Help with boot logo - Teclast X98 Air 3G

Good evening, I have a strange problem since acquiring the tablet, which at first did not realize, I have the model Teclast x98 Air 3g c6j7 and overall I'm more than happy with the performance of it, I buy only windows for the I use to work as I need for my various programs every day.
The fact is that when I start the tablet, the typical logo Teclast and other .... I do not appear, and the screen is as off, lighting only when it reaches the lock screen as it is detected when the windows and put into service.
There seems to be a serious problem unless the tablet takes to resume from hibernation if not to apgada, is restarting or is hanging etc .... also added that the attempt to make it clear dualboot with android and can not first select the operating system that arrrancar and then once this burden android detected and the LCD displays nothing.
Interestingly if I put an HDMI output on your tablet if it is on the external monitor the logo, I can enter the bios, I can handle android but always clear from the external monitor.
In alugna occasion (very few) after restarting Windows if it has appeared the logo and other .... but not to to be, I have tried to change in bios parámentros to solve the problem but without success,
the only thing left for me is to try to manage the UEFI boot mode but of course, I have no edea of elllo
¿Someone with the same tablet could post pictures of the different screens in the BIOS to see if there is any difference with mine? thank you

Bios update destroyed my precious netbook

Earlier today i was on the samsung website to download some drivers which i think was needed to speed up the boot on of my samsung nc10 netbook. This was mainly because after downloading windows 7 yesterdayi i had a lot of drivers to re-install from the samsung download centre. I noticed during the booting up my laptop that it delayed pn a black screen for a VERY long time before entering into the desktop. I spent hours trying to fix this in device manager, command prompt etc. Nothing worked. When i read on a forum that bios updates might be needed to help windows 7 run better i chose to download one. As the bios update was downloading from the samsung website, after about five mins i noticed the computer had frozen. tried moving the mouse, ctrl alt etc. but nuthing worked. I was very worried when i pressed the power button and the computer did not go off. As i proceeded to take out the battery from the bank i muttered 'nice knowing you laptop' cos i kinda sensed it was a very bad thing about to happen. Took out the battery for a few mins and put the computer back on but it would not switch on. It just showed a blue indicator light and it hasn't come on since then. I can't help but wonder if those 20 delayed seconds during boot was really that intolerable, i should have just left well alone. The poor baby is only a few weeks old and already its met the end. Does anyone know if a laptop can be recovered from an error during bios update? thanks for ur help
I have never seen a laptop that has been able to recover from a Bad BIOS flash, and unlike a Desktop PC it is a bit harder to open it up and change the BIOS ROM chip (containing the EEPROM). Some laptops and computers have the BIOS chip soldered onto the motherboard so you can't just change it (grr).
I would advise you take it back to where you bought it, but be careful with what you tell them happened. Sometimes businesses like to charge you if you were the one that played about with the BIOS, which is kind of annoying since its not exactly you that wrote the BIOS flashing software..
U're very right about not being to quick to state i'd be downloading software. I noticed there is a disclaimer on their website stating they are not liable for any issues caused by changing software. Nice to have seen that cos when i rang them up i just said the laptop won't turn on for some strange reason They agreed to book it in to their service center
you are correct!
if you search in the web of american megatrends maybe you can found a DOS app called something like low application that can helps you to restore a corrupted bios.
My jobs pc has the bios corrupted because of a worm its a vaio so... al the drivers needs to read the model ID and... the model has beendeleted! unbelievable but true the IT technician tells me that he needs time to try that app cause he never do it but he say it will makes the trick.
Try it you cant loose anything more... or take it to the seller and ask him for the service center.
If it uses Phoenix BIOs then you can use an emergency flash disk. I've successfully used it to recover my HP DX6000 after I borked a bios hack to remove a WiFi whitelist.

[Q]Windows Hangs on boot

So here is something interesing. I've head of phones hangning and boot loops, etc.
So, let me reverse this abit and see what everyone thinks. If my phone is turned on, but my laptop off, when I go to boot my laptop with the phone plugged in (its always in development mode never auto mount) my laptop hangs at the windows boot animation screen, at least til I unplug the phone.
I've tried this with various roms on the phone, another android phone (HTC aria), and even my nook color. Its only limited to the android phones, as it doesn't hang with the nook color.
I'm wondering why android phones would be causing windows to get stuck on the boot screen. Any idea's?
Try checking the bios settings to see if usb is first on the bootlist or at least before it boots from harddrive. If so, change them.
My computer wrong shut down correctly if my phone is plugged in, what it does is it recognizes it as hardware and tries to user it as hardware, which it can't

[Q] LG G Watch R screen static

Hello,
A couple of months ago, my LG G Watch R's screen died out on me. It started with a weird distorted display issue that would come and go, displaying black lines and torn textures on the screen for a few minutes and then returning to normal. This would happen a few times a day for almost a week. Suddenly, the watch would display nothing but static for hours, completely eliminating usage. Every now and then, the watch would work somewhat normally. I used this time to reset my device, however, this has not fixed the issue, rather, made it worse. I get to the language selection part of the factory reset and the device begins displaying static again. Originally, I figured I would call up LG and get the device repaired, but since I bought the device through amazon (not an approved LG retailer, I guess), they absolutely refuse to touch it. Now, the only way I can even see the LG boot logo is to let the device completely discharge and the put it on the charging mount. Without doing this, the device displays nothing but static, even after a hard reboot. So without the help of LG, I attempted to debug. However, since I essentially have zero access to my watch's systems, I can not use the ADB software, because I have no way of authorizing debugging mode. I have attempted to boot into recovery mode by swiping from 11 oclock to 5 oclock on the LG boot screen, but this seems to do nothing but display the LG logo indefinitely (I'm not sure if this is normal or not), and I am too inexperienced to know how to even use recovery mode.
I appear to be in quite the bind, does any one else have suggestions on what I can do?

I have exact the same problem, butI'm still in the stadium of the distorted display, black lines and torn textures...
Please keep me informed about solutions, thx.
Pictures may help. Are you guys referring to something like what's described in this thread?

If so, it seems like it's affecting a fair few people. Contact LG and ask for an RMA.

bq Aquaris M10 FHD - Screen stays black (but turned on) after flashing stock Android ROM

Hello!
I kind of "bricked" my tablet. Yesterday I wanted to try Ubuntu touch, installed it trough UBports, everything was easy. After some testing, I decided to go back to Android. The official website of by was shut down, bq doesn't exist anymore. I remember downloading Android images on their website years ago.
However, I was searching the web for copies of Android ROMs for this tablet and found two, one from 2016 (probably Android 5.1) and one from 2018 (Android 6.0, I guess).
I used the SP Flash Tool to flash the ROM onto the tablet. This process takes about three minutes and seems to work fine, I get the green check mark in the end. However, after flashing, the tablet turns on but stays in a blackscreen. First I thought it was bricked now, actually the Android system gets installed! After about ten minutes I can turn off the screen by pressing the Power button - and hear the lock sound! So it pretty much seems like the system gets installed successfully but maybe the screen driver doesn't work?
Plugging the tablet to my monitor through HDMI didn't give me an image either.
I once achieved to get to the recovery menu after a reboot - but again: only a black back-lit screen. I recognized this by randomly pressing buttons until the test sound played.
I tried flashing Ubuntu touch through the SP tool and then I get a fully working tablet, even though the OS itself is old and unusable. So... How do I install Android without the blackscreen? LineageOS or something else would be okay too.
Not sure if this is of any use to you still, but on this German forum there is a software repo that holds most software and firmwares from BQ: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...itory-fuer-treiber-tools-firmware.964197.html.
That said, I have the same tablet and while it's getting kind of old, it's one of the very few tablets that has active development for a Linux operating system. I still have Android on it actually, but I plan to update it with Ubuntu in the near term. It seems stupid to just keep using an old Android version on it. I'm wondering what made you take the step to go back to Android after trying Ubuntu Touch?

Samsung GT-N7000 - The screen goes black after the startup logo

Hi,
A few days ago, I replaced a USB socket on friend's old Samsung Note 1 (GT-N7000). Soldering may not be very professional, but it does the job - the phone is charging and it can connect to the computer.
Today (3 days after replacing the USB) he came back to me with another problem -
after turning on the phone, only the white brand name and model appear at the start and then nothing, a black screen. I think it's turning off. He says he had some problems with the battery in the meantime and the screen was flickering strangely.
He had a custom ROM loaded for a long time that worked normally and worked well on this phone.
Today, despite not starting the system, I was able to enter TWRP recovery and DL mode. However, if I wanted to do anything in recovery (backup, factory reset, etc), the screen turned off. After a few attempts, it stopped going into recovery.
I have restored the original software using Odin and N7000XXLSZ_OXELS7_4.1.2_Repair_Firmware
- still after the white inscriptions at the start, the screen goes black and nothing
- trying to enter recovery, overturned android appears for a moment and the screen goes black
- DL mode works
Maybe someone knows what could have happened and most importantly how to get this phone work? Preferably on some "custom ROM" to have at least Android 7.
I was thinking, I was looking, I was tearing my hair out of my head. I searched half the internet and suddenly stumbled upon this - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...bricked-only-download-mode-available.3096409/
The phone is the same, the problem is the same - the battery is to blame. I immediately called the owner to give all the batteries he has.
OH, OF COURSE! The one I got along with the phone and its problems was the only one that caused all the restarts and errors. After inserting a different battery, the problems were resolved.
All that's left is to clean up Android and the case is closed.
By the way - I have collected in one place the files and information (Polish language only) on how to install NightOwl LineageOS 14.1 Android 7.1.
2 on this phone. If anyone needs this information, please visit here - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1libYpWC4qJbjGJRE1Szf8L3eTdoHPTpE?usp=sharing
