Can anyone tell me how its possible to have a different wallpaper on your screen from your lock screen? I am by no means a newb and I can not figure out how to accomplish it without third party software and I find it amazing that in android 4.2 this isn't possible....

Not possible on Stock Android at this point. You would need a third party alternative.

Easy to do as long as your rooted, install xposed framework first and find gravity box apk, everything can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2421453
.After you install xposed framework reboot and install gravity box, make sure you enable the gravity box module through xposed framework and reboot again. Go to gravity box lock screen and you can change the picture for the lock screen with any you desire and again reboot

Xposed framework is a great little mod, basically you can mod any stock ROM, no need for a custom ROM anymore, you get have dual panel view and so much more even themes can be installed without a 3 rd party app or launcher

You may have some issues with xposed framework work correctly as your root method is not permanent, I would suggest do a soft reboot in between xposed framework and the modules as it seems after you do a full reboot, root is broken. It should work if jcase gets the bugs ironed out

It's not necessarily that simple as most of the 'stock' apps rely on the LG framework. If you want to test it then download one of the stock-based ROMs and extract the .apk from there.
Alternatively try one of the many camera apps fromt the Play Store or from our 'Apps' section.

Thanks a lot!
Works great on my phone with CM 10.2
Can someone with the newly updated moto camera and gallery post the apks and odex files? I like the moto camera/gallery a lot more than the stock ones and I have searched high and low without success.
Edit: thank you to @SX86 for making a flushable zip of the updated gallery and camera apps!
You can thank him and goto this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59516170 to get the link
Another member posted the apps, however I am getting FC's when I use the galleries edit button and the camera won't open. Is there a way to fix this by editing some system files?
Where'd you get them (which image, device, version, etc)?

Thanks - that looks like an older camera? The camera on the Droid Turbo looked more up-to-date. I would assume the Droid X 2014 would be too but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure, I know versions are posted there, thus one doesn't have HDR+ which leads me to believe it's might be the Moto G camera. I'm still looking for a viable replacement of the stock camera app that doesn't suck.

Tried putting them in priv-app
They would force close when I booted up without even opening them.
APKs attached below.

I can't seem to get apktool working for me yet. apktool 2.0 should be out soon - maybe this will fix it.
Yes, I'd be interested it getting at least the Moto Gallery working. (Should have been included anyway.)

I'm currently trying to port MOTO display but from what I've found so far is it's multiple APKs in multiple directories so I haven't quite found them all to copy just yet.
The apps here may give you issues on CM.
Try this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=62823450
Also forgot to mention all custom roms have the MOTO actions built in it is now called CMactions.apk ( usually found somewhere within configuration settings. )
