So my Active recently developed a lag in the normal keyboard. It lags popping up. Lags typing. And lags sending.

Sometimes I will be in the middle of doing something and an app just drops my to the launcher no fc's just exits, this also happens constantly when I an using my music player which pretty much renders it useless, this happens often when rotating orientation, but also randomly without rotation, anyone else experience this. I'm on cm 5.0.7, I have had thesame problem since 5.0.5
Hi everyone,
I have a French Moto X 2014 newly updated to Lollipop and the proximity sensor has some issues.
I received the phone recently so I updated the phone immediately to 5.0. I can't say if the problem was there with 4.4.4.
The issue :
During calls, the proximity sensor works normally except when I call my voice mailbox. And especially when the dialpad is on-screen. The proximity sensor is then less sensitive and sometimes does not work at all : the screen stays on even if I completely cover the sensor.
On other calls, the proximity sensor is fast and reliable, the screen shuts down from farther than when I call my voice mail.
It's a really weird issue and I wonder if someone has this problem also.
Thanks
I think this is normal. This happens to me with my nexus 5 and on the moto x (when I had it) when I use the visual voicemail app. I don't think its a problem with the phone.

Yeah it happens to me too, but it happens no matter who I'm calling. Sometimes when I pull the phone away from my ear the notification shade is down or I'm in the clock app (presumably by way of Chronus which is my main home screen widget). I think it is a bug in android and not with the phone itself because like the poster above me stated, it also happens with my Nexus 5. Both my X and N5 are on 4.4.4.
Thanks guys for the info. It's kind of annoying though. I archived a message involuntarily with my cheek by clicking the dialer and it's a charged service... I'll be more cautious in the future.
So I just got my p9 plus, but I found it lacking in several aspects when I compared the fluidity of the phone with my OnePlus One.
One of the major problem that I am facing is with the issue of screen stuttering as I attempt scroll and stop without lifting my finger from the screen. If you do this slowly, the screen will stutter a little. I have tested this with a display unit and the same problem happened. Doesn't happen on the P9 though.
Has anyone faced similar problems?
This is so frustrating because it’s the only issue I have with this otherwise stellar phone!!!
Recorded this video from my iPhone Xs Max.
Annoying issue with my beloved Galaxy Note 9 512GB. Seems to stutter and lag occasionally when the camera is engaged whether it’s the native camera app, Facebook camera or Instagram camera...
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

There is a pretty large thread for this here and most say it's fixed with the latest update. I myself have not had this problem with my Snapdragon 128 gb. Indeed it sounds very frustrating.
My 128 at&t note does that too. It should be fixed whenever they get around to rolling out the next update.

My fingerprint reader is somehow way slower and feels laggy when the screen is off. When I use the reader while the display is on it's usually a lot faster. Is this normal?
Also I noticed when I'm calling someone, my display isn't turning off properly, it only turns off when I press the phone really hard against my ear. (And the display turns on nevertheless after a few seconds)
Last but not least, is it nornal that my display turns on when I receive notifications? It's not with every notification but with twitter for sure.
