, android -if possible-, and recovery). Do you hear any sounds from your pc that indicate something is connected to it? Especially important for recovery to stock. If you hear a sound when you boot into recovery, you can flash the stock RUU or zip to get your phone back to stock. Next, disconnect phone from your pc, uninstall htc sync and all drivers for the phone. Reconnect the phone to your pc after that, and if it boots to android, it should reinstall sync and drivers automatically. Aside from this, the only other thing I can think of would be an exchange due to faulty usb. Hope this helps. I've included a couple of links to your stock RUU and zip (I'm assuming your T-mobile US). I hope this helps. -Mike
T-Mobile stock nandroid zip (Note: You need CWM for this)
T-Mobile stock RUU (It's an .exe you run with the phone connected to pc in recovery. Scroll to the bottom for the download. You need stock recovery for this)
I hope this helps.
Mike
One more thing: You got lucky no one flamed you for posting a question in the general thread. Next time you should post a question in the Q&A thread. Not everyone is as nice as me around here.

[Q] Going back to stock without USB access

No longer have the device. Thanks for looking
I know on old/past devices, there was always a stock image that could be pushed to the device and loaded from the bootloader. I am looking for a similar solution for the HTC One. I cannot connect to the device via USB, so all the current outlined methods of using fastboot are a no-go for me. [RUU, fastboot, etc.] The phone is being sent in for warranty repair [not for the USB issue oddly enough, forgot to mention it], so i wanted to revert to stock.
Currently: Rooted, S-ON, HTC Unlocked Bootloader.
History of device: Fell in the ocean during his summer. After a bunch of flaky behavior, stabilized with only USB not working [but charges]. The phone started to loose SIM connection, so warranty exchange requested. [I know I will likely be charged, as the water-sticker is probably red, but wanted to try and revert the device anyway]
I can ADB via TCP/IP, but fastboot I know cannot do the same. Any way to revert or should I just ship it off and accept the inevitable
Thanks guys!

[Q] Softbricked, can't get into recovery,HELP with $$!! NYC

Hey guys,
Long story short.
I have a htc one m7 tmobile version
Flashed Kitkat with S-on (really stupid)
phone rooted
bootloader unlocked
S-On
Now softbricked, can't get into recovery, is able to get in bootloader, phone keeps rebooting.
Tried factory reset, no success
tried adb/fastboot, my pc wasn't able to detect the phone, no device listed
tried all in one flash tool, trying to reflash recovery, no success either cuz phone not found
when usb was plugged in, 'fastboot usb' shows up on phone's screen, but no real communication established. Windows' notification bar shows htc phone unplugged even though it's plugged in.
I guess usb debugging is off, but i don't know how to enable it
anyone had similar problem, any help will be appreciated
any NYC member here, i'm willing to pay 50 bucks for fixing this, sorry i'm poor, that's all i can afford T_T
Thanks in advance!!

HTC one M7 TWRP problem. No OS installed. Please Help

I bought an unlocked htc one m7 that workd with my carrier.
I then go home to find out the google play store wont open no matter the steps i tried to get it to work.
Clearing the cache, restarting ect. Accessing android file transfer. Nothing worked.
I called htc and they told me to call google. google told me to do a hard reset. When i did that. i went into twrp mode, which is when i realized the phone was rooted. I then did a complete whipe of absolutely everything. Wrong move on my part.
I should have done factory reset within the normal bootloader screen itself. However i did, and i deleted the OS accidentally and the phone doent say its rooted anymore. When i do a restart twrp asks me if i want to root my phone as it is not rooted and i think teh SuperSU has been removed as well. However, on the normal bootloader options screen from holding teh power button and the volume down button it still says unlocked and tampered on the top.
Anyways, my question is. I am trying to either flash a stock jelly bean rom (my preferred software) onto the phone, or just lock teh bootloader and flash the RUU.
My phone connects to my pc and says fastboot usb. My computer doesnt recognize it through htc sync manager ect. But it says that.
What do i need to use ADB sideload on my mac?
Do i have to install ADP and SDK tools on my mac? How do i use teh terminal commands, what is the process?
Should i just relock the bootloader adn install the RUU?
Can i instal a previous verson such as the 4.3 jellybean original software for the htc one m7 through a stock RUU?
Will installing the RUU give me the latest version of OS for the m7? Cause i want jellybean.
Please answer each of these questions with as much info as you are willing to give. That would be greatly appreciated.
Will post pictures if requested as i have another htc one m7 i can take pictures with, i am first time posting so not sure how.
