is there any app, that can change the functionality of the multimedia buttons on the cable? so i could easily buy an iphone cable and change the button functionality.
the original earphone is not the one that i want. the music controller is good, but my ears suffer a lot due to the giant top size. i cut it and combine it with a 3.5mm extended-line, so i can use my own 3.5mm earphone instead, which is much better and comfortable.

In case if anyone wonders - the missing chip U507 is LM2757¹ (two extra GPIOs are connected to it, only one actually needed)
Schematic is in P705 Service Manual, PCB layout in P700

I haven't fitted or ordered it yet, cost isn't justifiable for me (yet )
¹ It provides only 5V 180mA - still useful for keyboard/mouse/non-vibrating gamepad etc… could be useful for other µUSB modes too

The bottom piece, presumably, is the scanner, and this round piece is one half (with the coil removed) of Huawei's "Acoustic Display Technology" speaker.
